Hampton Inn Fort Myers Downtown

Rooms are spacious, clean and attractive. But the pool has been closed for a year and the breakfast are terrible— nothing but junk food.

New hotel that opened 7 months ago. Everything is new and clean. The only negative was the ice machine was only on the 3rd floor. The ice machine on the 1st floor was OUT of Order and the ice machine on 4th floor was still not installed.

Great facilities, cost effective having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Loved the showers and very comfortable bed. Wish the pool was better. It's fairly small and too close to the parking lot for comfort.

We stayed here for fee days for tattoo convention. The lady front desk in morning is extra ordinary friendly. She make sure we enjoy our stay. Parking is good for big van like us. Pool is still not working. Ice machine is not working in 4th floor. I will stay here again because of the friendly staff and easy parking.

Had a great time. One elevator was out all week which was a little cumbersome. Good clean and quiet room. Friendly personnel.

Linen was dirty. Looks like the bed wasn’t changed. When I asked to have linen change in was told house keeping was leaving. Very humid in the room.

Overall it was a good hotel. I would rate it excellent if the water pressure in shower was not terribly low.

The property is modern, attractive, and convenient to local attractions. It is close to a busy road and noise from vehicles and a very loud AC unit prevented a good night's sleep. The water pressure in our 4th-floor shower was low and the water not hot enough.

Very new Hotel so everything was nice and clean. Our only complaint was that there wasn't any hot water in the shower - only barely warm.

I had a king size bed with twin pillows, uncomfortable pillows bed was hard. Shower was dirty and the bottles of lotion , etc were empty

the hot/cold pipes for the shower in my room are reversed. You get hold from cold and cold for hot. Room 312.

Nice location close to downtown. Fabulous front desk staff member during the evening. We did wake to a cockroach on our bathroom floor. But it felt clean otherwise.

I had no HOT water. It was lukewarm. Room 329.

Noise off Cleveland was horrific! Motorcycles and load exhaust from cars all night Would not recommend this property without earplugs.

Excellent comfort and spacious rooms. Stayed there for two nights and had everything within hand nearby. Friendly staff who provided great service.

The hotel was super clean. The staff was super friendly. The bed was too hard and the pillows need to be fluffier. Some Breakfast items were meeting during the last hour.

Nice 3 night experience friendly hard working staff. The a/c unit had a constant clicking sound, a little annoying when trying to sleep but we got used to it.

Everything was amazing except for the bed ...it was like concrete firm.

Easy check in, huge room

The staff was friendly and helpful at check in and always said hello when I was coming and going. I booked a king room, it was spacious, well appointed and clean. The bathroom is large and well lit. It was easy to pick up a snack to take to my room when I came in at night and the breakfast setup was perfect with waffle irons omelettes cereal and coffe and juice. 10/10!!!

I called the hotel to request my receipt and was attended by a very rude person that told me to go through Expedia and hung up.

The hotel was excellent except for their housekeeping policies of maid service every other day on my 5 night business stay. I was working 10-12 hour days and the last thing I wanted to return was a bed that needed to be made, trash to empty, and used towels. After the first day of no sevice I asked the front desk for daily service, with no need to change sheets. They noted my request, somewhat apathetically, but did not honor it. I paid the same each night as I would have for a single night and expected the same daily service. I stay in hotels over 100 nights per year on business, usually one night per hotel, and I was very disappointed with this stay.

Room and breakfast as clean and well outfitted. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Shower was plumbed backward, hot was cold, cold hot. Water pressure kept cutting in and out. Body wash would not sud or clean. Lotion was empty. However- front office staff woman was very rude and unfriendly. Every thing was a huge imposition for her. We needed to combine 2 separate reservations so we could make it easier on everyone and stay in the same room. She wanted to see my drivers license and then actually flung it back at me and sad no she needed to see “Jo’s license “. I said my name is Jo and she asked to look at my license again. She was incredulous and asked my husband for his id. I explained again that both reservations were in my name (Jo). She huffed and demanded that I verify the last name on my license. I just wrote it off to her being clueless about the name Jo. I later found out that my group had tried to get her to call my room. She refused because she said the had no one with my name staying. I’m a Hilton honors member for 20 years. Worst front desk experience ever. She needs some extra training.

Efficient and professional staff. Spacious and clean room. Prior to arriving, I called several times and the phone was answered promptly by helpful and knowledgeable staff.

New gal at the front desk wasn’t very pleasant. Establishment didn’t have an bandaids. Felt that was unacceptable. Cut my foot badly. I feel they should get rid the new hire.

The staff at this Hampton Inn were absolutely stellar. I can't say enough about how kind they were.

Asked 5 different times over two days for a roll away bed and was given a different excuse every time. 1. We don’t always see the requests when bookings are made, but we will get you one. 2. We don’t have one available right now. 3. They are all dirty and need to be cleaned but will get you one later today. 4. I’m not sure if we even have roll away beds at this facility. 5. We only have the frames for roll away beds, but no mattresses. I can check to see if we have an air mattress for you. At this point after two days and being lied to multiple times, I gave up. It was made clear in the booking and at check in that a roll away was needed. Pathetic to pay over $300 a night and then have someone sleep on the floor!

Great location, amazing customer service, awesome breakfast and very clean hotel. Over all a great stay with all the positive vibes. Best part was the customer service. All the crew were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Hard to find no sign. Noisey by pool.pool cold.

The breakfast was not good, items missing - no butter and none available for the 2 mornings we were there, no pastries either morning. The pictures of the pool were misleading, there were no chairs around the pool and the highway was very loud!

Hotel seemed brand new in all regards. Front desk person was pleasant and seemed happy to be there. Free breakfast was good and convenient. Easy 8 - 10 minute walk to downtown Ft Myers.

This is my go to hotel when I am in town for work. Great location & walkable to Downtown.

There is no sign on the property which makes it hard to find initially

Parking was very easy and secure.. check in was nice and easy . The ladies at the front all week were super sweet. The hotel is so clean, everything is new, super comfortable beds and pillows… great location right next to downtown .

This is our second stay there. Will be choosing another hotel next trip. The noise of the highway especially by the pool is too much and breakfast was the same everyday ! It wasn’t very good. Staff was friendly and helpful , room was clean

Breakfast selections were lacking and they did not have coffee the first morning i was there and no plates the next.

The Hampton Inn is more run down than others I’ve stayed at. Nothing explicit to be negative about, just felt less than others. The breakfast was not up to Hampton standards., lacked options, waffle maker didn’t work. The cereal wasn’t labeled and didn’t look like any cerise I recognized. Etc. just a bunch of little things.

Excellent hotel and close to everything we needed to go. Perfect location! Free parking and beds are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great and plenty. Would recommended to future travelers.

The hotel and front desk employees was excellent! The hotel and rooms were clean, centrally located for our needs, nice restaurants near by. The only issue was the breakfast buffet. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and the hotel always provided an excellent morning buffet. This particular hotel was lacking. No eggs, banana's or yogurt. Too many carbs and not enough protein.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and the rooms had everything we needed. Thank you for a great mini getaway.
