River front view overlooking Detroit from the 12th floor was amazing for our 2 night stay. The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was probably the most comfortable cozy bed my wife and I ever slept in. We texted the front desk for extra pillows and was delivered to our room within a few minutes. Onsite parking was very convenient with a walkway connecting hotel to the parking garage. Will definitely be back. We highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Windsor for a night or two.

Fantastic stay! Our room was clean, spacious, staff was friendly and attentive. The aquatic facility is right across the street. Skywalk connecting parking and hotel. All the pros and no cons. Would definitely stay there again!

There was much construction in the area which made it harder to navigate. The waterfront walk area is lovely and the view of Detroit is great. However the hotel business section doesn't work- 2 computers that don't work. There seems to be confusion about what is included- as in- I thought breakfast and parking were included but they were not. Parking lot is BEHIND the hotel and with street closures it is challenging to get in and out of.

The view of Detroit at night was Spectacular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast and dinner at the River Room restaurant and the food was 5 star! The Gym and pool was clean and equipment was very up to date. This is my second time staying at this hotel this year and I would highly recommend it.

The hotel was very nice with a beautiful view. The pool was nice and you could had a great view of the Detroit Skyline.

The location is unbeatable, offering beautiful views of the Detroit River and an easy walk to plenty of pubs and restaurants. Parking is available behind the hotel for a fee. The staff was fantastic throughout my stay, especially Nissy, whose warm support and professionalism truly stood out. Highly recommended.

Enjoy the waterfront view that I paid for however, due to plumbing the bathroom flooded on my last night. The upgrade was for a room of a city view so was a bit bummed with that as it for sure is lower in cost than the water view rooms. Enjoyed the 24 hour access gym was fairly quiet after 7 PM. And delicious complementary and warm oatmeal walnut chocolate chip cookies. Keep in mind if not familiar with this hotel parking is not on site, but there is a tunnel that can lead you to the hotel.

When I checked in I wasn’t told anything about the facilities, my husband had to call the front desk twice to ask about the pool and the time that it was open what time breakfast was all that kind of stuff. They always stayed and had a urine stain on the floor next to the right side of the bed, which I understand pets could stay if it’s still pretty gross.

I like to stay in Double Three, it is alway clean, but this one. The office chair is so dirty that you don't want sit at.

The washroom was in an unusable state. Didn’t bother checking the rest of the suite. Didn’t bother with a new room. Went somewhere else.

I’ve stayed at six different hotels in Windsor and this is by far the best! Impeccably appointed and clean room and close walk to everything!

We enjoyed our stay here. For the most part it was very clean and met our expectations (for the price we paid) but the washroom wasn’t very clean - there was a ring of dirt/grime around the base of the toilet which was surprising. Also, this is minor but the pillows were very very large and not comfortable for sleeping. I looked around for other options and there were just the four pillows on the bed, all oversized. Lastly, this is more a disappointment with Expedia but we realized that the rate we paid through Expedia was significantly more than the rate we could get if booking directly through the hotel. So something to consider when booking through Expedia - I was surprised. I contacted Expedia to get it corrected and because it was a “non refundable rate” and they apparently couldn’t get ahold of the hotel via the phone, they couldn’t do anything. I would have said the hotel met all of our expectations and rated it higher if it cost $100 less (we paid $286 for one night, parking extra). Just a so-so stay - certainly not bad but not exceptional either.

Staff was fantastic. The sink in my room was clogged, so I sent a text and they came and fixed it right away. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Would stay here again for sure!

No one cleaned our room. This is fine if it is an option to save energy etc but there was no notification that this was not going to happen. If we had known we would have hung up towels etc. By the way there were no hooks or racks in the bathroom to hang towels.

The air conditioner in my room needed maintenance, not pleasant sound noise to say the least.

Bed was decent, great pillows. Didn't appreciate going into the room and there was no A/C on. It was 80° which made it very hot for getting ready for a wedding. No fan on the bathroom to suck out humid hot air. Very hot.

My name is Jessica Marques I wanted to share my recent hotel experience with Doubletree Windsor Ontario. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues during my stay that left me feeling quite disappointed. One incident that stood out was the clogged toilet in my room. I called for assistance around 11:30pm, and they said someone would come in the morning. I explained that waiting wasn't feasible as I needed to use the toilet. They didn't offer any other options and expected me to go without a working toilet overnight. I asked for a plunger so I could handle it myself, and eventually, they brought one to my room. However, I was unexpectedly woken up at 7 am by someone knocking on my door to fix the toilet which I clearly dealt with myself. It was really inconvenient and disrupted my sleep. I understand that issues can happen, but the service I received in this situation didn't meet my expectations. It left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced during my stay. I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention because I believe it's important for you to know about the experiences your guests have. I hope you can take this feedback into consideration and address these issues to ensure a better experience for future guests. I was actually considering your hotel for an upcoming event, but after my recent experience, I'm no longer sure if that's the right option for me. I would appreciate if you could address these concerns and make it right.

Quick and friendly checkin, warm cookies, loved the nespresso machine in the room - comfortable bed - parking garage had a walkway to hotel - loved the 9:00 coffee and dessert in the hotel bar area. Definitely will be back

Great hotel with super friendly and helpful staff! The location is great and walkable to great restaurants and activities. Parking was included in the garage attached to the hotel. Our room was clean and has the most amazing view of the Detroit skyline!

The hotel itself was fantastic, the service, rooms, and staff were excellent. I didn’t enjoy the attached college hallway and walkway to parking because it was over run with students smoking in the breezeway and tunnel. The surrounding area in downtown Windsor is not very nice. There is an unusual high number of homeless people mulling around both near the hotel and through out the downtown core. I would stay at the hotel again but the area is sketchy. The keg next door was great for dinner also. We also used the Waterpark while staying here and it was also great.

Beautiful setting looking out over the Detroit River and Downtown Detroit. Very convenient to the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel. Easy parking in adjacent parking garage, with a walking bridge to the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff.

Service was satisfactory. Bed was uncomfortable. Room was noisy - easy to hear people next door. Breakfast buffet was not worth the price. Food was not good. There are cheaper options that are just as good or better in the area. Disappointing for a Hilton property.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Windsor, Ontario, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few areas that could use improvement. What I Loved: I booked a water-view room, and I have absolutely no regrets. The view of the Detroit skyline was breathtaking — truly the kind of scenery you could sit and enjoy for hours. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient. The artwork throughout the hotel was beautiful, the room was clean and tidy, and the pool area was well maintained. What Could Be Improved: We dined at the River Room, which offers a spectacular view, but unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. Both the beef burger and the steak were disappointing; in fact, we ended up returning the burger after only a few bites. Parking was very convenient, though on the expensive side. One thing I found unacceptable for a hotel of this level is the lack of included amenities such as bathrobes and slippers. These small touches make a big difference in comfort and overall experience, and their absence was surprising. Overall: A beautiful hotel with stunning views and great cleanliness, but with room for improvement in dining quality and in-room amenities.

Nice hotel - walkable to the casino. Parking garage is available, but it costs extra. A warning - there is no free breakfast. There is a restaurant but it is expensive.

The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and amiable. The view is beautiful. The restaurant is a great spot to relax and have a drink while taking in the view, and they don’t rush you over a leisurely meal. The streets behind the hotel feel a bit sketchy. The only fault I could find with this hotel is that the makeup mirror is hung for those who are 6’ and above. So if that is you, this is your place!

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view and very spacious room. Beds were extremely comfortable and room very clean. I would stay there again any time. Also the restaurant was delic (but not cheap).
