The on site dryer was a god send after our clothes were wet from a day out. The staff were friendly & accommodating to our requests. The indoor pool was great for the kids to unwind & warm up on the cold winter Ballarat weather.

The Bell Tower Inn was just fantastic! The room was very clean and tidy. The staff were amazing and friendly. The biggest draw card for me was the indoor pool which did not disappoint at all. I swam for a few hours. Very clean and tidy. Thank you Bell Tower in for a lovely stay. Will definitely be back.

Staff excellent, room very dated badly needs an upgrade ,paint flaking in numerous spots on ceiling, wire on top of bath room window rotting heater works when it feels like,,, spr bath old and does not work swimming pool dirty,tiles missing,rubbish on floor, spouting missing a two foot section from gutter on roof windows dirty in restaurant.

Always an awesome experience. Love the reception guy, love our cosy rooms and comfy beds and the pool is absolutely amazing for our kids. Will never stay anywhere else and come to Ballarat just to stay here usually.

Whilst a bit dated, the room was very large, clean and comfy. It was a bit tricky to use the pool as it was locked when I went to use it and was told that only the owner had a key. I chose this hotel because of the heated pool. Check out was at 10am, yet staff knocked on the door to clean it at 9.40, a bit weird.

The motel needs updating -Spa in room didn't work -Mattress over 20 years old at less you could feel all the springs -Paint pilling off the walls and ceiling -Pool not heated as it said it was -No sauna but advertised that there is one

The owner was delightful and so accommodating. Was great to know they were also pet friendly for next time. My kids loved the Indoor Pool and great local options nearby to eat at. Very clean and my room was a decent size for three of us.

A nice spacious room however the linen and making of the beds left a lot to be desired. My sheet was torn significantly, there was no doona cover on and the sheets were not secure on the bottom. Other than that the stay was very good.

The room reeked of bleach and I ended up with bleach on my pants after using the bathroom where I had to fix the toilet seat. My best pair of leggings were ruined and management didn’t care. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all

Enjoyed the pool and spa bath. Compendium needs to be updated to show their restaurant no longer does breakfast. Lazy Moe's is right next door though so you can get a great breakfast there. Rooms very tired and also the bathroom. Nasty smell in room. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Easy to find. Was a spacious room with 1 queen and 1single bed. Comfy beds, hot shower. Big bathroom. Free WiFi but if you wanted Netflix etc you had to use your own account. Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar and toaster. Electric blankets. Heater was good. Indoor heated pool. Staff were helpful and friendly. Easy parking. Motel has a restaurant or you can go to Lazy Moes next door with yummy food.

The room was a good size and plenty of space. Had issue with the kitchenet area and was reported. Great location and only 4kms from Lake Wendouree, went to see fireworks new years eve. Had an indoor pool and had a dip each night. I would highly recommend this Inn.

It's a nice motel, very spacious rooms. I used to hold events here years ago. It is now becoming dated, the rooms need an upgrade and the restaurant they lease too has a 3 star rating so not amazing, however I would still stay here again because I know the place.
