Hotel Miramar am Römer

Staff was untrained and not helpful. Also, We booked through Hotels.com and ended up taking our daughter with us and she booked a room directly at the hotel that was bigger and better and paid half what we did. The room was stifling hot and there was a thermostat but it just made fan noises. Nothing came from the vents. We asked the concierge for help and he replied “I don’t know. I’m new”. And that was that. We opened a window but with no screens and being on the ground floor we couldn’t leave it open.

The room is small and the decor is rather old but it’s clean and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast was good. For the location (near Römer/Dom) it’s good value. Close to U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations, lots of dining and shopping options nearby.

The room was decently clean and comfortable but I was on the ground floor so significant noise at night outside. It is a great location for walking around Romerberg section of Frankfurt as its right off St. Paul's Square. Kleinmarkthalle is also very close the opposite direction.

We had a place to sleep, which was all we needed. However, the property was extremely dirty—there was hair everywhere even after cleaning. Many things were falling apart, and the place felt very outdated overall.
