Fantastic stay! Property is a bit older however is well maintained. Breakfast buffet options were great. Kids loved the pool! Many great food locations and shopping nearby! The new subway MTR station Marine Parade makes this hotel a great value to book because of how easy it makes it to get around!

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our trip and were glad we chose this hotel. Having visited Singapore several times we wanted to stay in a more traditional and authentic neighbourhood. The surrounding area has some interesting old buildings and there are many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops etc. many of which are good value. We were lucky enough to be offered an upgrade on our room. It was comfortable with huge bed and lots of space. Bathroom was also large with awesome walk in shower. Staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small pool on the rooftop which was perfect for relaxing post sight seeing, and most of the time we had it to ourselves.

Excellent! Save for needing a gym equiment refresh, everything else about our stay was top tier. The staff go above and beyond. They even helped me track down my phone that I accidentally left in a taxi one night. Great proximity to shopping, lots of food options, walking trails along the bay, bus terminals and an MRT station right outside. We will be back!

Great hotel - not near the city centre (but very handy for the airport) however it is so easy to get about in Singapore that is not an issue. The staff are great and breakfast is really good. Nice refreshing pool and a small but well equipped gym. Stayed here 3 times and cannot fault any of our stays. Local Katong streets give you a nice taste of the more traditional side of Singapore.

The hotel is old but redone. Pool and patio quite nice. Little cafes and grocery stops on ground floor of hotel. Very close to transit both underground and bus. Underground system takes you everywhere. The hotel smelled very musty and despite days of air conditioning the room smell did not clear.

Clean, great staff, reasonably priced. Slightly confusing double entrance situation. Although dated the hotel is maintained to a high standard and was clean. Strong smell of mould in some areas (stairwells etc) but that is common in singapore

The carpet throughout the hotel was in complete disrepair, the air conditioning in our room was very ineffective, there was an odor of mold in our room, the lounge chair in the room was more appropriate for a kitchen table and was very uncomfortable, there was loud construction going on outside of the room, we had to call down to the front desk 3 times to get them to fix the broken safe, etc. Overall, we had a very negative experience and I would certainly not return not recommend the hotel to a friend of family member.

We initially encountered more than 10 ants on the table and in the drawers. After moving to another room, we noticed a damp odor as soon as we stepped off the elevator. There were yellow mold spots in the bathroom corners, and the ventilation was weak. After showering, the room felt damp, and the floor showed signs of moisture. One day, when trying to open the bathroom window for ventilation, cigarette smoke from elsewhere drifted in. The air conditioning seemed to lack a dehumidifying function, leaving the bed sheets and blankets feeling damp. The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from the MRT TE26, and there are many restaurants on the other side of the hotel. There's also a FairPrice supermarket on the first floor, which is very convenient. However, the hotel is a bit far from the city center. The breakfast options were not many, but they were decent, with slight variations over the three days we stayed. We wouldn’t revisit here, mainly due to the dampness in the room and the high price that doesn't justify the value.

Great location, really big rooms, and well located in the centre of Katong. The new MRT state is just across the road which is super efficient. My only two areas of contention are the amount of plastic toiletries still being provided and the smell of smoke on floor 6. Otherwise I recommend this hotel.

Pro: - great location - Spacious rooms - Well lit - Good service, though we did not get our rooms on time and had to wait 1 hour in the perenakan lounge , the staff YEO was very friendly to kid and welcoming. We appreciate that. He was super kind and probably the only good thing about our stay Con: - this hotel is really NOT for anyone who prioritise quietness and tranquility, the sound proof of rooms is terrible. We were on the 8F interconnecting rooms and can hear noise throughout our stay from 9F and also rooms from the same floor, the closing of hotel room doors of adjacent rooms were loud and audible. Can totally wake you up from dreams (we did not complain because we needed the interconnecting room and also it was an infrastructure issue to be able to hear loud sound from left right and centre) - Tried to call 0 for reception to make the room but the line is always busy - As mentioned above on 27 Dec we arrived 1345 and check in the as 2pm. However the rooms were only ready at 1510 In short, if u are always out and sound doesn’t bother you, the location is great and room is spacious. But if you want quiet rest then please avoid at all circumstances

生まれて初めてうーん、どう評価したら良いのだろう？　とても清潔で、従業員はフレンドリーでかつきちんとしていて。車で言えば、優良ディーラーでピッカピカに整備されたパッソ、見たいな感じ？例えば、バスタブなし、ウォシュレットなし、エアコンは激効きかオフの二択、入り口のドアが二重ロックでない、部屋を出ると、自動でドアが閉まらない（ロックが出っ放し）、朝ごはんのビュッフェが微妙に美味しくない、ホテルのエレベーターは外に出れない（2Fでロビーの外に出るとモールのはじに出る）、フロントのお姉さんの後ろにはポテチやコーラが散乱すら控え室が丸見えなど。でも、従業員教育は本当に良くできていて、ベイサンズあたりの従業員よりは全然クリスプに反応して、こちらの意図を理解する。設備にわがままを言わない人、車に装備を求めない人には最高のホテルです。

Looks like the hotel has been renovated and overall the condition is good, but you can tell if you look close at the details, like the window to the balcony. I'm not sure if it is the same for all hotels in Singapore (because of the humidity) or just this one, but if we turn the room temperature up, we'll see condensation on mirrors and the FLOOR!! Finally the wife was very slow: down was 10 Mbps and up was 11.3 Mbps.

Great location with close proximity to lots of shopping, food, transportation hubs and walking trails along the bay. Staff were top tier and helped me track down my lost phone that got left in a cab one evening. Exceeded our expectations and were very communicative weeks before our arrival. We will be back!

I’ve been staying at this hotel for a number of years now and have seen standards and service levels steadily decline. It’s not terrible but certainly not at previous levels, which is disappointing. I needed to have a robust conservation with the clerk to get a receipt/invoice copy upon check out for some reason.

From before arrival, arrival and check-in, our experience was simply amazing. The hotel kept our luggage until our room was ready and they even upgraded us to a corner suite that was simply lovely! We had the Peranakan Club package which included nightly snacks and drinks. The Peranakan Club also offered cold drinks during the day time. Leyla at the front desk was always so great to us! But even better was Chandran in concierge and the Peranakan Club. Such a great guy, very helpful and kind! Our breakfasts were simply amazing and that was also included in our room stay package. Being directly over shops and just a short walk from the metro station was definitely a perk! We walked to the waterfront as well as a huge shopping complex before joining our cruise back to the U.S. If we have cause to visit Singapore again, you had better believe we will stay here!

I missed my check in day, checked in a day late and was upgraded to the “Executive Suite” for no extra charge instead of having my reservation cancelled. Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. For people traveling they spoke good English and were easy to converse with. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a glass cooktop, sink, mini fridge, a combined clothes washer and dryer (in unit), kitchen table and a microwave. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was excellent and had great water pressure. The AC worked great and even on these hot days it was very comfortable inside.

Arrived late on Friday evening for 1 night ans had super fast and friendly check in with Aniqua. As it was our anniversary and birthday through the kindness of Aniqua and his manager we were given an upgrade to a suite. The suite was spacious and comfortable and in a corner so it was a nice big balcony. Conveniently located between city and the airport it made it easy to go to hawker markets and comfortably get to the airport in about 12 mins. The only thing I could suggest is to fix the Toto Japanese automated toilet. The functions other than flush weren’t working. A small mall with coffee shop, grocery, laundry and massage is attached. It’s not the fanciest hotel we’ve stayed in but great value for money, exceptional service we would definitely stay again and recommended to others.

Perfect location and very nice accommodations for a business trip or a tourist visit. Easy access to transport with a subway station just a few steps away. Very nice part of town with a diverse range of options for food, shopping and entertainment. Room and familities are comfortable and offer a nice view of the city and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Well located near to public transport, shops and eateries. Transport is not pricey. Rooms are spacious with balconies. Breakfast could have more variety or changes because we stayed 8 nights and ended up eating the same breakfast everyday!

Peranakan Club room was very spacious and quiet. Club food, drinks and atmosphere were very good. Well done to Chandran and Ben! Only downside was the (main) breakfast room was very chaotic, noisy and often missing food, drink and glasses. The staff in the room were run off their feet but they were very obliging and friendly.

Great breakfast options on the 4th floor and comfortable happy hour at the club lounge on the 6th floor. Hotel staff including Vignes the concierge manager, the reception staff, the lounge staff, the breakfast staff, the housekeeping staff were fantastic and excellent. I think access for guests to a business center would add value and enhance the stay for guests.
