Nice hotel in an area that is walkable to much of central Singapore. Raffles hotel, Chijmes (bars and restaurants), and Raffle City Mall are across the street and MRT 2 min walk. Updated gym is Nicely equipped as is the outdoor pool.

There’s no ventilation at all. The place is old with worn-out carpet that smells bad. If you have allergies, I don’t recommend it. The bathroom also smells like sewage.

First night we arrived at around 12mn, our flight was delayed. At reception the room number was not clearly written on the key packet, had to return to reception twice to get the room number. In the room there was only one bed I had requested two beds, I had made my booking many months ago. The bed sheets were all stained. There was water which had leaked through from the shower(I am assuming it was from the shower)all over the toilet floor. Requested take away breakfast as we had an early flight, had paid for breakfast, Did not get it. I did give reception 2 days notice the need for a take away breakfast.

Ich musste 2 Zimmer auswechseln und dennoch stanken in den höheren Etagen die Zimmer nach Schimmel. Unglaublich... nachts war es unausstehlich. Noch mehr Schimmelgestank kam von der Klimaanlage. Das Personal war aber bemüht und sehr nett in alleb belangen.

The hotel has two building, I staied in old building, staffs are very friendly, The bed and pillows are both very comfortable to sleep on. And hotel has excellent location. But my room is old and some equiments are malfunction, espcially two plug-in have no electricity to charge.That is very important to travelers.

Foi uma decepção pela qualidade da rede. O chuveiro não funcionava direito, tinha pouca água e ficava frio no meio do banho. O quarto era barulhento, pois dava para ouvir todo o maquinario dos elevadores e o barulho dos outros hóspedes. O número de tomadas era muito limitado. Todos esses pontos foram indicados pessoalmente para a recepção que somente disse "sorry" e não apresentou qualquer solução ou permitiu a troca de quarto. Não recomendaria esse hotel, já que existem inúmeras opções melhores na região.

The hotel is nice, but compared to other Carlton in other cities as well as other hotels in Singapore, it feels a bit outdated and old. We were here during Chinese new year, but still 1000 dollars, for 4 nights didn't seem worth it. Smal pool, ok rooms, nothing special. Very friendly and helpful staff and amazing breakfast. though

Overall I enjoyed my stay with some exceptions. The Reception staff are in much need of some extra training on providing better quality customer care and service. The first experience a Guest encounters is with the reception staff. It is imperative that they are well prepared to deal and handle their duties and responsibilities appropriately and with the utmost professionalism, integrity and respect. I was disappointed and found the 2 female reception staff to be dismissive and rude. During my check in with Sharmilah and another lady who was nonchalant about my request to checkout just an hour later. She and another employee weren’t bothered to fulfil my request Mind you I had spent 9 days at this hotel. Unsatisfactory experience with the reception staff. Next the Concierge staff were wonderful and extremely helpful and very friendly. Thank you and well done Concierge staff! Keep up the great work. A special thanks to Siva abd Viji who were always ready to help make everything better. Secondly, a big thank you to the Housekeeping staff who were so efficient and responsively helpful whenever I needed something. Thank you for your service. The Cafe staff member Raziah was rude and unhelpful when I told him that the pie I was served was not hot enough. Oh we followed the settings. So, what does that mean, that if someone wants something a little hotter than it’s not possible? Ridiculous attitude. Kindly provide better training for better customer service and care.

We had a wonderful stay at the Carlton Hotel Singapore. We were pleasantly upgraded and offered an early check-in, which made our arrival so smooth. The staff were warm and accommodating, even allowing a late check-out and the use of luggage storage and shower facilities later in the afternoon after check-out — a rare and thoughtful gesture. Highly recommended for both comfort and service!

Location, location, location Fabulous hotel right I the middle of the city. Next door to Raffles and at one end of Orchard Road. There is a massive Mall (Raffles City) opposite where you can buy anything that you may need. It’s within five minutes of the underground system and less than a fifteen minute stroll to all the major attractions. The hotel Itself is very clean and modern with everything that you need to make your stay comfortable. The staff were amazing. Leah even recommended a curry house in the suburbs was was wonderful. He made sure to chat with us whenever he saw us and made us feel Even more welcomed. We will stay at the Carlton if we’re ever back in Singapore. Why stay anywhere else when it has everything you need.

Yes! the breakfast selection was fresh sometimes. Hash browns cold, the bacon was too well cooked - hard. Tea cups too small meaning more trips to the bar for coffee. many personnel touching the food with their hands - need signs informing people about the use of tongs.

The only negative we had was in relation to not being able to get food in the bar after 11pm after the F1. Given that it was such a busy weekend and night racing I think food should have been an option as the bar was open very late other than that it was outstanding.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at during my travels! The location is excellent, with a mall right across the street, and the hotel is super clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was very spacious, and I really loved the decoration and overall design. It’s mainly a business hotel, but I stayed here for a holiday and honestly really enjoyed my experience. There’s also a 24-hour 7-Eleven just a 5-minute walk away, which was super convenient. Overall, I think this hotel offers one of the best quality-price balances in Singapore. I would definitely stay here again!
