The hotel was very clean, Air quality in the room was good. The shower door was a bit awkward as you had to walk through the stream of water. Morning breakfast was scant which is not a biggie except my yogurt was not cool, rather room temp or warmer. Staff was friendly. Coffee was good and available always. Convenient parking.

The hotel was incredibly quiet, despite being sold out. The 24 coffee service was great! Points off for water pressure and hot water. In fact, the shower turned itself off multiple times. Only one elevator working which was at times a pain, but overall, worth the stay.

Several times OJ was out, but we got to watch the crows feast on the overflowing trash can just outside the dining area. Outdoor sofas seemed the attract inconsiderate guests with stinking cigars and trash left behind. I’ve stayed here off and on for almost two years and it seems like things are starting to slip since January.

Found blood on the sheets and my husband and I both had an allergic reaction to the bedding. They told us they use Tide but we’ve stayed at the hotel they chain before and I’ve never had an issue.

The first room they gave us was dirty and was not clean. The second room the floor was dirty. So I wiped up water and the towel was brown dirty. Part of the bed nightstand was falling off the wall.

We have stayed at this property before with only a few issues. Our recent stay was less than pleasant. Upon arrival to our room, it was dirty. Floors very visibly dirty, bathroom and shower dirty with hair and wet foot prints all over the floor. Food was left in the refrigerator. We asked for this to be cleaned while we were out. Did not happen. No hot water for shower second night. Toasters did not work at breakfast and food was limited. Water stopped altogether on checkout morning. Voiced our concerns on checkout. Desk staff seemed sympathetic but they clearly could do nothing to help us. Guess we are on the search for a new hotel as we stay in the area 4-5 times a year.

Good room. Comfortable. Still fairly new feel, but they could keep up better on maintenance issues. Shower door wouldn’t shut properly. High-tech TV in room but we couldn’t connect to it. Front desk wouldn’t answer my call from the room. Went down in person and was given a number to call. They couldn’t fix it and said they’d call back in five minutes. Then called back over an hour later after we were in bed.

The rooms are small, but clean and mostly well-maintained. One of the lights did not work. The guest above us had their bass up high, so sleeping was difficult. Their breakfast is really basic. Most of their options are prepackaged junk, but they did offer a mediocre omelet. The beds are comfortable enough, and the air conditioner works well. The blinds are good at keeping out the light. Overall a good hotel.

The room was very clean, comfortable and modern. The bed was super comfy and they provide both soft and firm pillows, which was a nice touch. The room was small but the space was used really well and we had room for everything we needed. It was right off the highway, which made it a perfect stop on our road trip, but the room was quiet.

We were disappointed that we could not pay cash at check out. We understand the need to secure the reservation with a credit card but wished to pay with cash (legal tender for all debts public and private) as we were leaving. We also asked for a receipt at check out and were told it would be emailed to us, which it was not. Breakfast selections were uninspiring. The room was new, very clean with very comfortable beds. However, it was very small, requiring that the person at the desk with computer had to stand up to cross to the other side of the king bed. This would not be an issue for a single traveler. The bathroom was quite spacious with a tiled shower instead of a bathtub which was great. A grab bar for older guests would have been appreciated.

The young person at the front desk was personable, intelligent and informed. She greeted each new arrival as an honored guest. If I ran an inn, I'd want to hire her. The hotel is modern, very clean and convenient not only to on and off the highway but also to other services in Staunton.

At 5 AM I was woken up by the stomping and what sounded like furniture being moved in the room above mine. I called the front desk but there was no answer. I finally went downstairs and couldnt find any staff. I was later able to determine that there was only one person on duty and she was preparing the breakfast at the time. There was no one to deal with the noise and I wasn't able to sleep past 5. The hotel should have means to assure guests behave.

The facility would have been okay but the toilet in one room would not flush. When we tried to call the front desk, we got no answer. We tried a cellphone call to the hotel number. No answer after 15 rings. I went down to the desk and was given something I could try myself to fix it. It did not. I took the lid off the tank and we flushed it by hand.

I booked a room for after a 100 mile race this weekend and when we arrived at 3am after 31 hours of trail running and no sleep I was informed that I didn’t have a reservation even though I had a confirmation email and a charge on my card. NOTHING was done to make this right and we had to drive 2 hours back to Lynchburg in the middle of the night. Really frustrating and just plain bad business. Took no responsibility for giving away our room. Now dealing with trying to get a refund….

Limited handicap parking, trash is overflowing from the garbage cans outside, the lady who checked me in asked if I wanted to use the card on file to pay and I said no but she ran it thru anyways and it didn’t go thru. Again I said no so I had to fill out yet another form and she got a bit of an attitude. The hotel itself is nice. The soap dispenser in my room is falling off the wall.

Loved the easy access to and from the I-81, parking was well lit, staff very welcoming, lobby and room very clean, bed was comfortable and room was modern with plenty of usb plugs and many channels on TV. Will be back next year for sure!

This rather new hotel has comfortable rooms with clever decor. On three visits staff have been uniformly helpful. Location at intersection of I-64 and I-81 is convenient for our frequent trips between Upstate NY and the NC Triangle.

The hotel was clean and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately the place is seriously understaffed. Our room did not have a remote for the TV but was corrected by the one desk employee on duty during the evening. Our room did not get serviced and we had to request clean towels. Trash was piled by the elevator. Poor quality of breakfast items.
