Unfortunately the property lost power during our stay and we could not charge our phones and was unable to order any room service as the restaurant had to close. The staff are friendly (but were understandably stressed out), the rooms are clean and the location is great.

Overall, a great place to stay and very centrally located to most of the shopping around town. Very clean and quiet. Parking is literally next to the building, but costs $30 NZD/day. Breakfast, IMO, was WAY overpriced, at $42 NZD for the buffet, it's totally not worth it. I ate once, had some French toast, eggs, sausage, OJ and regretted my decision. Their is a Starbuck, Dunkin, and a Denny's around the corner. Better options, much cheaper!

The Hotel had an old socks smell to it. We stayed 4 days and our room was never serviced once even though we specifically asked on one occasion, we asked for new towels twice and only once they were provided. The staff were nice but service was appalling for a 4 star hotel. Advertised 24/7 in room dining as we found out after 9pm this consists of fish&chips, fries or club sandwiches. Which arrived over cooked almost burnt and ridiculously priced, we were grateful that explaining this at check out they did not charge us. But Never again

Great location, though significant construction on street out front. Lobby smell/air flow was poor; upon entering, there was always an unpleasant/stale smell. Our room floor (18) and hotel room was not affected. Elevator system was intuitive and efficient. Check in was extremely professional and pleasant. Hotel was quiet overnight.

The front desk staff was excellent. Our room was ready early and we were able to check in with ease. We were on the 18th floor and had a great view. Our beds were very comfortable and the bathroom products were excellent. Our only real issues were only had 2 towels in our room even after requesting extra 3 (for the number of our party) and our room wasn't serviced on the 3rd day of our stay. There was a great deal of construction that made entering the hotel difficult (not the fault of the property, but I wish we had known in advance).

Crowne Plaza was great! Rooms are spacious. We had enough room for the 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Waking distance to shops and restaurants. View of the harbor was beautiful. We will definitely stay at Crowne Plaza again!

I haven't slept well in .... a long time. We were in Auckland for four nights and I slept so well here. I think it was how comfortable I found the bed. When we moved on from here to our next stop ... I again had issues waking up frequently trying to get comfortable. Check in/out was simple, location is perfect and walkable. Room was large and we had a great view of the Sky Tower and were able to watch people coming down the bungy. We didn't opt in for the breakfast so can't comment on that part. I would definitely stay again and am sad I didn't book a Crown Plaza property at each stop. I'll also look into staying at Crown Plaza on future trips.

Great location but the property is run down and old. Bathroom had a curtain and the shower was in an old bath. Furnishings were old and outdated. Definitely not what you’d expect from a Crown Plaza property.

Our room (1919) was spacious but you could always hear the lift going. Very handy location and 5 minute walk from airport sky drive bus city drop off. Quite a lot of major roadworks to do with the city rail link. One of our room keys disappeared. We assume when cleaning it got swept off the table with the rubbish. Our cheese knife that we had brought with us was taken away. When we phoned it was returned straightaway.

The hotel facilites were very clean and neat. Close to cafes and resturants. The only downside to staying at the hotel was the music from the nightclubs nearby which continues throughout the night. This makes it hard to sleep.

We paid extra for a top floor room that looked at an office building. The room was very generic, other than a few extra seconds in the lift, there was nothing different from a regular room. There was no body wash in the shower. The phone didn't work, we had to use the speaker phone. Neither room service or reception answered calls. To order food we had to go to the restaurant and ask to have it delivered to the room. We left early one morning to catch a bus for a day trip, because we were leaving before the restaurant opened, reception said they would have breakfast delivered to our room, it never arrived. On the way out my wife complained and the person just shrugged his sholders. It turns out it was on the counter with him, they delivered it to reception. Most of the people were really nice and helpful, except the shrugger, however as soon as you were not standing in front of someone, the service was the complete opposite, they took every opportunity to disappoint with both hands.

Housekeeping staff so kind and helpful. Greetings in hallway and conversation. Love your green effort with no service! Conceierge was wonderful and helped with many questions as well as getting us a shuttle for the airport. Only concern is we never did get a text or email that our room was ready.

We had traveled 19 hours and we totalling exhausted. We arrived early to hotel and was told that our room wouldnt be available for 5 hours. We sat in lobby and shortly, the manager Otis came to us and told us he was working on it. We got a room. Otis is the best!!

Excellent location. Staff extremely helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to help us find public transport suitable to our needs. The room was spacious and quite. There is a lot of construction around the hotel, which complicates traffic. Tons of restaurants within wañking distance. Would stay again.

I was fortunate enough to stay here during vacation and I definitely made the right choice! The centralized location, the level of care and excellent customer service from every staff member I interacted with made it hard to leave. My room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I could want. Mo, the concierge, was very kind in sharing recommendations and making activities/ tour reservations for me. The food was great; the daily happy hour was fun and very reasonably priced. The cherry on top was the on-site mall for all your last minute shopping needs. I'm very much looking forward to my return.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. At check in two of our rooms were ready mid-morning which was very unexpected and thoroughly enjoyed since we had to disembark our cruise around 9:00 am. We feel that we should have been warned about the EXTENSIVE construction around the hotel which made it a much less favorable experience. This is an expensive area and one should not have to exit through basement shops just to reach the street. There are many hotels around but this one is the most primarily affected.The windows all look out over cranes and constructuon and at times tou cannot access tje fromt door on foot because of fences. Customers should be told about this in advance!

My stay for one night was good. Staff great. Restaurant food okay. Unfortunately there was a Lot of construction immediately around the hotell so the view and walkability were limited. Amenities were nice, spacious room. Being vegan, menu choices and breakfast offered a small amount.

The staff was very accommodating. Although pricey, the breakfast buffet was great. Decor was dated but in good shape and the rooms were spacious. The location was good except for the construction out front which made things a bit tricky. This is the 6th year of construction. It met our needs but we probably wouldn’t book here again.
