The hotel was well situated , only 10 mins from city centre, with free car parking.Room was large clean and very quiet.My only complaint being the shower did not work, as no mixer taps had been fitted, but after mentioning it to reception I was offered another room.Altogether a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Hotel which was walkable into centre of Bedford (15-20 walk), Parking spaces at front, limited. Nice reception at desk, bed was comfortable, but desk would have been difficult to sit at. Ensuite shower was up a step and toilet was right behind the door (had to shut the door to use the toliet).

Everything was great, we loved the zebra painting in the room and it was a lovely bonus to have a full fridge freezer too. We would recommend for anyone needing to visit for a show at Esquires, as it's really close.

This colorful property is clean, quiet, well-run and a good value. I needed something close to the train station and the city center, it ticked both boxes. The continental breakfast for £5.50 was a excellent for the price. I have no complaints

Room was large but had a very small window so no real daylight into the room. Bathroom was small, mould on the ceiling and the shower only gave out extremelyhot water as the mixer seemed broken. If it wasnt for the fan in the room the room would have been very hot as could not get any ventilation. Bed was comfortable, extremely small tv on the wall. Carpet was stained Towels were clean and soft.

The room was lovely; however, the shower cubicle was a bit small, so for a larger person, not much room to move. The bath towels were too small, so again, for a larger person, the towel didn't fully cover. The extractor fan was hit & miss about when it would come on, and it didn't turn off unless we shut the bathroom door, which was odd. The service from the young lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely, couldn't fault her at all. The carpet leading up to the rooms on the 2nd floor is wearing a bit thin & there are patches. Overall though, it was a nice hotel to stay in & i would stay there again.

Hotel room wasn’t overly good. Despite being advertised as being soundproof, I could hear people in other rooms nearby. Bathroom was extremely tiny. The male reception staff weren’t particularly friendly and the one who checked me out was very rude. Towels in the room were tiny and only suitable for a small child. Bar staff were very friendly which was a plus. When I checked in, the hotel took a copy of my Driving Licence for security purposes. On checkout, I asked for it to be destroyed but the receptionist couldn’t find it and was incredibly dismissive and rude when I protested and he just walked away. This is very poor and, from a legal standpoint, a breach of GDPR which I am taking further. Absolutely would not stay in this place again and wouldn’t recommend it.

Generally the hotel was clean and tidy and I have no complaints about the service or food quality. That said, I was roomed on the ground floor, but the floorboards of the room above were so thin, when the resident walked about it was like a bass drum being played. Ontop of that, the drainage must fave been in a pipe just behind the wall as it sounded like a waterfall when they used the shower/flushed the toilet

Beautiful property. Front of house gentleman was extremely welcoming and really helpful. Very friendly too. Room was perfect. Extremely happy with my stay, perfect base for the concert I attended in Bedford Park.

The hotel was well situated , only 10 mins from city centre, with free car parking.Room was large clean and very quiet.My only complaint being the shower did not work, as no mixer taps had been fitted, but after mentioning it to reception I was offered another room.Altogether a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Hotel which was walkable into centre of Bedford (15-20 walk), Parking spaces at front, limited. Nice reception at desk, bed was comfortable, but desk would have been difficult to sit at. Ensuite shower was up a step and toilet was right behind the door (had to shut the door to use the toliet).

Everything was great, we loved the zebra painting in the room and it was a lovely bonus to have a full fridge freezer too. We would recommend for anyone needing to visit for a show at Esquires, as it's really close.

I really enjoyed my stay at Verve Hotel Bedford. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was friendly and very clear about what the hotel offered and when – which made everything super easy to settle into. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a double bed room, which was a really nice touch and much appreciated. The location was great too – just a short distance from the town centre, the rail station, and a big Sainsbury’s, so everything I needed was close by. The room was clean and comfortable, and I felt well looked after during my time there. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property. Front of house gentleman was extremely welcoming and really helpful. Very friendly too. Room was perfect. Extremely happy with my stay, perfect base for the concert I attended in Bedford Park.

Staff are friendly enough and evening meal options along with Thai menu is quite good. Not worth paying for breakfast option as baked beans don’t go with Croissant and pastry(quite bizarre) Bedroom dated,pillows flat and bathroom/shower ridiculously small but clean. Very mixed bag experience but could do with an update allround in my opinion but not the worst place to stay for a couple of days

Hotel room wasn’t overly good. Despite being advertised as being soundproof, I could hear people in other rooms nearby. Bathroom was extremely tiny. The male reception staff weren’t particularly friendly and the one who checked me out was very rude. Towels in the room were tiny and only suitable for a small child. Bar staff were very friendly which was a plus. When I checked in, the hotel took a copy of my Driving Licence for security purposes. On checkout, I asked for it to be destroyed but the receptionist couldn’t find it and was incredibly dismissive and rude when I protested and he just walked away. This is very poor and, from a legal standpoint, a breach of GDPR which I am taking further. Absolutely would not stay in this place again and wouldn’t recommend it.

Generally the hotel was clean and tidy and I have no complaints about the service or food quality. That said, I was roomed on the ground floor, but the floorboards of the room above were so thin, when the resident walked about it was like a bass drum being played. Ontop of that, the drainage must fave been in a pipe just behind the wall as it sounded like a waterfall when they used the shower/flushed the toilet

Free bottle of water and a fridge.. shame some of the other guests spoilt it a bit on Fri and sat night with the noise. Sunday was perfect so I guess they had gone home .. but that can happen any where.

Stayed here for one night and had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The room was exactly as shown in the photos, clean, comfortable, and the hotel itself had a cute, charming feel. We requested an air-conditioned room and were happy that the team was able to accommodate us. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

The property initially looked ok to begin with, was ok with the room, but wasn't anything special, didn't spend much time here as was at Silverstone. Arriving back at the property for the second time after being out all day, there were marks on both the pillowcase & the duvet, which I hadn't noticed when I arrived, looked like grass marks, tho I hadn't been sat on grass any time during the event I was attending so this wasn't from me. I explained to the guy on reception who half-insisted is was from me, I didn't request a new pillowcase but showed the guy in reception the mark, didn't change the duvet either, but this put me off the place immediately so I toughed it out n just wanted to leave. I wouldn't recommend staying here and shall be asking for a refund.
