Right off the interstate.. kind of isolated.. rooms are separate from the registration area.. outside entrance to room.. concierge took my credit card and made a copy of it or wrote down the number.. I wasn’t happy about that.

The property was in need of remodeling and/or repair. The rugs in the hallway/porch areas were worn, with many holes. Breakfast was adequate, but lacking in protein - lots of carbs. I was surprised that there was no coffee/tea maker in the room. Despite the threadbare appearance of the motel, the room was clean. The motel was OK for a one night stopover on our trip.

The staff are very niçe and property is just off of a ramp 117 of interstate 81 Mint Springs and has it's own property with plenty of parking very nice quiet and safe. Large grounds pool and picnic area.

Safe yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for a hotel! Located right off the highway in a dated trucker's lot. The main lobby is a separate building from the hotel. The pictures under this hotel's description are absolutely false!! Hotel still took our money after we cancelled our stay!! Beware!!

I had to pay an early check-in. Light fixtures were hanging off the ceiling. Water damage everywhere. I was looking to enjoying at least one amenity, the playground, but it had literally fallen apart and a major safety hazard. The hotel is overpriced, not near anything charming in Staunton, and probably violating many building codes. The staff were super kind.

Dingy, ac didnt work and was loud, no usb anywhere, ice machines broken, vending machines not stocked, trash in parking area, freezers broken in both rooms. And they tried triple charging us for extra days. Absolutely disgusting.

I was disappointed that the internet was not working. The television does not have accessibility features and no closed captioning. Overall, it looked like the rooms had been renovated. Breakfast was good, but the healthy options were limited.

Did not like having to travel to get breakfast in a separate building. Room was clean but smelled strongly of smoke even though it was non smoking room. Young man at registration was very accommodating as my husband is handicapped and could not climb stairs so he gave us a downstairs room.

1) Front desk was not as helpful as they could have been during check in. we wanted to use a different credit card, but they insisted on taking the one used online. 2) There was a very large ice patch on the walkway in front of our door. water was dripping from a nozzle on the outside wall and freezing. the ice was about 3 feet wide. 3) there was no coffee maker. the microwave and mini-fridge were nice to have, but it was disappointing not to have a coffee maker.

Dirty ripped curtains, no coffee available in lobby and clerk ignored my request. Lampshades, wall switches all stained, sticky. Second bed had hair in the sheets and the bottom sheet was wrinkled and loose as if used. Roach ran when I turned on the bathroom light. Checked in at 8pm ish after driving through horrible thunder and lightening and was exhausted so couldn't leave/move. I have pictures because it was so disgusting but I cant get them to loadhere below). I was traveling alone and very upset. I wont use Hotels.com again (after many years) if this is an example of economical offerings.

There were not enough choices for breakfast. The bed was ok but the bathroom was gross. The shower had a used bar of soap and there was a ring of urine around the base of the toilet. The sink was very small and there was no space to put toiletries.

They need pest control. Several family embers and I stayed in a few rooms and they ALL had roaches! Although we visit Staunton often we will never sat at a Days Inn nor recommend it to our family or friends. The staff and their service at the desk was fine, but the room was not fully clean (dusty, not vaccumed and smelled musty) and the roaches inside the rooms was disgusting.

I booked a non smoking room, the first thing I noticed was the thick smell of cigarettes. The bedding seemed unlaundered, there was hair all over the bottom sheet, and stains all over everything. The worst part about the stains was that some of them still seemed fresh, like they were still drying from getting wet in the first place. There was also a crusted on booger on the bottom sheet too. The bathroom light had loose electrical sticking out, the floor in the bathroom was cracked and sinking in a couple of spots, and there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling. One of the pillows had a blood stain on one side and a giant yellow stain on the other under the pillow case. Ive never stayed at a dirtier facility. The only credit I'll give them was that we were immediately given another room before we even got to mention the extent of the condition of the room. With that new room we only removed one pillow and two of the blankets for stains, the rest seemed okay.

Bed sheets had stains, hairs and cigarette burns in a non smoking room. Breakfast was devil dogs and a crockpot of sausage gravy. Not worth the money. Don’t recommend this hotel.

The rooms are at the reservation building. When I arrived the washer and dryer was in the breezeway of the rooms and they were below my room. Then there a strong smell from someone cooking in one of the rooms which was strong, then there was cigarette smell that came in my room. Then, in the morning people were outside of room being loud and then I heard people slamming the washer and dryer early in the morning. I got up and took a shower which the water didn’t drain good, came out from the shower and found a bug on my bed.

Once i stepped inside the room, everything was much better. The exterior of the hotel is run down but the rooms appear to have been renovates. Shower was great, bed slept well, and the only oddity was thw AC unit on the floor, but it cooled the room off pretty quickly.

We were traveling with our dog, so we were grateful that this option was offered. The room was basic and neat and tidy, but there were several things that were of concern. The floor in the bathroom was cracked and jagged right as you stepped out of the shower. The bathroom sink paws being held together with a construction clamp. One of the few outlets in the room was not even attached to the wall. It was a four part receptacle and it was literally dangling by the wire. I felt it was a huge fire hazard so we were unable to use it. Lastly, the outside areas of the hotel were very sketchy. There was a pile of old mattresses (prob 50-60 of them) in the back of the hotel that were very ugly. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

However the following need to be improved, replaced or repaired; shower head had only 1 of 6 positions working, the bathtub drained very slowly, shower curtains were useless as water easily got through to floor, paint peeling and vent plugged

Not enough staff to check guests in, took 20 - 30 minutes with one person working. Breakfast buffet wasn't great. Skipped it on the second day. Beds were comfortable and new A/C's are great. Bathrooms need a lot of work.

From check-in to check-out, my mom and i were very satisfied. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, the romm, grounds and lobby/breakfast area was super clen. beds comfortable.The bagels were amazing as well.. wish I could have found out where to buy some!! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family!

We made the reservation through hotels.com. It became apparent we weren't going to make it to the hotel. Tried to call the hotel but they have a recorded line that says all cancellations must be made through hotels.com, not the hotel itself. Way too much trouble when you're on the road. Never again.

We tried to check in 1 hour early and they wanted $25 for early check-in. I can go check in to 5 star hotel and not get charged early check in fee. I asked for extra towels the next morning before we started our day and the lady tells me I need to let my housekeeper know. I asked her if she could leave them a note because we are going to be out all day. She was pretty rude about it. I will never stay here again!

This motel was convienently located right off the interstate. Bed was very comfortable. It is an older property and shows some wear, but it was clean and quiet. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The only drawback was there were no places to get dinner close by.

The room was great for what it was. Not fancy but not expensive, so it met all of our needs. The included breakfast is not as extravagant as seen in the pictures. Basically bagels biscuits a couple of cereals and coffee and orange juice. The low price point for the property did everything we needed.

We should have known by the ‘attractive pricing’, despite generally positive reviews that this place wasn’t at all what we were looking for. Loiterer’s (10-15) out on the stairs to the upper units when we arrived at about 10 pm. Broken tiles in the bathroom, stained towels, advertised ‘full breakfast’ that included bread, bagels, biscuits, cereal with a pot of sausage gravy, juice and a couple apples. Their apparent recent renovations seriously missed the mark. If you’re truly desperate, this is your place!

"Hot" breakfast was not. The only hot item was gravy and bagel if you toasted it. Otherwise it was a continental breakfast. We chose to go elsewhere for breakfast. The light drapes in the window were torn. Wallpaper bubbling off the bathroom wall. Toilet required two flushes to clear everything. Worst hotel/motel I've stayed at that I can remember.
