I was at the Double Tree for about 10 days and sadly left a little underwhelmed with my experience. The facility is nice enough with a rather grand lobby which is home to two restaurants and a nice lounge area. The gym is fairly decent but unfortunately it requires you to leave the bldg to access it. The laundry facility is very convenient if you there for an extended stay but sadly two of the dryers weren't working which is a majoy inconvenience considering the laundry room was in heavy use resulting in wait times for a dryer unless you went early in the morning or late at night. The major letdowns were the heat not working in the room during my winter stay and soap suds from the shower coming up from the floor drain in the bathroom. I brought the heating issue to the front desk and it seemed that someone just came to the room and set the thermostat to 38 degrees which did absolutely nothing. On the plus side the staff was very nice and there are a couple restaurants and a casino within close walking distance. Unless you're a Hilton member I would recommend exploring the hotel by the casino on your next visit to the ASP.

The hotel is dated even though renovations had been done recently. The bathroom had a new toilet, sink, taps; however, the tiling should have also been renovated and the bath tub removed for a walk in shower. I just can't understand why you would do half the job? At the main entrance of the hotel there was a peddler sitting on the sidewalk selling goods while another was standing in the bushes. The car park was frustrating as it was gated, but the swipe card never worked. This is a 3 star hotel at best.

We returned to Alice Springs after two days of camping and enjoyed sleeping in Hilton beds! I checked out the pool and discovered it was salt water which helped a lot with my sore muscles from hiking, and also enjoyed the hot tub.

Another great hotel. I arrive in Alice Springs late and left early in the morning. I thought they had an airport shuttle but no and receptionist (she), was vague on information. I ended up catching a taxi which one of male person at the desk helped me out. It was pretty pricey. I think the reception needed more staff.

Most everything was fine. The sidewalk leading to the facility from the car park was broken and heaving upward. The last night I was there, there was a very large rain storm. There was leaking all over. Buckets on towels lined the hallway leading to the restaurants from the rooms. The ceiling was leaking between the rooms and leaking onto the carpet without anything catching it.

The staff really made every attempt to make you feel welcome. Always greeting you with a hello or good morning. The room was cozy, only double beds not Queen size. We found sharing one a bit squished. The room was clean and comfortable. My only negative was when I went for a swim the pool had a lot of mould in the grout. Especially on the stairs. would recommend Saltbush restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Our room was clean as well as the rest of the premises. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We did not eat meals at the restaurant but did have cocktails in the bar. Liked the king studio with the kitchenette.

Checked in, found a small rubber that Braces people use to tighten their teeth. Lots hair in bath room. Went up to reception to let them know and came back with “Can you please disregardr this” i said that fine. Just wanna let you know.

The check in staff was exceptional, the hotel looked great, the pool was in great shape, the breakfast staff and food was great, and the room was very nice. The issue was we had no AC and it was too hot in the room to sleep. Reported issue the first morning, but no one came to fix it. Lucky the weather turned cooler.

The bed and pillows were fantastic and the room was cool and pleasant overlooking the pool area - very comfortable. There was no bottled water in the room- I had to purchase an overpriced bottle through room service. I was told at reception that they did not provide complimentary bottles of water due to covid, which I have never heard before. There was nothing in the fridge at all, not even milk. I asked for a trolley at check in but none were visible in the lobby and my request was declined. No offer was made to arrange for my luggage to be brought to my room for me. I was directed incorrectly by reception to my room to the furtherest lift meaning I struggled with a heavy duffel bag for too long walking around the designated floor until the service staff saw my struggles and came to my rescue with a trolley and were very kind. No detail was offered or provided about the amenities or dining options, etc. All in all, some greater care and attention from the reception staff would be welcomed.

The hotel was recommended to us as being safe and quiet by a family member. Indeed, the service was good, it has a restaurant (although besides having a coffee, we did not use it ). A pool is a nice feature in the 40 degree Celsius weather. We came mainly to visit Uluru but ended up regretting not staying in Alice Springs longer. Such a unique place especially for us from the True North. The very unique landscape, a little kangaroo in the nearby park trying to hide in mama's pouch that he definitely outgrew. Unforgettable....

Safe and quiet location. Room was clean and large enough which was great as one day we were stuck inside due to ex cyclone Ilsa rolling through with torrential rain and wild winds. Unfortunately there is a staff shortage so tables weren’t cleared in the bar area and patrons were stacking glasses and moving plates to be able to enjoy a pre dinner drink. The lovely staff member was working extremely hard working behind the bar and making amazing cocktails. In regards to dining…..Saltbush restaurant our only highlight …… the stand out staff and service was definitely Octa . She is an asset to your staff and went above and beyond for everyone. One and a half hours for our entree and it was from the raw menu and pasta. The trio of greens was cold when our mains did arrive and with no explanation the asparagus was missing and we had one piece of broccoli instead. Such a disappointment especially after the most amazing meal at the adjoining restaurant Hanuman the night before. The only time we saw the restaurant manager was when we went to pay and he asked how was our service. Quite disappointing, on the plus side we got to meet the tables around us who were also waiting!
