Eine sehr gute Wahl bei einem Besuch in Amsterdam, nicht im Zentrum, aber sehr guter Zugang (um die Ecke) zur Straßenbahn, mit 15 Minuten fahrt in die Stadtmitte. Sehr nettes Personal, sauber, gute Zimmer, gute Bar und Restaurant. Einzig Hotelparking ist relativ teuer, da aber Teil von Amsterdam wohl im Rahmen.

Great location, ten minutes from the airport and ten minutes from the city centre. Very clean, safe, well kept and well managed. A good launching point for my return flight home from Schiphol. Right by the highway so easy if you have a car. Gated/secure parking lot.

This was a great stay, not too far from Amsterdam Centraal (20-30 minutes) either by #2 tram and/or M51 Henk Sneevlietweg station, convenient as well as a nearby Lidl or Albert Heijin (supermarket). Room was excellent and clean with a small refrigerator, A/C, heater, etc… all good! All within city limits for walking, great! Nearby Döner place (owner is friendly!) and pizza place…This hotel even has a automatic pizza vending machine you see in Japan too which is 24/7 (see picture - takes only card just like all of Netherlands now..) (hotel is 24/7). I will stay again here especially for the price and convenience!

Spent two nights here. The front desk staff were very helpful. While the bedding and room was clean, the bathroom needed more cleaning. Found long hair on the shower stall floor. Also the kettle provided in the room was rusty inside. Asked for it to be changed but the next one was only slightly better. These kettles should have been tossed out a long time ago.

Could have been a 5 star review. Hotel overall is good and clean. Reception staff were nice and friendly. Room was ok when we checked in. We stayed several nights, the first night our room was cleaned and made up however the next night we found our room as we left it. Trash bin full, no towels, no soap,… We spoke with the front desk but seemed everyone in house keeping was gone. The next day after complaining the room was cleaned we got fresh towels but dirty cups where left soap was empty…. Overall the hotels house keeping staff is terrible and pays no attention to cleaning or details. What a shame that bad housekeeping staff ruined this hotel’s review. If you can stay somewhere else do it, stay here if you don’t have anything else.

Staff did not clean room everyday unless asked. Once staff was asked to clean the room, they asked up to help them do it. Not a convenient location to downtown Amsterdam. Bathroom shower head sprays out to the rest of the bathroom, making the floor wet. Bathroom shower body wash was not restocked. Coffee was not restocked everyday.

Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Comfortable beds and powerful air conditioning made for a comfortable room. Bathroom was clean and shower was spacious.

The clean service was poor, they just straighten the sheets instead of shaking the blankets, because I found a t-shirt between the blanket when I unmade the bed at night, also, they didn't change the cup that was used for coffee or didn't advise if these needs to be washed by ourselves.

Friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms feature the standard television, a sized safe of usable size (i.e. not tiny), and refrigerator (blessedly free of up-charge items). Bed is fine, but I wasn't crazy about the square pillows. The bathroom is an open design with just a tiny track of 4 keyhooks for hanging everything. Great shower, although the entire bath area gets soaked during usage, since there is no splash glass. The location is close to grocery, restaurants, parks, with short walks to tram (8-10 minutes) or rail (15-20 minutes - the Sprinter to the airport is under $5 euro). WiFi is slow and spotty.

the room was large and clean it was extremely noisey in the room above us and we could hear every footstep and conversation. it was if there was no sound insulation between the floors. breakfast was ok but very expensive given what it was, an equivalent in the UK would be included in the price of the room. the area where the hotel was situated was not the best but did have good transport links

The pictures used to show the rooms are not representative of what the rooms look like in reality. There is no airconditioning and the rooms have limited airflow. If you leave your window open, even on the 4th floor the cigarette and marijuana smoke comes into the room. The staff was very accommodating and helpful at all times. It is well situated for public transport, but I doubt I would stay there again. As loyal Best Western customers this hotel was a miss for us.

While the hotel and room itself were nicely kept, the temperature in the rooms was unbearable. The A/C does not work, only provided fans and a window that only tilted open a couple of inches. On a positive the service in the bar and restaurant was good.

Ground floor rooms are noisy waste pipe drainage runs into room so get constant noise from toilet. Walls are thin so can hear next door. Windows are not facing outside, but back into the hotel, so no natural light.

Everyone at the front desk was awesome!!!! Stayed 11 nights. Best vacation of my entire life!!!! Came from Colorado. Planning to come back in May, would not think of staying anywhere else!!! Superb customer service on the part of them all. They did such a great job!! See you next time!!!

The staff was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. The furniture is the cheapest of cheap. The “closet blocks the hallway and makes it nearly impossible to bring suitcases in. The shower does not drain well. The tv did not work. Possibly just the remote, but there was no staff available to help resolve that, and the telephone that did not work.

Room was overall solid and had what I needed, comfy bed, clean space, coffee and a hot shower. The common area was also very warm and welcoming. The staff really made this place great though. I needed help with a few things around town since I was new and unfamiliar and they did a great job to help out. Overall, I'd recommend this place and I'm probably going to come back to stay here again.

Check in at 0030 was mobbed and took over an hour. The self service machines worked badly and often did not recognise reservations already made. The two staff on duty were overwhelmed.

Repeatedly, we had to ask receptionist to act as bartender. Bartender was absent from the bar. It made us feel that no one really cared about us. That reflected in a lack-lustre lobby. Empty most of the time with no charm or warmth. Wont visit hotel again.

The Night staff was very unprofessional. When asked for help they would point and laugh. I just found them to be very unprofessional and looked like they didnt want to help or make our stay pleasant. Very very disappointed, as I have stayed at many Best western before. The day staff was helpful and nice. Night staff need to be trained properly about customer service and etiquette.

Decent hotel, comfy room, However, the staff at the reception wasn’t helpful at all. I booked for my sister to stay. I made a mistake and didn’t mention that in the booking prior to my arrival. It took a whole lot of effort and patience to get any assistance from the receptionist. He wouldn’t want to even tell us how to proceed and wasn’t cooperating at all. I’m glad I used “Expedia assistant” through chat to solve this.

The hotel itself was great, only issue we had was that our room door latch was not working, and our bathroom door wouldn't shut unless it was slammed with force. Front desk said they would send maintenance up to look at the faulty door latch, but if they did, nothing came of it. Other than that our stay was pleasant. The area around the hotel is definitely dodgy - there's a homeless shelter just around the corner, and we witnessed drug dealing and junkies right outside the hotel gates. One guy (very clearly out of it) even walked into the hotel grounds to ask guests who were smoking outside for money, though security was quick to escort him out. Even though my partner and I come from a place where this is the norm, we would not choose to stay in the area again unless absolutely necessary.

Very much a below par hotel from a big player in the market. No dining offering so guests were forced to buy take away and sig in the bar. The bar offering extended to a few run of the mill beers and wine, that’s it! Best Western are blessed with some lovely staff who are being let down by management.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Gebäude und insbesondere unser Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Lobbybereich und die Hotelbar mit Restaurant sind hingegen sehr schön eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war sauber aber es gab ein paar nicht vollendete Baustellen, wie z.B. Holzabsplitterungen an der Tür zum sehr spartanischen Bad (O-Ton meines Sohnes: „sieht aus wie eine Knast-Toilette“ (obwohl er noch nie im Knast war 😎)). Haltestelle für die Tram 2 mit direkter Anbindung an den Hauptbahnhof und vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten, sowie der Innenstadt ist fußläufig ca. 400m entfernt. Das Restaurant bietet keine à la Cart Gerichte an. Während unseres Aufenthalts gabˋs ein gutes Spareribs Buffet. Es gibt jedoch auch 24/7 Pizza aus einem Automaten😎

Good hotel, lovely clean rooms. We arrived late, without anything to eat and was surprised by the expense of the dinner in the restaurant. €32.50 pp for a limited buffet.
