Very new and clean. Central location, particularly very close the Ballarat railway station and main street. The shower does not drain properly and causes a great deal of water to fall outside the shower door. I had booked a room with a balcony, which I did not get and could not contact reception after 9pm when we arrived to rectify this. I had also asked for a parking space which they'd overlooked. The staff were not friendly and it felt as though we were putting them out by asking for parking.

Was really impressed with Quest Ballarat Station. Property still looks immaculate, like it has just opened. Only reason I wouldn’t give it 5/5 was because of the Shampoo / Conditioner dispensers. They either didn’t work or the front part came off in my hand. Otherwise the place is really impressive. It even had a two pan hot plate bench top cooker.

I would like to say thank you to the housekeeping staff, our room was immaculate everyday. It’s the cleanest room I’ve stayed in. The hotel reception was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk to shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again in the future.

We were very impressed with this hotel. We were only in Ballarat for one night and so booked a studio room. I was expecting something quite small but was very surprised with the facilities - plenty of room for the night, exceptionally clean, really comfortable bed, great bathroom and even a little two burner cooktop and microwave! There was a little bit of train noise but this was very muted with great sound-proofing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quest, Ballarat station

The overall accommodation was good, however the noise from the nearby train station was clearly evident. It’s certainly something I noticed into the early hours of the morning, the last train I heard was at 2:00am! The room was accommodating but we heard the neighbours talking at 7:00am, almost as though they were in our actual room. We enjoyed the fact that we could leave the car in the secured carpark and walk to the restaurant for dinner, attend a show and walk back within a matter of minutes. I’m not sure I’d book the accommodation again as I’d like something quieter.

Overall good experience. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location. Well designed. Some work to be done on the pillows and bedding. The pillows are too warm and uncomfortable. The doona is too warm as well. Forces you to crank up AC which then causes noise issues. Overall inconsistent sleep.

I'm no motel expert but I would have thought having a person on reception would be a good idea in a motel. My wife had to wait over 15 minutes to check in as their was no one on reception. Now I could understand if it was outside normal hours but at around 2.30pm when people would be expected to check in maybe have some staff on reception. Also when we went to check out at 9.30am there was no one on reception. Just a small sticky note stuck to a display saying call and a mobile number. Really... Be better. Now apart from that it was a pretty good stay. Room was nice, beds were comfortable and we enjoyed it. Although the couch in our family room (2 seater couch for family room which can sleep 4... Not ideal) was harder then a cats head and not comfortable. My winging aside I would stay here again...
