Strategic location to Amsterdam Central but not providing free luggage storage (the storage price is still cheaper than luggage storage fee in Amsterdam Central station). Booked for a 10 bed female dorm, the toilet and shower room are not daily clean until you inform the front desk. Good thing, they provide free yoga class on every Friday,and various paid fee activities to connect all the travelers.

Pros: really cool, modern facility with many rooms to hang out in, including a bar/game area, open-space lobby which has sitting space, a café & a pool table, an additional open-space game room for people to chill in, and many bathrooms & shower rooms throughout the hostel — bike rentals — near convenience stores, restaurants & public transportation — lively — hosts games & various activities Cons: the cleanliness of the rooms & facilities are sub-par; I've seen mold in numerous showers near the ceiling due to little ventilation, no toilet paper refills, they don't provide you with much amenities — people are, and will be noisy past "curfew" due to the nature of a "party hostel" — no microwaves, usable kitchens or fridges which isn't great if you're trying not to spend an obscene amount of euros for food — the staff is nice, but sometimes during interactions I felt like I was bothering them with simple requests. Overall an average hostel, I enjoyed my time there and it's in a splendid location! However, I do believe there should be greater emphasis on helping solo travellers mingle and maybe not have children stay at the hostel if you're advertising yourselves as a "party hostel".

Laundry system is horrible. It is connected to a Wifi. And whenever the Wifi goes down the staff runs around like chicken without heads. These humans need to be smarter than a dumb laundry machine. I strongly suggest the management to make things simple for the laundry. No need to go to a hi tech remote controlled system for a such a simple task of washing clothes. The old days coin operated machines were much more efficient than these hi tech gizmos which the mangement has installed

Huge hostel with plenty of rooms and plenty of activities. The toilet/shower facilities are kept in pristine condition. Yes it is in Amsterdam Noord (other side of the river), so you'll have to take the ferry, but it's free and it runs very frequently and late at night too (up to 2AM when I was there).

It's a kool hostel with up-to-date facilities and a large split level communal area that has a lot of activities. The room and bathroom was nice and clean. Bike rental was easy. Crossing the river with the boat was convenient as there's one available every 5 mins. Staff were pleasant and onto it. Only thing missing was retail stores / dining around the building.

Pro: Relatively comfortable for bunk bed, bathroom was generally clean but it also would depend on the people using it. Very easy to get to central area and walkable if you like walking (except for ferry) Cons: no fridge, microwave, no way to buy/store own food (this was not clear on the website). This is important for me and those with dietary restrictions or those looking to save in an expensive city like Amsterdam. Also charges €5 for towel which I think is quite expensive.

I really loved this hostel. The interior design and decor was great and I took some photos of it. Everyone I shared a room with was cool and there were security features in place to keep items protected while out and about in the city. The hostel has multiple seating areas to bring a laptop to do work, and a variety of seating options and style for different comfort levels. There are always activities going on and even the restaurant/bar in the hostel had a great variety of choices, including a handful of vegan options - two of which I tried. There is a convenience store behind the hostel for snacks and quick meals, and the ferry stop is a few minute walk from the hostel. I would totally stay here again.

Location wise it was great. We stayed in a private double. The floors were dirty as was the shower. The towels left for us were covered in yellow stains. We had no toilet paper for a whole day and it took 2 visits to reception to get more. It was fine but considering we paid a huge amount to stay it wasnt great

Everything good. Check in and checkout are strict and checkout is early. Bed was not so comfortable but it was ok. And room was not very clean but ok. Bar at the lobby was really good and not expensive. Good location if arrive to Ams Central train station

I really loved this accommodation but I can’t give it a full 5 stars because our room specifically didn’t meet the highest quality which was disappointing. The room was dusty and I didn’t feel comfortable moving around. No towels or toiletries provided even though it was stated they were for private rooms. I had to ask for them at reception but I was even given a dirty towel so I had to go ask again for another one. I told the receptionist about my concerns and they said that housekeeping will just refill the toiletries/towels but no housekeeping checked our room at all until the very end of our stay. I really liked everything else about this accommodation and I just wished my concerns were solved during my stay. I’d love to go back here when I’m in Amsterdam again but I am hoping your rooms are presented to the highest standard next time.

The hostel was good, they could clean a little better near windows and top of the beds where you have your electricity and lamp the black thing there had alot of dust, overall for the money its awesome, good bar to, never ate the breakfast there bought some sandwiches spent around 30 euro a day on food inside amsterdam

O quarto ficou sujo, a parede estava suja e no final dos 7 dias a pia do banheiro estava podre de suja. Tive q pedir pra irem recolher o lixo pq ele estava transbordando e o ar condicionado não funcionou, desliguei ele pra deixar o quarto mais frio e funcionou, o shampoo tbm acabou e ao pedir para repor apenas deixaram lá para eu instalar na parede. O hostel fica numa parte de tras da estação central e é necessário pegar a balsa, por sorte é gratuita e funciona 24hrs

One of the best hostals I’ve stayed in. Please check the drainage for the shower in room 152. The water kept running out of the shower, we had to keep placing towels on the floor. Other than that the place is wonderful and location is ideal.

Great hostel. Shared amenities were fantastic, lots of activities on offer and great breakfast. The rooms were pretty good, it did get rather hot and the windows do not open, but there were some fans provided. Had some issue with noisey dorm mates - but that’s not something the hostel has control over. Fantastic location, very easy to get into the city with a quick ferry that goes about every 5 minutes. 100% recommend and would stay again

Very industrial style and furnishings. Rooms are small, Since we are traveling with large luggage only one piece could be opened on the floor at a time. Shower gets almost the entire bathroom floor wet. Plenty of hot water. Bed thin mattress on hard wood support. We like a firm mattress and were ok with it. Breakfast is OK The Bar is quite nice with a good selection and not over priced. The restaurant serves bar food, it's ok but would like the option of some salads or more balanced meals Location is great. across the river (free ferry) from the main train station.

Generally good.Even though I booked 4 mixed dorms, it was so difficult to take a shower when the one person wanted to turn off the light. There were no curtains, so all the noise and light affected everyone. It was not a comfortable place. By the way, the location was good. Locker is a bit expensive.

Last-minute booking for a very busy Dutch Grand Prix weekend - loved the close location to Centraal, just a quick ferry ride and 3mins walk from hostel. We booked a private double room, which was OK (though massively overpriced for what you get) - only problem is the shower, which regularly flooded the entire bathroom. Didn't make use of the common areas due to busy schedule, but looks like a fun place for young travelers.

The North (Noord) side of Amsterdam is worth exploring. But you are also a 2 min walk from the free ferry that will bring you to Amsterdam Centraal and directly down town. Lively hostel. The rooms are VERY basic (hostel of course) and the bed was painfully uncomfortable.

We had an amazing stay here. Our room was comfortable and clean. The food was good and well priced. Everything was super easy to get to. There is so much to do here and we loved our time at ClinkNoord - It was a great place to call home for three nights and we will be back. Thank you. Bonus that we were able to have an early check in and late check out for a small fee.

I quite enjoyed parts of my stay but others were disappointing. Housekeeping came into the room several days in a row thinking my checkout date was Friday instead of Sunday, saying my bed was necessary for someone else. Sunday, I was encouraged to leave at 9:30 instead of 10:00 which was the official time. Machine check in was a mess. Otherwise, friendly staff and several places to eat food and meet people.

The location was very good, just outside of the main city center. Its right next to the tall outlook, right next to the (free, 5 min long) ferry to downtown. I arrived early and had a question about the lockers. The person at the desk was very rude and seemed annoyed that I was even speaking to them. I asked a question about the lockers and their answer was "there's a screen". Not only did it not answer my question, it was very off putting and set the tone for my stay. The place seemed very safe and theres a grocery store around the same block, making it easy to go out and grab a snack. I stayed in a single room with an attached bathroom. It was very clean, the bed wasnt terrible, but I didnt find it difficult to adjust the air. After my check in experience, I didnt want to have to speak with them again, so I dealt with it. Checkout was very easy and the person at the desk was very pleasant this time. All you had to do was drop your room card in and leave!

We reserved our paid room over a month! We show up and ask us to come back later for check-in. We come back later in the evening and they tell us they have no rooms available and are very sorry! Employee tried to find us accommodations, but was unsuccessful in doing so! Horrible customer service and only got “sorry”

We had an amazing stay here. Our room was comfortable and clean. The food was good and well priced. Everything was super easy to get to. There is so much to do here and we loved our time at ClinkNoord - It was a great place to call home for three nights and we will be back. Thank you. It was a very average stay ! Clean enough, decent enough amenities. The breakfast staff were far friendlier than the front desk staff . I was on the third floor, in an all female dorm, and it was very quiet . The place seemed a bit older than I originally thought , but it was mostly ok . Pillow very flat . Bed not super comfy. Check in at four, but my room wasn’t ready until almost 5. Don’t buy the breakfast buffet, not worth it. Super close to the ferry which brings you to centraal. Felt safe walking alone at night.

Right by the (free) ferry that takes you right towards central station and the main part of the city. Food is delicious and the drinks were lovely. They always have something going on every evening (karaoke, cocktail classes, movie nights) and the atmosphere is so energetic. I will definetly be staying here when I visit again in the fututre. Made lots of friends and had a wonderful time.

Breakfast is a little monotonous and deteriorates when there is large school groups. Got a bit sick of the same food after 5 days. A pity also that there is no free Tea or coffee or access to fridges like other hostels
