The room was clean and nicely sized. There was a huge step to get to the bed. Almost 40cm tall. I don’t think it is safe for most of the people to stay in such room.

Clean rooms and nice restaurant but limited service days. Fortunately, there is a breakfast place close by. No way on contacting the front desk unless you have a local line to call their phone number.

The room and the hotel were satisfactory. The only potential issue is that there is no staff at reception upon your arrival, and you must check in on your cellphone. Alternatively, you can call someone at their number, and they will check you in. Everything is online, hence it is a point to consider if you are not comfortable with online management of your booking. Sachseln is a beautiful place and Hotel Kreuz is within walking distance from the train station.

Nice and clean hotel. The breakfast is also very good with plenty of options.
