There is no elevator so it was inconvenient to roll our luggage upstairs. The area is secluded and there is nothing walking distance. Luckily, their restaurant offers good options and is reasonably priced.

Property Is jus as gorgeous in person and so easy to access everything. Very peaceful and games around were good! Also 9 minutes from the airport!

We opted for room 7 and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It’s on the second floor and is in a circle pplop out with a view of the oool and full windows of natural light. The bed is the showcase. A poster bed on a pedestal with flowing surrounding curtains. Loved it. Important to note this hotel has no elevator and is a virtually staff free hotel. You’ll get a code to enter, save it as it’s the same code for door to the suite. No staff on site till breakfast. Breakfast starts 730 and was good. Started the morning treading in the pool and ended in the hammock. Will note this location and repeat.

Stayed for one night. It seems it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, with nothing really walkable. There’s no restaurant or bar, and the pool was drained when I was there. The continental breakfast was marginal- two pieces of toast, some fruit with a bit of yogurt, Tang. It’s a cute little hotel though, and staff was friendly. The room was clean enough with free bottled water and good AC.

Property is well maintained. Instructions to reach and find the way in were very clear. There's also a mini restaurant inside. I will just caution that the safest way to reach this property is to take a taxi that drops you at the entrance.

Very tidy and clean room. Surface was small. Breakfast was correct, staff was very nice. The most important point is that the hotel is close to the airport and 100% autonomous check-in/out. You can litterally arrive anytime and they provide you with all the codes to access the building/parking, makes it very convenient.

The room was clean. A/C anf a fan working great. Although there was no reception it was fast and easy to get in the room. It is close to the airport. The restaurant is a great amenity. The food was good and a good selection. If you're looking to rest this is the place.

The room had fleas. I was bitten multiple Times the light the one night I was there. I then flew out home and brought them with me. Those damn fleas flew with me. Stay here at your own risk. I needed for one night before my flight and I regret staying here so much. I wouldn’t have minded the digital check in, the ghost like house with no one around, the worn out and dingy rooms and bathroom if it wasn’t for fleas infestation. What a nightmare!!

I checked into to this facility and check in was great everything was done virtually. We walked into our room and the room smelled like raid and there was mold beneath the AC. I left and booked another property the raid smell was strong. Since there is no one at the property I was unable to make a complaint.

Grande chambre. Literie moyenne, draps humides, serviettes élimées. Propreté ok (mais tout est vieillissant). Service moyen. Assez calme la nuit. Pas de restauration mais possibilité de se faire livrer type ubereat et de manger dans la salle collective. Ça va pour une nuit, c'est à environ 7 km de l'aéroport...

Nous avons eu un lit 130 max pour deux c’etait limite. Un matela tres mou, le pommeau de douche avec trop de calvaire. Du coup les jets partait dans tout les sens. Tres bruyant pas assez insonorisé.

Pros: the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked, albeit a little noisy. Lots of hot water and a spacious room. It was a ground floor room with a small patio and really lovely grounds. I enjoyed breakfast. Cons: My room was definitely showing its age. The furniture had lots of nicks and dings. The air conditioner was a little noisy but didn’t interfere with my sleep. Linens were certainly showing their age. The security lock was broken on my door. The cheapest sort of locking door knob didn’t inspire much confidence. And the blinds on the patio doors did not meet in the middle so quite easy for someone to see inside the room if strolling around the grounds. Hard to find and not a walkable neighborhood.

The WiFi in our room did not work, nor did the tv. We asked for some assistance but was just told it does not work. If you're going to be checking in at night, eat before you come. We arrived around 10:00pm and had no options for food. Couldn't get Uber eats because outside food is not allowed and the WiFi didn't work to look it up anyway.

It is a small property with limited entertainment available. There isn't anything within walking distance and you can't bring outside food in. They do have a very small restaurant that has decent food. They advertised a bar but i didn't see it in operation. The place is outdated. Television remote codes didn't work. I only stayed a night and left early so i didn't notify staff of any issues.

Lovely outside area, the rooms are OK. WiFi isn’t great in the rooms, I would stay again mainly because there aren’t mini fridges and they wouldn’t let me eat food in the room.

Buen hotel pero con una gran cantidad de cosas que podrían mejorar. 1. El wifi no funciona en la habitación (estuve en la habitación número 3). Lo intenté en múltiples dispositivos sin éxito 2. Es imposible tener completa oscuridad para dormir debido a las luces exteriores que dan al balcón y por la falta de cortinas que cubren enteramente las ventanas. 3. La señal de la televisión va y viene por lo que se hace difícil ver una película o serie. Cosas positivas 1. El staff 2. El restaurante que tiene comida muy buena a muy buen precio 3. Tamaño de la habitación

Forferdelig plassering og ekstremt lytt. Hotellet ligger rett ved en gård av noe slag med en hane som begynner å gale i ett sett fra kl. 04.00. Vi er veldig glad vi bare hadde booket en natt her.

This is a stunningly beautiful setting! And the instructions for access were very good. Our only hesitation to stay again is because there’s no one on staff and available. Someone was having an intense and very loud encounter for almost an hour at 4 am and we had no recourse available to deal with it.

I was trapped and crushed by the parking lot door and almost broke my ribs. I reported the incident through the WhatsApp number provided, but I never received a response or any sign of concern. The door requires urgent repair, as it poses a serious safety risk and could lead to a tragic incident if not addressed promptly.

The room was clean. It would have been nice to have a bathmat. There was a weird smell coming in from the balcony, so we kept the door shut between the bedroom and the bathroom area. The fan didn't work. Virtual entry was easy and communication was excellent. The food at the restaurant was very good, but a little pricey. Overall, a nice stay for an airport layover.

Check-In process was very easy as everything was done through WhatsApp. Room was clean and had a great view of the backyard pool. The food available at the restaurant downstairs was some of the best we had in Cancun. Exceptional service!

I recently stayed at Villa Palmeras while traveling from Canada to Holbox. We needed a couple of affordable rooms for a night before traveling on the next day. I was a bit concerned during the taxi ride there that I'd made a mistake as the hotel isn't in an area I would expect. However once inside the gates I was immediately relieved to be in a beautiful gardened space that felt like an estate or manor. The rooms and beds were wonderful and clean, the food was good and the service pleasant. It is a bit unusual because accessing the grounds and rooms is all digital with access codes, no keys and there is no traditional front desk with a concierge. However everything I needed or asked for (including an affordable shuttle to and from the airport) was arranged remotely via WhatsApp. I will stay again and would recommend Villa Palmeras for a lay over or if you're traveling by car. It is not near a beach or a shopping district so I wouldn't recommend as a vacation hotel unless you have a car to get around or don't mind taxiing to see the sights of Cancun.

Very tidy and clean room. Surface was small. Breakfast was correct, staff was very nice. The most important point is that the hotel is close to the airport and 100% autonomous check-in/out. You can litterally arrive anytime and they provide you with all the codes to access the building/parking, makes it very convenient.

There is no elevator so it was inconvenient to roll our luggage upstairs. The area is secluded and there is nothing walking distance. Luckily, their restaurant offers good options and is reasonably priced.

Me gustó mucho el lugar, la limpieza y el espacio, es un lugar muy lindo, pero está en una zona deshabitada, muy alejada. Si solo lo usas para dormir cerca del aeropuerto fuera de eso no recomiendo en esa zona. También tuvimos algunos problemas para entrar y como todo es automatizado no había personas para atendernos… entonces tuvimos algunas complicaciones menores que podían resolverse más rápido si hubiera personal.

I would not recommend this property at all. The location is terrible due to the fact it’s far down the beaten path & little to no outdoor lights. What’s worse is the fact that the entering the property is such a hassle and very often times other guest struggle to enter because there is a code to input that takes time to learn. Also even more terrible is the fact Taxis consider this property terrible to get to as well because it’s so near seemingly near the countryside

Great Hotel Staff was excellent Clean Quiet Limited on the food at the restaurant. Nothing within walking so you have to eat at the hotel and they didnt have anything on the menu.

The WiFi in our room did not work, nor did the tv. We asked for some assistance but was just told it does not work. If you're going to be checking in at night, eat before you come. We arrived around 10:00pm and had no options for food. Couldn't get Uber eats because outside food is not allowed and the WiFi didn't work to look it up anyway.

This was a great place for our stay at Cancun. We stayed for 4 nights here, the price was affordable, staff was friendly, parking was easy. Food was great as well, in fact we had two of our dinners here as well. Rooms are nice and clean and well maintained. All in all, a great place for the price. Few areas of improvement 1. We weren't able to use the pool during our stay as it was being renovated, so that was something of a bummer. 2. They charge you extra for eggs in Breakfast, which was really weird to me. Most of the hotels I have stayed in my life would provide eggs, with bread/waffles, but not here. I would suggest them add a few dollars to the daily rate, instead of asking customers to pay for eggs daily, lol. 3. If anyone wants to feel the vibe of nightlife of Cancun, this place is pretty far away from hotel zone and downtown as well. For us, it wasn't an issue but for some people it might be. Overall,I would recommend Villa Palmeras to my friends and if I am back in Cancun again, might consider staying here again.

HIGHS of my stay at villa palmeras: - close to airport (what i needed this night) - huge room with HUGE balcony (had the jr suite to myself) - free water - the best michelada i've ever had in my life - quick check-in & check-out - received a call in my room when my transportation had arrived, which was nice - pool / garden area were GORGEOUS and so well maintained. pool was very warm too! - good water pressure for the shower - no issues with noisiness (had seen another review that described it as an echo chamber, but this was not my experience) - very few guests. they only have a few rooms, and so it had an intimate feel! things that were 'fine': - food options. dinner and breakfast were ok but not great. looking back I would have preferred to try a restaurant nearby. - food service was a bit slow, but i understand it was only one person on deck for serving. in my case, I sat at a table for ~10 min before I was approached by a server. not necessarily a deal breaker, but just something to be aware of things to know ahead of YOUR stay: - TV channels did not work. unsure if this was just user error on my end, but a bit disappointing. - Had to pay for dinner directly with waitstaff instead of charging it to my room. Make sure you have cash on hand! (meal two alcoholic drinks came out to about $35) - I was eaten alive by mosquitos when I ate outside the night I stayed. Like 20 bites all over my legs. Be sure to bring bug repellant or eat inside.
