Séjour calme agréable avec accès à une petite piscine d’extérieur sympathique. Très bonne literie dans cette chambre en duplex avec salon climatisé et bar au sous sol et chambre avec salle de bain wc séparé au premier étage. Personnel souriant. Chambre spacieuse et jolie. Seul bémol le joint au bas de la porte de douche était cassé et faisait déborder de l’eau sur le sol de la salle de bain à chaque douche. Il manquait peut être une grande poubelle au niveau de la chambre . Pour accéder au métro il faut marcher 15 minutes à pied.

Staff and facilities were very impressive. Even tried out the swimming pool in November. Disappointed with the road works that were happening right outside the hotel. We were not told about them and they were directly underneath our window. Work started at 7:45 am which woke us up.

Ano passado fomos eu, esposa, filha e genro e nós hospedamos no Derby Hotel. Utilizávamos a piscina do Gran Derby. Simpatizamos muito com o Hotel e esse ano nós hospedamos 8 noites. O pessoal é muito atencioso, o lugar é excelente, Les Corts, ao lado da Diagonal.

My stay at Gran Derby was amazingly exceptional. From the moment I checked in until I checked out, the crew were great! They even suggested places for me to visit, knowing that it was my first time visiting Spain. I would definitely choose this place to stay at on my next visit. Room was clean and the housekeeping service is exceptional. I can’t wait to go back!

The rooms are very nice, but the hotel doesn't even have boiler for the water in the room, you have to check availability with reception to see if they can provide it. And they do not refresh with water and amenities each day. It is nice place with potential but lacks the luxury touch or more the luxury service.

Hotel staff was 10/10. Very attentive and helpful. They also made food recommendations and provided directions. Only issue is the room was damp, as if there was water somewhere. I understand it’s an older building, but the room smelled wet- it’s the best way I can describe it.

Stayed for 3 nights. Personnel was great! All of them. They were really helpful and always willing to help and sorry I can not name them but I treat with a few members of their team and all of them were polite and helpful. Location I find was great. It was relatively close to main attractins of the city. Rooms were cleaned and quiet.

Uma decepção! Quarto pequeno ( não a suite duplex anunciada!) janela interior (!!!) e sem ar condicionado. Um calor horrível!! Na recepção disseram me com um ar muito natural q o AC só seria ligado dai a uns dias porque estava frio … frio para quem?? Para mim insuportável calor… por isso existe o AC para q cada um se sinta confortável!! Lixo no caixote do cliente anterior… luz a piscar no tecto… enfim o pior hotel em q já fiquei em Barcelona ( e já estive aqui mais de uma centena de vezes) !! Small luxury hoteles do qual faço parte: onde estão os vossos inspectores ??

Séjour sympa dans cet hôtel, chambre très correcte. En revanche nous étions là 3 jours, ils n’ont jamais changé les serviettes de toilette… Ce qui est très limite pour un hôtel 4 étoiles…

The hotel itself is quite nice, looks good and the rooms are modern and nice. However, the soundproofing in the rooms are absolutely horrible. You can hear everything your neighbour does. You can hear footstepts, coughing, even talking. It's basically a matter of luck how well you can sleep at night depending on your neighbours. It can get really disturbing and I lost a good two nights of sleep due to my neighbours. Even in the junior suite, I heard a lot of commotion happening next door.

Appartement très très mal isolé. On entend tout en détail des bruits des toilettes aux conversations des voisins et j'en passe. C'est horrible, les bruits des tuyauteries qui réveillent a n'importe quelle heure de la nuit et les retours de soiree. Je déconseille.

Uma decepção! Quarto pequeno ( não a suite duplex anunciada!) janela interior (!!!) e sem ar condicionado. Um calor horrível!! Na recepção disseram me com um ar muito natural q o AC só seria ligado dai a uns dias porque estava frio … frio para quem?? Para mim insuportável calor… por isso existe o AC para q cada um se sinta confortável!! Lixo no caixote do cliente anterior… luz a piscar no tecto… enfim o pior hotel em q já fiquei em Barcelona ( e já estive aqui mais de uma centena de vezes) !! Small luxury hoteles do qual faço parte: onde estão os vossos inspectores ??

The staff was helpful and considerate. The best perk was that our room was ready mid morning when we arrived! The bed was very uncomfortable and there is no restaurant/bar.

We enjoyed our stay at the Gran Derby. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. We didn't go by the pool, but it a lot of guest were utilizing it. The hotel was very clean and quiet. I personally loved the black out shades, which helped with my jet lag. A lot of small dining options nearby and everything is walkable. Looking for to coming back.

Staff and facilities were very impressive. Even tried out the swimming pool in November. Disappointed with the road works that were happening right outside the hotel. We were not told about them and they were directly underneath our window. Work started at 7:45 am which woke us up.

Stayed for 3 nights. Personnel was great! All of them. They were really helpful and always willing to help and sorry I can not name them but I treat with a few members of their team and all of them were polite and helpful. Location I find was great. It was relatively close to main attractins of the city. Rooms were cleaned and quiet.

The stay was amazing. Location is perfect as you are not that far from city centre and main attractions. You need to take a quick public transport to reach anywhere. Bus stop is close by and metro station is 10-12 mins walk away. Overall we had an excellent stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

We were very disappointed with how the hotel handled a problem with cigarette smoke in our family room. We had booked and paid for a non-smoking family room, yet smoke repeatedly entered the room. Instead of resolving the issue with the guests who were smoking illagaly, we were asked to move rooms late in the evening with our two children. The replacement room was noticeably more worn and of a lower standard than the one we had originally booked. There was also nobody at the hotel with the authority to properly resolve the situation or offer compensation. We were told management would not be available until Monday, but we were leaving on Sunday. Breakfast vouchers were offered, but we could not use them due to our early departure and, in any case, this felt like very limited compensation. Overall, we did not receive what we had paid for: a comfortable, smoke-free family room. The hotel itself was also generally quite worn. We can therefore not recommend staying here.
