When it comes to the location, this place is the best! Situated right next to the Sloterdijk station, it is a 2 stop direct train ride from the airport, and the station itself holds the train, metro, and bus that will take you to anywhere in Amsterdam. Amsterdam Central is also just 1 train stop away. Amenities wise, this is a very minimalist hotel without any frills. They do have a strict check in policy at 3 and didn’t let us check in any earlier than that, but they will hold your luggage for you if you arrive early. Check out is at noon, which was nice, and breakfast was included. Overall, a pleasant stay.

All was ok apart from manager who is very unprofessional and very rude abrubt made us feel so uncomfortable. As we had issue with water and cleaning try to tell him his attitude was so horrible. His name Yasar who let the whole hotel down.

Very good..typical holiday inn standards.. only thing is about price, which fluctuates a lot.. sometime it's comparable to other nearby hotels and hence makes sense to book. Sometimes it's more expensive than same hotels and thereby makes other more obvious choice. Right next to sloterdjik metro, train, tram and bus station. Has small supermarket next to it. Overall very clean and provides good breakfast..although sometimes bit expensive

Clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and very accommodating staff. It’s next to the Sloterdijk rail/subway station for easy access to downtown and beyond. Only potential problem might be noise from all the trains and activity nearby. Didn’t bother us though. Spar convenience store next door sells beer, wine, liquor and sandwiches/pastries. We would stay there again and recommend the hotel to others.

A very reliable chain of hotels, this Holiday Inn Express was conveniently situated right next to a train station and not far from the airport. Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean. Cleaning of room can be exchanged for free drink at bar. Thought there would be a safe in the room but there was not sadly. Was offered safe room instead but declined. All in all though, a satisfactory stay.

This hotel is very convenient for using the train system. It’s literally right next door to the train station and just 1 stop away from Amsterdam Central station. We also used the train to get to other areas in Holland. The staff were great; very friendly, attentive & personable. It was nice to have the continental breakfast if we had time in the mornings. The hotel itself needs some love. The carpet in our room was disgusting. There were stains all over it, I thought maybe it was just our room but we took the stairs and the carpet on the stairs was also gross. You can’t control the thermostat in your room so luckily it was cool at night and we opened our window. The only downside to that is we could hear a lot going on outside. Overall a great stay just know the property is a little worn.

It wasnt in a nice area. However vety good for public transport and a decent convenience store next to it. Restaurant next door looked ok, was busy. Room was ok, no milk for tea/coffee. Only 2 teabags so unable to have morning tea... Bleach stains on the carperts in room and along corridors.

Breakfast was very basic. Good little Spar-market right next to the hotel. Trams, busses, trains and metro next to hotel. Easy access from the airport. House keeping was done daily but very late in the afternoon. No safebox or fridge in the room. Room and bathroom were very clean. The aircondition was sufficient, at least in our room.

Stayed 3 nights, our expectations were pretty low as had read some previous reviews I must say that they were exceeded. Very clean rooms, breakfast was great and plenty of it, we were on the 7th floor which was lovely and quiet . Staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable especially Yasar, Kautar and special thanks goes to Suthini who was a member of the night staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. If I had to make one criticism it would be that the outside area of the building was dirty, untidy with a lot of litter, which does not reflect the inside which was very clean and tidy . Would recommend this hotel .

It is next door to a major rail station so transportation was very easy. The rooms are comfortable, but there is no closet or hooks to hang clothes. There are no safes in the rooms and we had to lock our valuables down at the front desk. Breakfast selection is very decent. Staff are cooperative. Uber drop off is confusing because there are entrances on 2 levels. Uber pick up spot is a 3 to 5 minute walk away from the hotel.

The hotel is in a brilliant location just one stop to Amsterdam Central Easy for the airport and bus terminal there too. Staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. Room very comfortable, spacious enough and clean. Good continental breakfast Free drinks rather than towel change good idea. One small disappointment having to pay to leave luggage due to flight times, after check-out- €3 euros per person not terrible jyst unexpected I'd highly recommend the hotel brilliant value so thank you!!

The hotel staff was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic. The only problem i experienced was the inability to control the air conditioning. It is a climate controlled building. The room temperature was 24.9’ when I woke up and we were unable to open a window. The hotel did give us a fan.

The hotel was very nice , clean and very convenient for transportation. The employee were courteous and serviceable.I think this is the plus for this hotel. It.is right next to the train station and you can get to Ámsterdam Central station in 5 min by train. The only downside of this hotel was that the reason I choosed this hotal other the transportation accessibility was because in the room description was listed AIR CONDITION and when we got to the room, there were no air conditioning and when I asked to the receptionists, I was told that there's no air conditioning and the room only have room body temperature adjustment system that can't be controlled so all nights was so hot in the room. The room features needs to be corrected so the guests like me doesn't feel that we were scammed. Thank. You

The hotel is conveniently located immediately next to a major train station and is literally above a bus terminus - where there is a bus to the airport. These make travelling within Amsterdam very easy. It is just a 20-minute bus or a 10-minute train ride to the city centre. The hotel is reasonably good overall although the check is was a nightmare to me. I would like to thank a couple of gentlemen who helped me during my check-in as I needed to change room for a few times. One of them even personally checked my room before assigning it to you in order to avoid the recurrence of the check in problems for the first two room assignments. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. There are varieties of food which suit every taste, and provide a good start of the day. The housekeeping, on the other hand, needs some improvement as when I checked in I was given a room which was not made up yet and during my stay the dirty cups were not replaced on one day and the used tea bags were not cleared on the other day. The phone was not working during my 3-night stay. All in all, I still recommend this hotel to the travelers as it is reasonably priced and conveniently located.

It was very easy to get from the airport to the hotel via train. Yes the hotel is right beside the train tracks but the noise from the trains was not loud. If you are a light sleeper I recommend you bring earplugs. The hotel was very handy for getting into Central Amsterdam either by train or bus. We even rented bikes from the hotel and biked to north Amsterdam to see the windmills and pioneer village, the West park, and Central Amsterdam. The bike path are amazing and connect you to everything. The breakfast was wonderful. An excellent location to get around the city without the central Amsterdam prices.

Great location!! Steps from the train station and a 5 minute ride to Amsterdam Centraal. Friendly staff and a good breakfast included. Not much in the area, but there are a couple decent restaurant options. It's a great option for anyone not wanting to spend "downtown" money on a hotel.

The hotel was nice and a good location. My issue was the first night the TV was not working and we were told maintenance would come up and fix it. They did not. Five hours later we called the front desk and someone came up and said he could not fix it he is only front desk staff. I asked for a different room and was told no. I asked for a manager and was told she would contact me the next day. She did not. Very disappointed.
