The room was a bit tatty, but it sufficed. We could not get ice in the evening. One of the front desk staff (the overnight person) was ... less interested in his clients than he ought to have been. I would not deem it a three-star hotel.

Wow. This hotel is much more rundown than I had anticipated. At over $400 per night. I expected much more. While I didn’t have any negative issues, I would say that not having a deadbolt on the door made me feel very unsafe as a single traveler. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a hard pass. All in one body wash shampoo in bathroom. Yikes. Vending machine for water and wine. To be honest prices in vending machine seemed very reasonable.

An sich hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt mit toller Lage. Das Zimmer war sauber und für uns gut ausgestattet. Punkt Abzug gibt es weil …. Die eingangs Drehtür extrem unpraktisch ist mit Gepäck (die Nebentür ist nicht immer offen). Die Spalten der Drehtür sind viel zu klein somit ist das ein reiner Krampf da mir seinem Gepäck durch zu komme. Als wir ankamen war ein Herr vor und der sich sehr lautstark geäußert hat da er verärgert war das er zwar eine Reservierung hatte mit Buchungsbestätigung, für ihn aber kein Zimmer frei war. Der Herr an der Theke hatte gar keine Empathie geschweige denn hat er in irgend einer Weise Interesse an dem Gast oder der Problemlösung gehabt. Das war auch was dem fast vor und am meisten gestört hat. Auch wir fanden das nicht besonders gastfreundlich. Wir waren vor 6 Tagen im Hotel und seid 6 Tagen Versuch ich das Hotel telefonisch zu erreichen, es geht nie jemand ran, einen Anrufbeantworter gibt es auch nicht. Auf meine Emails mit meiner Frage bekomme ich keine Rückmeldung.

Pros: Staff was very helpful and offered free breakfast for the elevator problems. Cons: smaller room than expected. AC barely kept room cool, even at full blast. Elevator doors malfunctioned constantly so had to use the stairs once in a while.

The room was nice. The housekeeping was nice. The internet was not dependable. The little wi-fi icon was never fully lit. It only lit up two bars. Repeatedly I had to quit and log in again. The entry way needs work: 1. First, there is a raised platform just outside the revolving door. Exiting the revolving door, there is a scant few inches to the edge of the platform, which is encumbered by a ridge over which it is very easy to stumble. 2. Secondly, where one exits, the carpeting is torn, and a shoe is easily caught where the carpet is torn, exacerbating the danger already posed by the ridge on the raised platform. I have advised the managing directors.

Stayed at hotel for three (3) nights. Price was high 166 Euro per night with no food. No lobby, very small room, bed not very comfortable, and very limited amout of hot water. Not enough to wash hands let alone to have two people shower.

Gutes Hotel mitten in der Stadt, top Lage, alles kann zu Fuß erreicht werden. Stadtplan gab es an der Rezeption, Keine eigene Parkgarage, aber S-Bahn in unmittelbarer Nähe. Hotel ist schon etwas älter, aber sauber. gerne wieder.

The hotel room was riddled with bed bugs. I couldn't sleep at all, and my back was eaten alive by the bugs. Hotel reception said they couldn't do anything because they were fully booked. In the morning, I checked out and found another hotel, and the the hotel staff assured my money would be refunded, but they never did so and don't answer e-mail.

Rooms are small but spotless. The breakfast was really nice. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is the perfect location for all the Christmas Markets. You are just 1 block from walking into the Christmas Market. Then since there are numerous markets, you are about 5 to 6 blocks from them.

We woke up in the middle of the night to our room crawling with bedbugs. They were all over the bed on the walls and on the ceiling. We packed up our stuff and left and notify the front desk. he asked us if we had opened a window but the window to our room was open when we got there which was odd. He said sorry, but also said there was nothing he could do and I should email Management. I emailed them pictures and we have yet to hear back from them.

My experience in the hotel was the worst in my life, the room I was assigned was full of bed bugs and while I was sleeping they attacked me. My clothes were contaminated and when I requested support from the hotel, they did nothing. The facilities are old and the light in the rooms is useless, I had no light in the bathroom.

Im Zimmer war Ungeziefer, ich gehe von Wanzen aus. Sie waren auch im Bett und im Bad. Information ans Gesundheitsamt war nicht von Interesse. Ich habe mehrere solche Lebewesen zerquetscht.

The pillows and sheets were covered in hair, the rooms were dirty, and there were stains in the toilet (which could have been cleaned if proper effort was made). When I brought this to the attention of the gentleman at the front desk (likely the night shift staff), he was extremely rude. While he did change one of the rooms, his attitude was unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel Miramar is about what you would expect for the price - friendly staff, easy access, but some bugs and mildew in the room, bed was pretty hard/a little old. I would stay here again for the convenience and the price. Note: wifi is very slow, too slow to stream - I ended up using my phone to stream a show instead of the hotel wifi.

Location is fantastic for sightseeing but be prepared for very small (but well decorated) rooms and no air conditioning (and limited air circulaion in courtyard facing rooms). And it is hard to beat the price

Room is tiny - good for 1 person, or 2 if athletic as 1 side of the bed is against the wall with a wardrobe at its end so you have to climb over whoever you are with. Bathroom door and frame lowers are rotting away do to poor (read none I could see anyway) shower door seals flooding the floor, so you end with half the towels as the rest used to dry the floor. Breakfast, bed quality, location and price are the only good points, plus TV allows screen sharing from your mobile

Everything was great: location concierge and room. But biggest disappointment is the mattress and that's the most important thing at the hotel. Half of the mattress had broken coil spring and you feel when you sit and lay down... worst experience evere.... couldn't slip on that side of the bed... Safe did not work as well in my unit.

I booked a 2-person room via Hotels.com for a trip to meet some friends. But upon arrival the receptionist at the hotel told me that because I have a 2-person room, I must pay the City Tax for two persons, although I was traveling alone. I tried to convince him that I only booked a 2-person room because the 1-person rooms seemed incredibly small and the price difference was very small, but the intent was always to travel alone. But he insisted that I have to pay for two persons, even if I was by myself.(not consistent with the rule for City Tax, which is per person and not per room type). He told me that I can send an email to the hotel management, which I did right away. But no response. I sent two more emails later, but no responses. I did get responses in the Hotels.com app to send the emails, but like I said, no one responded in over a week to my three emails to the address given. Not huge money but principle is wrong.

I arrived in the morning and I knew I had to wait until check in time at around 2:00 pm. But the receptionist told me as soon as my room was vacated and cleaned that I could proceed to my room as early as 11:00 am. He was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Thank you very much!

When I brought this to the attention of the gentleman at the front desk (likely the night shift staff), he was extremely rude. While he did change one of the rooms, his attitude was unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean, comfortable, able to regulate temp in room easily. Noisy at night until night crowd goes to bed but not bad really. Around the corner from Christmas Market and all the churches and museums! Listening to all the church bells at once is magical. Loved our stay. Be prepared to walk a bit from the train station though…

Great location that is steps from Bartholomew's Cathedral right in the Altstadt. Hotel is dated and has little in the way of amenities but for the price that is to be expected. Staff were great and place was clean. Highly recommend if you are visiting Frankfurt to see the sights and just need a basic hotel to stay at in between seeing the many things that Frankfurt has to offer.

Perfect location next to the old town and 6 minutes walk from the train that goes to the airport. Feels much safer than the area around the train station where a lot of other hotels are, plus it’s closer to the main attractions of Frankfurt

Rooms are small but spotless. The breakfast was really nice. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is the perfect location for all the Christmas Markets. You are just 1 block from walking into the Christmas Market. Then since there are numerous markets, you are about 5 to 6 blocks from them.

The people at reception have been kind all the time. The place is very good and convenient as it is close to city center but, extremely noisy during the begining of the night and beginning of the day because. There is a restaurant behind of the building and the clean the trash late at night and early in the morning.

The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is really great for exploring things on foot. The room was super small, smaller than it appeared in the photos. We noticed that every day, the breakfast buffet was less and less stocked, to the point that on the last day, there was one spoon of eggs and not even any milk. The wifi was not strong, and the smart tv had a lot of trouble connecting to the signal. Our room faced the busy street, and the staff who went outside to smoke ended up right outside the window, which made for an unpleasant smell.

Perfectly located right near the historic city center, with many cafes, shops, and museums within walking distance. Hotel decor was a bit dated but otherwise clean, spacious, and with good amenities. Hotel com uma localidade excelente,roupas de cama limpas e café da manha bom.Funcionando ar condicionado ,só nao tinha frigobar .A funcionaria Maria me atendeu muito bem ,me ofereceu ate outro quarto para verificar o frigobar e verifiquei tambem que o primeiro quarto tinha um tamanho pequeno de acordo com a opçao que tinha pago.Fiquei na segunda opçao que ela ofereceu.Depois de vê que nao tinha o frigobar,ela me avisou que tinha recebido um comunicado que tinham sido retirados dos quartos por causa da reforma.
