Jaz in the City Amsterdam

Hotel au top, la station de metro est a une dizaine de minutes a pieds tres facile pojr se rendre dans le centre d'amsterdam, hotel propre et tres moderne. Rapport qualite prix cestun 20/10. Attention stationnement dans le parking souterrain ideal mais 36e les 24h, ca reste quand meme nettement moins cher que le stationnement en plein centre et parking securisé en sous sol directement accessible depuis lhotel.

I liked that it was quiet. Nice view from the sauna and from my room.

De ligging bij Ziggo en het Ajaxstadion is echt perfect. Parkeren is er wel duur (30,- per 24 uur) jammer dat er geen gereduceerde prijs voor hotelgasten is. Kamers netjes en schoon. Keuze voor ontbijt voldoende. Minpuntjes: telefoon, koelkast en waterkoker deden het niet op onze kamer. Waterkoker werd meteen omgeruild. Dat wel.

Excellent location for concerts ( right next door to the stadium ) . Very trendy hotel with a cool bar area ( there was a DJ on when we had dinner) Downside … the air con in the room is awful - we were very warm and the staff were unable to rectify it .

Inchecken ging prima. Goede locatie, prima voorzieningen, nette kamer. Parkeren staat los van het hotel, maar nog geen 12 uur geparkeerd kost € 30,-. Dat is duur. Zou beter zijn als er een package deal met het hotel geregeld kan worden.

Stayed for a few nights and generally a very good hotel. Staff were all great and the rooms good. It’s also very close to the metro station to get into central Amsterdam. Only negative would be the hotel bar prices, a small, 250ml, bottle of Diet Coke and a fresh orange and lemonade was 14 Euro 50, a bit extreme.

Exceptionally friendly staff. Clean hotel, room, gym... Food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. Nice gym with sauna. Close to public transport. Cons: Shower door seal didn't meet the floor so water leaked out and I had to use a towel to sop up the water. One of the treadmills wasn't working so I had people waiting on me to finish my cardio which made me feel a bit rushed. Really I need to stretch my imagination to try to find negatives but, I don't give out a perfect score easily. I enjoyed my stay and would certain go back if I have a reason to be in the area.

Schönes Hotel mit Wellnessbereich. Vor allem das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Otelle alakalı hiç bir sorun yok, EN BÜYÜK SORUN OTOPARK. Mecbur günlük 36 euro vermeniz gerekiyor, otele ait bir otopark yok. Sehayatinize bu miktarıda ekleyin.

While it looks nice at first glance and has modern touches like yoga mats, touch pad showers and cool speakers, it fails at the very basics- cleanliness and service. I stayed here because of its closeness to Johan Cruijff Arena. Since I was running late for a show I checked in, dropped my bags and ran out. When I came back after a long day, I went to get in the bed and noticed 3 spots of what appeared to be dried blood on the mattress topper. I then lifted the topper only to see a huge red stain underneath! It was the size of a dinner plate! Absolutely disgusting and there is no way that the person who made the bed didn’t notice it! If it weren’t so late I would have checked out immediately. I called the desk and had to request to be moved (at first they said they would just come up and “check it” until I insisted on moving). My second room appeared clean except but the refrigerator had so much crumbs and hair in the bottom I couldn’t even bring myself to drink the free water. I honestly think all the dark colours they use are hiding even more dirt. Other than lack of cleanliness there were no small washcloths (in both rooms), the mattress was worn and sank in the middle, and there were no irons or ironing boards in the room (myself and another guest had to iron in the gym at 6 am. Yoga mats but no irons - ridiculous!). Despite being aware of the issues the manager Miguel did absolutely nothing to compensate me and didn’t even apologize. I will not return.

ホテル代が高いアムステルダムで格安、その代わり地下鉄乗って歩かないといけませんが、それでも部屋は広いし、冷蔵庫、給茶機、窓辺のソファーとすべて揃っていて、とても快適でした。夜中にトイレが開かなくなった時も、スタッフがにこやかにササっと直してくれたし。お部屋の掃除はやらない方針らしく、希望を出せばいいとのことでしたが、二回ともスルーされたのだけが気になる点です。タオルの交換だけでも良かったんですけど。でも、なんたってお安くてあれだけのお部屋に泊まれるんだから、おすすめです！！

Heerlijk hotel! De kamer was echt top en erg netjes. Enige min puntje was dat ze wc erg stonk naar urine.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön aber sehr unzureichend gereinigt.

They don’t clean the rooms. You need to request. If you go out for hours all day and you come back, the room will remain dirty as you left it.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit super Lage. Parken über P+R am Stadion ist günstig und absolut empfehlenswert, da spart man wirklich Geld. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm, nur bei der Sauberkeit gab es kleine Abzüge (ein paar Flecken auf dem Sofa und etwas Staub). Ansonsten alles top und sehr empfehlenswert.

Badly maintained , filthy and unclean

The front staff were all excellent and helpful. The room however, was very disappointing. The blackout blinds were badly damaged and the separate room where the toilet was located was dirty. There were visible streaks on the walls of the bathroom overall a disappointment

La chambre est très belle, la situation de l’hôtel est parfaite. Tout est très propre et calme. Parfait!

Ik denk één van de schoonste accommodaties die ik ooit ben tegen gekomen. Daarnaast prachtige stijl van inrichting en super gelegen voor bezoek Arena of Ziggodome. Een absolute aanrader!

Wifi connection is quite poor

Fine værelser og god beliggenhed, dog var det svært at bruge TV da den indbyggede Chromecast i perioder genstartede i 5-15 minutters intervaller

Die Lage ist unschlagbar aber von Checkin über Frühstück bis Checkout war der Service unterdurchschnittlich. Schlecht motivierte und ausgebildete Youngster ohne Plan und Ahnung … und leider auch ohne Fleiß Das Hotel ist hellhörig und der Lärm hält bis nach Mitternacht wach und geht morgens bereits vor um 7 weiter.

Great location next to Ziggo arena for show. Nice hotel with modern decor, big bed, coffee in room. Friendly staff and good food in restaurant. Only negatives- smart shower kept turning off & fan/temp in room didn’t work well so our room was very hot. Noticeably cooler in hall corridor when we checked out in morning.

Once I got moved to a room that had a working shower I was very comfortable. Great size room, big comfortable bed, great views and love the seating area inside each room looking out the windows. Would definitely stay again if I could.

Modern, clean with heavenly beds and rooms

Comfort was good. Cafeteria’s service was good. Room is just a standard expectation. Shower cubicle is a bit let down as drainage was choke during my stay.

Absolutely amazing ! The two guys who were on shift last night were sooooo great to me! They held the best service ever. I was mainly in contact with them! And honestly it exceeded my expectations! I would 1000% recommend this hotel! The beds are the comfiest! The rooms are sooo nice and clean and the staff are absolutely amazing!

Really enjoyed. Staffs at breakfast especially the chef and the manager (bold guy) area where very nice with our family. Cleaning staff need to be educated and people at reception also need to be educated to be nice with people with different origins

El personal que te recibe de muy mal humor hablando mal de los clientes que llegan y que atienden en cuanto se retiran del mostrador, cero empatía y espíritu de servicio, mal y de malas, mejor que renuncien, en el restaurant la persona que te recibe está enojada, avienta las cosas y anda de malas, la chica que prepara los omelette súper amable, mesera del restaurant bar enojada y de malas , tuvimos que pedir que limpiaran la habitación

Nice staff and very cool atmosphere. I like my room cold so I wish the A/C worked better. The bar and restaurant was very nice as well. They don’t have parking really just a couple spots in front of the hotel. The parking lot isn’t control by the hotel and kind of expensive. Overall I would go ahead because of how nice the staff is and the amenities

We arrived early and so we checked in via the reception desk and were told that when we came back at 1500 hrs we could use the online check in. Tried to check in on the online check in when we arrived back at the hotel only to find it wouldn’t work and the staff member hadn’t bothered to complete our check in. Staff would rather chat between themselves for a couple of minutes than greet you when standing at the desk waiting to be served. Arrived in our room and found we had no body soap in the shower and the touch button to activate the waterfall stream in the shower didn’t work. Other than that, it was a great stay, it’s in a nice area next to Ajax stadium and is between 2 stations, one being a train and metro station and the other a metro station so convenient transport links. Only other thing we didn’t like was the price of breakfast, €22.50 per person is shocking. Especially if you’re staying for 3 days and if there two of you. €135 just for breakfast is criminal and just pure greed on the hotels behalf. Plus, the hotel charges €24.50 for its burger of the week, just keep your money and go find a nice restaurant where you can get a nice sit in meal for probably the same price or less.

Fabulous room as always very comfy bed. Excellent service at the bar and restaurant (the apple pie was absolutely delicious). Staff were just so good this year, best ever.

Had & great stay at Jaz in the City. Staff were helpful & polite. Room was very clean & quiet (no outside noise). Train station is only a few mins walk away for easy access to Amsterdam Central. No negatives I can think of. Would definitely stay here again!

This was my third time staying at the Jaz in the City Amsterdam hotel as it is the perfect location if you’re going to a concert at the Ziggo Dome. The hotel is really close to the train and metro station so it’s very easy to get to Amsterdam City Centre. There are so many bars, restaurants and shops around and I even discovered a supermarket this time around. The bar in the hotel has a great vibe with a DJ. When I arrived I asked the lady who checked me in if it was possible to have a view of the Ziggo Dome and she said I saw your last review so I’ve already reserved you the room you had last time. I greatly appreciated this and feel they go above and beyond to make you enjoy your stay. Thank you so much to the lady who checked me in and I’ll definitely be back soon.

Hotel is next to Ziggo dome but you'd never know. Completely sound proofed. Fantastic if going to a concert there. No trek home on public transport late at night. Great public transport links into central Amsterdam or Schipol airport. Oh and if you're a footie fan then you've got Johan Cruff stadium opppsite. Hotel staff lovely too.

We loved staying here! Clean and comfy rooms with a great view of Ajax stadium and the music stadium next door. Location for us was great, as it was walking distance to the station. Quick and direct train to get to airport and the same to get to Centraal station. Took about 25 mins to get there but it was easy. Nice safe area and great vibe on match and concert days. If you want to be out of the main area, this is a great hotel

Hotel is located just opposite the stadium, however, great location. A 10 mins walk to a train station. Staff were really friendly and rooms are moderately sized. Overall, it was a good experience!

Virkelig godt hotel, der ligger tæt på metro og togstation. Det tager 10 min at gå til stationen og derfra 20 min og man står midt på Centralstationen. Morgenmaden var rigtig god

Best hotel if you’re going to a concert in the Ziggi Dome, can’t beat the location literally next door. Online and app check in was not worth it or available but check in was efficient. Room walls and blinds a bit run down but shower was great and had a good sleep. Restaurant was slow (busy) but very good. Not sure if area is safe at night towards metro station but I’d stay again at this hotel for an event.

Clean, efficient and spacious rooms. Near great railway hub for quick connections throughout the country and downtown Amsterdam. As spoken by a Amsterdammer with oodles of travel experience on four continents.

The hotel was extremely convenient for me who was going to a concert in Ziggo dome, that was the reason why I booked there. Easy to get to and from city center with train, and small walking distance from the train station. The staff was welcoming, the rooms was excellent and clean. I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to a concert, football game and want to be slightly away from the city.

Perfect location for attending gig at Ziggodome and still having easy access to the airport and into the city. Great stay.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Was nice to be able to drop my luggage off before check-in and leave it after checkout until it was time to go to the airport. Had an issue with the electricity in my room and had to be moved, but was upgraded to larger suite. Couldn't figure out how to open the balcony door for the life of me. Price is definitely because of the location; it's not as polished as I expected it to be. Worth it tho, because it's connected to Ziggo Dome and it was nice being able to head right to my room after the show was over without worrying about cabs or whatever. I added breakfast on one day and it was OK; I think my amerikan expectations were the problem because for that price in the US it's usually a hot buffet with omelet and waffle stations and such. This was mostly cold foods, but there was a self-serve pancake and waffle making station, fresh squeezed juices, and the pastries were super fresh and yummy.

Excellent location, only minutes away from the station and supermarket. Staff were very pleasant and the room and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was amazing - so much variety and healthy options. Will definitely return here.

Rent och snyggt. Rymliga rum. Tillägg för frukosten alldeles för dyr (43€ för 2 personer). Men hotellet låg nära en större livsmedelsbutik så vi åt på rummet. Nära tågstationen som tar en till city och arenan.

Excellent hotel if attending an event at the Ziggy Dome, which we were. Lots of choices at breakfast, something for everyone, the hotel met our expectations!
