Iberostar Waves Founty Beach All Inclusive

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem Hotel, jedoch gab es ein paar Sachen die uns gestört haben. Der Check-In war nicht so organisiert, man hatte uns vergessen die All-Inclusive Bänder zu geben und wurden sehr unpersönlich empfangen. Das Essen im Hotel ist lecker aber oftmals schon kalt und es gibt jeden Tag das selbe Buffet. Am Pool gibt es eine kleine Bar, wo man sich selbst Getränke holen kann, die jedoch um 5 Uhr abends schließt. (Auch bei gutem Wetter) Die Animation lässt zu wünschen übrig, abends gibt es jeden Tag um 21:50 eine Show für 30 Minuten. Wir haben diese meist nach 5 Minuten verlassen. Die Musikqualität war grauenvoll. Zudem gibt es in dem Hotel viele Kinder die auch Abends noch bei der Animation rumturnen. Die Sauberkeit hätte ebenfalls ein wenig besser sein können. Wir hatten noch fremde Haare auf dem Boden und das Waschbecken war ebenfalls dreckig. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt an der Promenade mit eigenem Strand. Das Hotel ist auch nachts bewacht und man wird meist von einem sehr netten Mann und seiner Katze von der Security begrüßt!

Nice beachfront location on Agadir's superb beach and 6km and very wide boardwalk (great for running, cycling, walking). Friendly and helpful staff but not super well organised. 3.5/5 as facilities are getting a little tired. Main issue with service relating to queuing at bars, temperamental experience with self service drinks areas. Poor relaying of tables in the restaurant, a much worse experience if dining at the second sitting. Good service and conversation from Mostafa &Team (pool bar), Hassan & Noradene (pop up/lobby bar) and Yassine (Guest Relations). Entertainment team were friendly and encouraged participation without pestering.

Couldn't have asked for more. This was a 4 day get away to recharge the batteries after a long and busy year. If I have one complaint it is that there are no facilities at the heated outdoor pool for guests who have mobility issues. I suffered damage to my knee and leg after slipping on the ladder style steps. My knee was already suffering, but this slip has made it worse. I did see that there were steps into the unheated pool, so why not the same facilities for the heated one?

Excellent stay, positive - clean, safe, some good staff. Negatives, air conditioning room doesn’t work, small gym, check process is long.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, there were some hiccups in the beginning with check in and other issues. But all in all it was a good place to stay and the staff were very welcoming. We enjoyed the food very much, plenty of choices for everyone. There's 4 choices of pools, the small baby pool was heated although i don't think its always the same as the 2nd time we went in it was alot colder. The smaller pool facing towards the sea was also heated but weirdly it was very deep so we didnt get to enjoy it as we were with the little one. And theres also a indoor pool which was heated which the public can use at a certain time which was very helpful.

Improve cleaning of rooms and diversity/profesionalism of sport/leisure activities (beach volley and surf should be better implemented)

My stay was wonderful. Everything from the room, food, amenities, staff and beach was great. Food was delicious, a wide variety and well displayed. I had a relaxing time. Security was excellent and not intrusive in any way. Pools were lovely and it was perfect having a heated one as the weather was chilly at times. (The inside pool is only accessible to guests between 12 and 2 p.m) It would have been helpful to know about the timings of access to the outside pools, the towel pool hut or when any entertainment that was going on around the hotel. It was not displayed anywhere and I was not made aware of any timings or where things were being held particularly for the evenings. All in all a brilliant stay. Thank you very much.

Really lovely time at this hotel. Staff are super friendly from check in to check out. Lots of variety of food - we always found something to eat. Indoor pool lovely and warm but sauna is paid, not complimentary. Drinks available all day, some self serve and others ordered by the bars. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Travelled as a family of 4 adults, 3 older teens and 2 children and we all had a great time. All of the staff we friendly and attentive throughout our stay, the pool areas are clean and there's plenty of loungers. There's also a nice indoor pool in the spa area that is free to use with children between 12 and 2 each day. Our 7 year old attended the kids club a few times and the staff were excellent with a variety of activities each day. Food could be a little repetitive however there were lots of meat and vegetarian choices and all of it was cooked perfectly. I cant fault anything about our stay ao highly recommended it!

L’Iberostar Founty Beach est un des meilleurs hôtels que nous avons fréquenté. Tout y est parfait. D’une propreté remarquable et le personnel est très accueillant. Allez y sans hésiter.

Chambre magnifique ! Par contre sèche cheveux pas très efficace pour un 4 étoiles et douche mal conçu avec l écoulement donc inondation chaque soir Mais sinon c était top super emplacement face a la mer et piscine magnifique et qualité des repas très bonne . Par contre il y a énormément de monde donc si vous’ aimez pas le bruit il faut faire un autre choix c est un 470 chambres .

Die Unterkunft hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen. Das Zimmer roch nach Urin, die Einrichtung war spartanisch, und das Publikum im Hotel war nicht einem Viersternehotel entsprechend. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Family of four with two adults and two children under 8. The location on the beach front was stunning. The beach and promenade was very pleasant and felt reay safe. The hotel itself is immaculate and the staff team are fantastic in every aspect of the hotel. There is a very relaxed vibe. The family room was very large and impressive. We had a pool view and were very close to the heart of the hotel which meant there was some noise from the evening entertainment, which may disturb smaller childrens sleep at night. The food was really excellent and as a family we ate well for the week. The pool was great the only improvement would be to have a pool that graduates in depth as the two large pools are very deep. The childs pool is heated and perfect for little ones. We really had a fabulous time at this hotel and the value for money was superb. We will return to the property in the future as we enjoyed it so much.

Die Zimmer waren immer sehr sauber und groß genug. Das Essen war gut, man hatte viel Auswahl auch typisches Landesküche. Im Speiseraum war es leider immer sehr laut aber ok. Die Pools waren sauber. Essen draussen an der Polar war auch gut. Privater Stranbereich.schön. Leider sind in der Umgebung viele Baustellen, da viel neu gemacht wird in Agadir. Im Hotel selbst bekommt man allerdings nicht viel davon mit. Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder

The resort itself was beautiful. Great location and amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean, gorgeous sunsets. The food was wonderful the pools were well kept and entertaining. The resort could offer more activities and the condition of the bathroom in the rooms could be improved regarding cleanliness of grout areas. Many more positives then negatives and we would stay again for sure.

Tout était parfait seul point faible on ne captais pas la wifi dans la chambre 2240!!! Je l’ai signalé plusieurs fois mais le personnel n’y ai pas parvenu pour la réparer !!

Its a regular Iberostar all-inclusive at one end of the Agadir beach. Not close to the busy part of the beach, but right on the beach - and since there is everything you need inside the resort itself, its a good option. Food quality is decent, variety is big. No complaints on the variety - icecream stations were always busy and you had to wait. The pools were too cold to enjoy when we stayed, although there were children who were in the water. Take an oceanview room and the view is worth it. There are a couple of nightclubs close by if you want to party late, and the town isn't too far, taxis waiting anytime you need one. Overall - I would stay here again.

Geweldig hotel, mooi, schoon, licht, heerlijk eten en naast de vaste gerechten ook veel afwisseling. Heerlijk zwembad waarvan een verwarmd. Veel keus in de drankjes en de frisdrank is van A merken. Vriendelijk personeel Een paar puntjes waar verbetering ligt, *Bedden zijn erg hard (dat is in heel Marokko zo maar misschien oplossen met een topper dat hadden ze in een ander hotel gedaan) *Het entertainment in de zaal beneden was vroeger (zijn hier 4 jaar geleden geweest) leuker en afwisselender * Een kids club voor oudere kinderen zou leuk zijn. * Voor ons belangrijkste punt, de airco’s werken niet tot aan 1 mei en dat was net de dag waarop wij weggaan. Op sommige kamers (we waren met meerdere personen dus meerdere kamers) was het wel te doen met de balkon deuren open maar op andere kamers kwam er geen windje naar binnen en bleef het erg warm. Bovendien ligt er een trouwzaal tegenover het hotel en dat gaat gepaard met veel lawaai als je met open balkon deuren slaapt

Very friendly staff. The hotel grounds are well maintained and cleaned. Thought the food was pretty decent. Pool and sun lounger area was good. The beach was nice and I liked the long promenade for walks and running. Our room looked a little tired but we only used it to sleep in as we were outside all day.

On arrival we had to change cash to get pool towels as they would not take a deposit on a credit card. We were not advised about that. Booked 2 rooms as a family and were put on opposite sides of complex. After 1st day room with children was overrun with ants. They were cleaned but not completely. Took another 2 days to change room. Cocktails not good and very limited. Said whiskey cream on available list of drinks but they didn't have any. They did get in Baileys which you had to pay extra for though. Wine available was of a very poor quality. Air con not working in family room. No shampoo in family room. Evening entertainment same every night. Same 5 dancers dancing to music. No variety. Food good. Nothing special though for Xmas day dinner.

Just got back from this stay. Hope my review helps people. Firstly the hotel is about 30 mins from the airport via taxi the cost is 200 dirhams (approx £17). The location is beautiful situated on the beach front. Rooms are spacious and clean, lovely bathroom, staff are constantly cleaning so the hotel is always very clean, all toilets clean, the pools, loungers, hallways are always spotless. Only 3 downsides for me. Firstly there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, you can only get Wi-Fi at the reception. Secondly the food was okay, but just okay, could definitely be improved. If you were staying more than 3/4 nights you’d get bored and lastly the wasn’t really any entertainment, just the same guy singing the same songs (quite badly) on the main terrace. Maybe because I went in January and may be different in school holidays. But apart from them small faults the holiday was brilliant. I would recommend going on the cable cars up to the mountain, great views. I also did quad biking, these can be booked from in the hotel. I paid 650 dirhams for Quad Biking (around £55). I would say this holiday is perfect for a 3/4 night get away if you want to chill by the loungers, read a book and get a tan. I would return again. Also January is very cheap and still pretty hot (I’ve got a nice tan). Enjoy Agadir!

L'espace piscine est très beau et les animateurs toujours à fond ! Préférez la piscine à débordement coté hôtel - plus froide mais beaucoup plus calme que celle coté plage) Très grande salle de restaurant avec des buffets variés, mais assez bruyante à l'heure du repas... Allez au fond et vous serez au calme Dans l'ensemble, très bon hôtel avec un rapport qualité/prix très correcte pour Agadir

The staff were all amazing. Calling out certain names would be unfair as it’s a fantastic team effort from the check in team, cleaning staff, dinning team and the entertainers for the kids. It was a wonderful stay. Not expecting anything, I was left wanting to stay here again. I previously stayed at Tikida Palace which was a 5 star hotel. However, this hotel even though 4 star was amazing and where I will stay aim to again.

Check in sans explication aucune organisation on vous parque dans un salon avec un stylo et une fiche à remplir puis plus rien aucune information sur la remise des clés. Accueil indigne d un 4*. Vu le prix le coffre dans la chambre pourrait etre gratuit . Très bruyant beaucoup d enfants sans parents qui hurlent dans le restaurant qui se roulent parterre. Pour des vacances tranquille à fuir

Every member of staff from beginning to end were friendly and kind and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere and super attentive and accommodating. Lots of people visiting to go play golf or surf. Small outdoor children’s pool was lovely and warm, other outdoor pools were much cooler (one adult heated but still fairly cool) but very deep. Bring inflatables if not confident with swimming! Caught some wonderful weather with highs of 31 degrees. Food great and brilliant entertainment. Only one thing, the children disco could be a bit more engaging with lights etc but again kind staff making the effort made it special enough. Thanks all!

Iberostar Founty Beach er et særdeles fint hotell, men det som gjorde oppholdet så bra var de ansatte. Alle er så vennlige, hjelpsomme og utrolig service minded. Dette er et all inclusive hotell og verdt hver eneste krone-helt nydelig mat. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake og anbefaler dette på det varmeste.

The staff is just so unfriendly ! Especially at the front desk- super rude! The dipping is meh! Not really any shopping to do. The food is soooo bad, the sodas were flat no gas, the same food all meals just changed up. The room wasn't super clean the sheets were stained. You have to pay to get pool towels, The cocktails are not drinkable, there is nothing to do in the evenings except stand around a full lobby. They advertise restaurants etc but they are booked out so we couldn't go. The location is nice, on the beach the pool are gorgeous at night it's very nicely decorated and lit up. We were staying there for the food and drinks but both those sucked and with the not warm welcome we received it was a bad experience. Oh and one elevator only super far away so if you're on the ground floor like us? You needed to walk a lot to use the elevator with a stroller. We will not be coming back to this hotel plenty of other options to look into

Nice location on Agadir beach, very clean room, top service from all the personal in the hotel. Best animation team. I miss the beautiful smile of the chef, who made the best omelette every morning, and the smile of the backdoor man, who smile beautifully every-time I went to the beach. I can keep going on, but all in one sentence "Wonderful stay surrounded by lovely and very service minded team" Thank you from Copenhagen :)

I'm sorry to give a negative comment but several things didn't go well: the check-inn was completely overloaded with around 40 clients waiting. Although, this hotel is all inclusive there was no drink, not even water in the refrigerator and the machine at the floor wasn't working! When we called the reception to give us something to drink they told us, that they couldn't. The rooms are great but the problem is situated in the management of this place.

The hotel is well located, on the beach and in walking distance to marina and port. There is good choice of food and chefs are very accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions. The only thing was the labelling of the food, which they had taken on board by the end of the holiday. The staff all all very friendly and helpful. The hotel have an app that list all the services, however a couple of boards around the hotel/pool area listing the activities and time would be helpful. Would we again - Yes.

The hotel itself is really nice and well kept, close to the beach and private access. The sunset views are amazing from the hotel and beach. It was also really nice to have a view of the Kasbah Oufella from the beach side, perfect for an evening stroll. The staff were helpful and kind and we appreciated the security at the hotel which made us feel extra safe. The spa was very nice! Had a really nice a relaxing massage and would recommend getting a treatment from the spa. However, I would not recommend booking an all-inclusive or eat at any of the restaurants the hotel offers - you are better off eating outside! I got terrible food poisoning from the Moroccan restaurant on site and my friends also ended up getting food poisoning from the main hotel restaurant. This meant we lost a day in our activities that we paid for. We also found it strange that you have to pay daily to use the safe in the rooms. Other than that we did have a nice stay.

We really liked the food at this resort. The coffee was amazing. There were good gluten free options. The soups were fantastic, as were the extensive variety of breads.

Great location on the beach. Beach is great. A private section and overall, the beach is not too busy. Hotel is nice. Food is very good for buffet standards. The vegetarian concept is not clear with much mixing of spoons etc especially in the pool bar. Evening entertainment is really good with a mix of singers on the main bar and dance shows in the theatre. Pools were too deep to enjoy. Not sure why you would have both pools 135cm upwards. Would make more sense to have one shallower so that the tiny kids pool was not overused. Finding sun beds was quite often an issue. Toilets in the reception were sometimes horrible but generally the place is clean. To note, Agadir tends to be cloudy in the mornings - apparently mainly in July. We did have a couple of cloudy mornings. 30 mins from the airport. Nice holiday.

Security box should be free. Why charge customers for basic feature that is found free in many hotels. Safety of belongings should not require an extra fee. If the hotel is serious about its customer safety which should be priority number onenthen they wouldn't charge for this. It also protects your staff from being falsely accused if items go missing. I read reviews about the buffet. It did get quite boring. In fact a couple of days we missed it and went out to eat as it was the same stuff every day. Most hotel buffets have a themed night like different cuisines or at least a different variety every day but this was quite repetetive. In a 5 day stay we got bored pretty quickly. It stated outdoor pool was heated but either it wasn't or it was too low as it was far too cold to get in to. Odd rules like you can't get hot drinks in restaurant during other meal times they turn the hot drinks machine off including normal hot water. It's only for breakfast and tea time. Quite long queues at the bar. Sometimes only 1 person serving. If you just want a bottle of water you shouldn't need to queue in a long line of people who are ordering multiple alcoholic drinks. Indoor pool was really good. Spa was top. Especially Salima. One of if not the best massage we've ever had we ended up going back twice! Grounds are fantastic and hotel staff were friendly. Kids clubs was good too. And kids show at night could be more child friendly rather than just belly dancing. More Kids songs

The hotel is well located, on the beach and in walking distance to marina and port. There is good choice of food and chefs are very accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions. The only thing was the labelling of the food, which they had taken on board by the end of the holiday. The staff all all very friendly and helpful. The hotel have an app that list all the services, however a couple of boards around the hotel/pool area listing the activities and time would be helpful. Would we again - Yes.

Wonderful holiday with out four children aged 7-4. The hotel had everything we needed and we felt extremely well looked after during our stay. An abundance of food to suit different diets and preferences (and I’m vegan!) and so many activities and wonderful facilities. Evenings were magical with super after dinner activities, fun for kids and high quality performances from the dance team. We would highly recommend. Thank you Iberostar!
