I was able to find Bastion Almere based on the search function for a location I visited recently. It is not much of a luxury chain in that it is very no frills - no proper hand soap in the bathroom, based a little out of town, etc. The bed was very nice and the room itself was quite large without actually containing too much. The other facilities, e.g. the gym, are limited but still a nice touch, while the free parking is a plus. The staff are decent without exactly being friendly but they get the job done.

The hotel gives an worn out impression but the room I was given was not that bad actually, It was more than okay. Did not have a dinner there but I had breakfast, it was also more than okay. I would give the hotel a good and strong 3 out of 5, possibly a weak 4, for a business trip which it was.

Spent most of the day out- back to the hotel room in the evenings. Room spacious, bed comfortable. Superficially clean. It’s until we removed bed sheets we noted dirty topper. Dust and mess behind bedside cabinets. Arm chair with white stains. See pictures If you look for hotel with gym on basic level: that’s the one. If you’re cross-fitter or exercise person in level expert- you might get disappointed. But 10 minutes walking distance- CrossFit and proper gym available 😀

It is the only hotel in the area so it doesn't really have to do a lot to ensure it is well used. For a hotel which is supposed to above mid range to use bed toppers is a poor show in my eyes and you can never get the sheets to stay on them. Although my bed was made up every day the floor was never properly swept although to be honest they kept the bathroom immaculately clean. There was no coffee available for the 1st 4 days as they had run out. Not good for a hotel this size and who points it as a special extra..

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The property was very dirty, did not smell good, bathroom did not drain water properly. Breakfast buffet was extremely limited and not worth the price. The cooks never took instructions properly with the omelet. Carpets were very dirty as well. Rooms had weird odors. Booked rooms together but are charged separately at the property.

Camera molto bella e spaziosa. Nel bagno un leggero odore di urina. Doccia completamente intasata: alla reception mi hanno risposto che non potevano fare nulla fino al giorno dopo e mi hanno offerto una birra. Fortuna l’interessamento dal ragazzo (calabrese) della manutenzione che dopo pochi minuti ha risolto. La mattina ci siamo recati nella sala ristorante (convinto di avere la colazione inclusa nel prezzo) e ci hanno servito senza battere ciglio per poi scoprire che 2 uova, due cornetti e due cappuccini ci sono costati 35 euro!!! Mai pagato così tanto per una colazione in hotel! Visto il costo avrebbero potuto quantomeno avvertirci. Questa cosa mi ha leggermente storto la giornata.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr Nett, sie haben und toll geholfen. Leider ist das Hotel etwas außerhalb, ohne Auto wäre man wirklich aufgeschmissen. Auch wenn das Hotel in der Nähe der Autobahn ist, hört man im Zimmer nichts, wenn die Fenster geschlossen sind. Es gab nur kleine Mängel, als wir ankamen hatten wir noch Fremde Haare in der Dusche und am letzten Tag im Hotel haben wir keine neuen Tassen, keine neuen Müllsäcke und Handtücher bekommen. Die Tassen waren vom Morgen dreckig und wir haben keinen Kaffe für den Tag der Abreise bekommen. Wir hatten 2 Handtücher auf den Boden liegen damit diese Ausgetauscht werden, genauso wie auf dem Hinweisschild, diese wurden zwar mitgenommen aber wir haben keine neuen erhalten. Der Müll würde auch mitgenommen aber am Letzten Tag, vor dem Tag der Abreise brkamen wir ebenfalls keine neuen Müllsäcke. Alles im einen war es sonst immer Sauber, alle waren zuvorkommend.

My stay was terrible. The room was very cold when I arrived. I complained and asked for another room and was reluctantly given one which was also cold. When I complained again the clerk said that this was not his region and there was nothing he could do. I asked if he could call his Manager and he said no he couldn’t. I asked if he could call service and he said they had all gone home. He was abrupt and had a bad attitude and I tried to explain to him that I was the one paying to stay at the hotel and the minimum I expected was a warm room. The toilet bowl was also disgusting and stained.

Et rigtig fint hotel. Standarden var fin, man kan godt se lidt slitage på gangene, men værelserne var i fin stand. Det kan godt ske at hotellet ligger lige op ad motorvejen, men du hører meget meget lidt af dette på værelset. Fin seng, fine værelser, okay rengøring og et fint badeværelse. Bestemt et sted vi godt kunne besøge igen.

Airco werkt niet goed in de kamer waardoor het bij binnenkomst 29,5 graden is. Douche putje loopt niet goed door waardoor de badkamer overstroomt. Ontbijt was matig. Parkeren was goed te doen! Kamer was ook erg ruim.

Personal war sehr nett, außer eine Dame die abends zuständig war, unendlich frech und unfreundlich… deshalb ein Stern weniger. Mein Kissen hat nach Urin gerochen… und sie meinte das die haben keine extra Kissen mehr weil Hotel war ausgebucht… unerlaubt… Frühstück war in Ordnung! Sehr praktisch wenn man mit Auto verreist, gegenüber ist ein Tankstelle mit Supermarkt!

Het ontbijt was te mager voor de €17,50 pp. Geen fruit en zo maar ook: thee is alleen mogelijk vanuit het DE-apparaat wat te koud is om thee te zetten. Het personeel weet ervan, "Dat is altijd al zo, helaas" maar komt niet op het idee om een waterkoker neer te zetten.
