El lugar es muy bonito, el cuarto muy amplio pero había basura en los botes del baño y en el de la habitación y el estacionamiento no está en el lugar.

Getting into hotel with vehicle at 7.30pm was a real challenge. It took so long we couldn’t get a meal as kitchen shut at 9pm. Vicinity was beautiful.

Great breakfast freshly prepared and attentive staff. Room was clean and well equipped, a bit dusty in places so was probably between regular deep-cleans. A more robust filtration system on the kitchen exhaust would help reduce cooking odours from reaching rooms at the top of the building (a maintained pocket, UV & carbon filter system would do the trick). Highly recommend.

In de bar wat gegeten en gedronken Ik had geen luxe kamer 4hoog en laatste kmr op de gang. Voor ontbijt van 3kwartier en €25,00 Niet genomen. Diner elders bij vrienden. Parkeren erg onpraktisch. Rekening van €329.00 m.i klopt ook niet. Klein en simpel...zeker niet lux. Uitzicht op daken. Omgeving de grote markt wel van genoten en ook de vriendelijkheid personeel hotelbar. De foto van kamer bij boeking was een luxe kamer. Vriendelijke groet .

I booked a 26 m2 room and got a 12 m2 room. According to the receptionist all single rooms were that small, so it must be wrong info on the booking site. Parking is terrible. A normal size car won´t fit through the gate to their garage, so you have to park in the public garage at the square, which is 300m away. Walking with heavy luggage in the rain may not be fun. You can´t drive to the hotel, it´s in a blocked off square.

I had a great time staying at the Grand Hotel. Parking was a bit out of the norm for me, but I’d recommend calling ahead of time to get the parking address for their customers and go straight there. The roads were blocked to gain access to the front of the building. Overall, very friendly staff and a clean room. I would stay here again in the future.

A bit stressful not knowing if you had a parking space until 15 prior to arrival. And strange navigating from parking lot to hotel. But when you arrive…Wow. A great spot to roam about enjoying history at its finest

Great location in the heart of Bergen op Zoom. The ream was very clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly.

This Old and historic building is clean, good breakfast and comfortable bar. Great location to visit during Liberation events and access to many cafes.

Teleurgesteld met de kamer 502: - kleine douche met vuile afdichtingen, vuile scharnieren - toiletrgerief kan niet in de badkamer opgeborgen worden. - VELUX raam kan niet op kip verzekerd worden > de plastic schuif hendel is afgebroken. Vuil. - klein raampje kan niet volledig dicht - moeilijk in bureau stoel te geraken - wanneer U in de bureaustoel zit, kan je reisgezel naar de zeteltjes enkel door op het bed te lopen En dit voor een luxe kamer. Positief: - personneel - tapas bar - ontbijt

The room and facilities were ok, however there were blood stains in the sheets. Hotel staff didn’t particularly care about and said they would mention it to the cleaning staff.

Such a lovely hotel, old fashioned glamour inside, great positioning on the market square. Large room, well equipped and lovely clean spacious bathroom. Staff very helpful.

Tres bel hotel dans un style ancien en plein centre de Bergen Op Zoom. Personnel accueillant et à l'écoute. Grande chambre avec vue sur la place pour ma part.

Stayed for two nights at Hotel de Draak in Bergen op Zoom, drawn in by its rich history and beautiful public areas. And indeed, the location is excellent, the entrance is grand, and the bar is truly lovely. Unfortunately, the charm ends there. The room—labeled a suite and pitched as an upgrade from our originally booked room—was a major disappointment. Despite the “upgrade,” we went from a queen bed to two singles, something not clearly communicated in the email offering the paid upgrade. The suite itself felt more like a collection of mismatched furniture than a coherent design. Lighting in the room was absolutely dire. Besides the bedside lamps—both hanging on by a thread and neither of which provided usable reading light—there were only two more light sources in the entire room. The overall effect left the space dim and gloomy, barely brighter than twilight. Maintenance across the suite was poor. There was a nightlight in the bedroom that couldn't be switched off, and the bathroom, while functional, featured a bathtub with a shower overhead and a flimsy three-piece folding screen that wouldn’t stay in place—a trip hazard and a daily frustration. Hotel de Draak may be the oldest hotel in the Netherlands, and while that history is worn proudly, it’s unfortunately also worn through the guest rooms. The public areas sparkle with charm and character, but the rooms are in dire need of refurbishment and better upkeep to live up to the hotel’s storied legacy.

Terrible air in the room, hot even with the AC on. Loud, every step in the hallway sounded like they were in room. Apart from the above, the stay was pleasant.

Was at the hotel for a month, very nice staff, but there is extremely great potential for improvement when it comes to washing in the room. the breakfast was good but could have been more varied. I know this is an old hotel, but it was incredibly loud and poorly insulated in the room. but all in all a good stay.

Prachtig hotel in een mooie stad. Heerlijke bedden en een goed verzorgt ontbijt.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel finely. We did unfortunately have to change rooms due to a buzzing noise from the refrigeration system. Fortunately, this went easily and we were upgraded to one of the suites. It should be mentioned that the front of the hotel and restaurant 1937 both look fantastic but the experience towards and in the rooms is authentic and somewhat dated.

Sehr schöne Lage am Marktplatz im Zentrum. Unser Zimmer war in einer Depandance, die nicht mit dem Hotel verbunden war. Zimmer aus den 90ern. Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Gäste, die über ein Portal, z. b..Expedia gebucht haben, müssen 12,50 € für die Nutzung des Wellnessbereichs zahlen. Preis- Leistung waren für mich nicht in Ordnung

Excellent location and right in the thick of things for the annual ‘Carnaval’. Superb dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and generous breakfast. Staff were very helpful but we had to remind them about our ‘VIP’ benefits through Hotels.com

Prachtige locatie en mooi versiert in kerstsfeer. Tip: oordopjes zijn verkrijgbaar bij receptie, maar als je eenmaal in bed ligt en last ondervindt van het lawaai buiten, dan ga je niet zo gauw weer naar de receptie voor oordopjes. Dus handig als ze altijd op de kamers aanwezig zijn.

Terrible experience: our room shared a wall with a night club. We recorded 107DB and we’re not able to sleep. The contact with the reception was friendly, but didn’t help at all. The hotel manager apologized in the mornings, unfortunately offering nothing else than a free upgrade on our next stay (which will obviously never happen). We can’t recommend this establishment. It ruined our stay in the city of Bergen.

Really good hotel. Room was excellent. Could do with a lounge area to relax in but plenty of bars close to property. Breakfast was poor but when we mentioned it the hotel refunded with out being asked.
