Always a good hotel for a stopover. Going through re-furbishment so a minor issue arose which was quickly sorted. Would always recommend others to use this hotel. A return of the 0700 airport shuttle bus would be useful as the first at 0900 is not a lot of use on many long hauls.

Wir haben das Hotel für zwei Nächte nahe Flughafen gebucht. Leider hat der Flughafen-Shuttleservice nicht funktioniert. Bei der Anreise gab es keine Information zum Ort der Abholung. Bei der Abreise (Late Check out) fuhr der Shuttle über die Mittagszeit nicht, erst ab 5 pm :(

A friendly hotel. Spacious room, with a very comfortable bed and large TV, that had plenty of channels. Offers free shuttle to and from the airport. The use of the free Civil Service Shuttle from across the road, that takes you to the MRT at Prasir Ris is a great bonus. Has a gym and two lovely swimming pools, one on the rooftop and one in the gardens on the ground floor.

Very nice room and comfortable bed. The shuttle times need to be looked at because there is no shuttle from 12:30 to 6:15pm. If you do not want to wait use GRAB (like UBER) to get transportation to the hotel. The cost is very reasonable. We used a large van for $30. Across the street you can find all different types of food which is Changi Village Hawker Center, a UNESCO center.

Needed a room for a one night stopover in Singapore and the Village Hotel Changi was a great option. It was 20 minutes from the airport, with a free shuttle service from the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable; the staff was gracious and helpful. It was a 20 minute taxi ride to Gardens on the Bay in the city. Added bonus was the rooftop swimming pool with views of the bay. And the price was quite reasonable,

Slightly older hotel, close as the crow flies to the airport but actually a 10 km taxi/ Grab away. Both pools are nice, gym is very good, dining options along the street and in the hawker centre excellent.

I like the hotel as it can be a quiet getaway for reflection. The room is nice and clean, well maintained after the renovation. Though toilet is a bit dated with bath tub. But then it's good for soaking. Staff are nice, check in very cordial and smooth. Housekeeping is observant and thorough. Overall very nice experience.

The property has seen better days, the hallways smelled of cigarettes, the elevators didn't always work, paint was peeling. But the shower was good and the little Changi Village hawker center was charming. And you're 5min walk from the beach. Could be worse!

The staff were helpful, though everything else was quite average. I checked in and there was hair all over the bed and my bathroom rubbish bin had rubbish in there. They moved my room and said that they did a thorough check of the room, though when I lifted the pillows there were hairs everywhere. I didn’t notify them again as I had just arrived from a long flight and it was 1am but I didn’t feel very clean in the room and it was not ideal

After arriving at 3am, the front desk couldnt find our booking, then offered a single room - after paying for a twin room. We were told no bottled water, you can drink from the tap, so had to walk to convenience store, along with other guests who checked in same time. There was mould throughout the bathroom, power points not sitting flush with the wall, which I received a shock from when trying to charge my phone. We then had a maintenance person knocked on our door, advising that he needed to spray the room for pests. Not something any guest wants to hear. Overall this hotel is in very poor condition and has not been maintained to an acceptable level for guests.

Staff super friendly making up for a property in deteriorating condition, but barely. The property feels like a freezer (lobby, rooms) with limited ability to set the thermostat. The rooms are poorly furnished, even falling apart. The outside appearance of the building looks dirty, moldy and a poor reflection of what it used to be. No maintenance seems to be the policy of this management. Breakfast OK but dining room also uninviting.

The wifi connection was almost non existent in the room. Did receive notification in the room that it was being upgraded though.. But would expect it to have proper backup. Food wise is good as there are nice eateries within the walking distance. Rooms a bit dated and could use some refresh.

Property could use some updating. Bed was comfortable but shower/bath is high and would be very difficult for some people to use safely. Restaurant upstairs had 5 things on the menu and very overpriced drinks, ice was dirty and drink was terrible. Cost 40$ for 2 drinks.

We had a room in the 7 floor. It was very noise from the mechanical equipment on the roof above us. Very frustrating. The light switch from the bath room did not work correctly. Asked to have it fixed but the repair did not last more then one operation of the switch. The cost of food for the buffet for breakfast or dinner was outrageous. And the cost for a drink at the bar was also outrageous.

The hotel is a little rundown and there are signs of damp and crumbling walls. The room was spacious but dated and the furnishings were tired and in need of replacement. However for us a night layover stop with a bed and shower it was perfectly fine. The free airport shuttle was also excellent and easy. Check-in was speedy and easy and the staff were very helpful and kind. Im not sure id take a longer stay but to be fair i did not see a great deal in the time i was there so maybe a little harsh.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were just wonderful and extremely helpful. The restaurant food including breakfast was of high quality with ample serving size. A special thanks to Amos who was at front desk when we arrived early and did everything to make us comfortable. We were also able to check in a little early which was super convenient for us. One of the reason I booked the hotel was for the shuttle service. There is no shuttle service from 12pm (noon) to 5 pm. Also the morning shuttle is very limited you have to book the service the day before. Communication with the hotel is really bad. Staff does not show empathy with the guest

According to the booking time, we were told that check in was at 2pm. Upon our arrival at the hotel, the room was not ready and we were asked to wait until 2.45pm before the rooms could be ready. We were not offered any form of compensation for this inconvenience. The service used to be top notch when I previously stayed at the hotel but things must’ve changed. It does not have the same charm/attraction as it did before.

There is a wonderful front office staff called Aladdin. Aladdin was very helpful, he explained very clearly how to get around the area for shopping malls, meals, taxi service etc. Aladdin is what a front office staff makes any hotel a perfect place to stay in. I wish there were more Aladdins in front office position in other parts of the world. The airport shuttle was very good and quite easy to find. The rooms were clean and the overall staff were very helpful and friendly.

Check in was superb. Navina was excellent and helped with our overall experience. Hotel was pristine although some of the exterior looks as though a bit of a face lift is needed. Room was fairly basic but very clean. Breakfast was fine. Lots of places locally to eat. Club lounge facilities and staff were good.

The stay is the worst of my previous stays in the same hotel. I am very disappointed with the lack of prompt service when the TV signal was down. There is no information sheet inside the room for me to call the front desk or housekeeping to report the fault. I have to randomly called different numbers and finally got to speak to someone at the front desk. I waited for 45mins in the room, but no one turned up. Thereafter, after repeated calls to '0' that rang many times without any answer, that a technician finally arrived at the room to fix the TV signal. No word of apology was even given by any staff member at all for the inconvenience caused that dampen by stay.

We wanted to stay overnight near the airport and this was cheaper than the airport hotels and next to a nice park and beach. Although it is next to the runway it does take at least 20 minutes in a taxi to drive round the perimeter of the airport. They are building an extension to the MRT (metro) which makes it slower. Older style hotel but pleasant room with good facilities and local restaurants nearby. It has its own restaurant on the roof which looked good but was closed for a private function.

I enjoy the location of this hotel near the Changi Point beach and hawker centre. The hotel is also near to the airport and is quiet compared to the hotels around the Singapore River or Orchard Rd. Currently there is a lot of construction on Loyang Ave although the buses are passing through.
