Nice enough hotel, but it's really all about the exterior. The room was pretty basic, certainly not on a par with other 4 star hotels I've stayed at. We stayed for 4 nights, including a busy weekend, and there was only one lift working the whole time. This wasted a lot of time having to stop at nearly every floor and squeeze too many people, often with luggage, into the lift. Often had to let it go and wait even longer for it to come back. The escalator on the outside of the hotel that takes you up to the street level where the train station is was also out of action the whole time. I probably wouldn't have mentioned this, but having read reviews from the weeks previous to our trip, I see that it was not just bad timing on our part, but appears to have been going on for some time. Not sure of this is owned/operated by the hotel, but it is something they should be working to get sorted as it's how you access the hotel when you arrive. The access to the reception area is a little awkward as you walk around the side of the bar and can get busy at breakfast time as it's also where the breakfast is served. Staff were friendly enough, the bar staff in particular were very nice (although we weren't able to get drinks one evening because the card machine had broken and for some reason that meant we weren't able to charge to the room either).

The facilities were good including swimming pool and fitness area but the cleanliness was not up to European standard . The cleaner left a dirty cloth near the sink area. The bed however was comfy and the room was spacious .

Hôtel bien situé près du parking et de la gare, dans le piétonnier centre ville on se croirait à Disney dans un village de poupées. Chambre pourrait être rafraîchie, pas de kleenex. Pas de Pour cette gamme. Hammam en panne. Piscine jolie. Wellness propre. Chambre de luxe pourtant mais Basique et lit très confortable. Point très positif: Super bien insonorisé et calme! Le jour de la fête du roi et dans le piétonnier bondé on entend rien fenêtre fermée au 6e étage donc assez calme! Ménage moyen: bonbon sous la tenture et moutons de poussière sous le lit … :-(

The staff were amazing here! They were readily able to help out and answer our questions and offer their suggestions! The hotel was very close to the train station, but you did not hear the trains! It was very clean! The sauna and steam room were an added bonus!! I contacted them beforehand as we were celebrating a birthday and they decorated the room and brought us a welcome package (There was an added charge for thsi but it was worth it!). I would highly recommend!!

Het was echt een vreselijk hotel. Zal vandaag ook een officiële klacht sturen richting het hotel. Kamer van ruim 270 euro en GEEN airco | niet werkende Sauna | armoedig interieur | stinkend douche putje | Smerige vloer. Ik zou echt afraden om hier zoveel geld aan uit te geven!

Wonderful place, everything is beautiful and the area outside is very photogenic. Lots of shops, restaurants and things for the kids. Very walkable and safe. If you need to park the front desk has a small discount so park out front and check in before you find the garage.

Upon checking into our junior suite, we found that the cleanliness was not up to standard, with noticeable stains on the floor, walls, and baby bed. Additionally, some elements of the room’s interior were damaged. We were promptly offered an alternative room, which was an improvement but still did not meet the quality we would expect from a 4-star establishment, especially considering the price. As compensation, we were offered a complimentary coffee, which was a nice gesture but felt insufficient given the issues we encountered. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we found the stay to be overpriced and below the level of quality we had anticipated.

My husband and I stayed here about 2-3 weeks ago for our honeymoon. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! We loved this hotel and it was our favorite stay during our trip. The room is spacious, clean, and we loved the easily accessible clean drinking water. The staff were helpful and the hotel itself (the building) is super cool to get great photos of. Not to mention the convenient location to shops and the train station. The McDonald’s is also convenient for an affordable and quick meal. We can’t recommend this place enough and hope to stay here again in the not too distant future.

Rooms are very dirty, first room had muddy floors. We contacted the concierge and they advised that they could give us another room. The new room we got had crumbs all over the floor. Bathroom was clean enough. The insulation between floors are not great, we could hear people walking at all times and the noise from people up late kept us up as well. Pro is how big the rooms are compared to the rooms in Amsterdam city centre.

It’s quite shocking that your rooms have nonpower outlet close to the bed (night stand distance). Some people have to use CPAP machines for sleeping and I had to use a chair as a bridge to connect my cpap machine to the closest outline (and I don’t want the machine which pumps air into my noise to suck up air right from the floor. Also, my wife didn’t like that there is a glass wall to the washroom, it’s a lack of privacy.

Room was to warm, we couldnt turn the temperature down as it was controlled by the hotel and it was to noisy to have the windows open, the escalator outside was making a horrendous noise which kept us awake the first night but it was finally turned off during the second night. Das Hotel ist sehr gut. Der Bahnhof keine zwei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt (Nein, man hört im Hotel nichts vom Bahnhof). Was mich eher störte waren die Betten. Zwei Betten zusammen geschoben die bei der kleinsten Bewegung auseinander rutschten. Aber auch war die Lüftungsanlage für mein Befinden sehr laut. Ohne Probleme wurde unser Zimmer getauscht! Das Frühstück war sehr gut - für jeden sicher was dabei. Von Butter und Brot bis hin zu Lachs & Sekt! Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very nice. We appreciated having shopping opportunities and the train station so close by. The hotel restaurant was good, the breakfast buffet had a nice selection, and the gym was a plus. However, our stay in room 408 was disturbed by very loud pipes whenever water was used in other rooms, which made it hard to sleep at night. The bathroom had a window that let light into the bedroom, so turning it on at night disturbed others. It would also have been nice to have complimentary shampoo, and the gym lacked free weights.

We overall really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean and the service is fantastic. My only complaint would be the twin bed is quite small and moves around if you turn over in bed. However the bed was comfortable, the room in great condition and the location was perfect.

We had a great time, only quibble is check in was 1500. We had to wait to 1630. With no offer of a complementary drink, we just sat and waited in the lobby. Then we had to ask when our room was ready! Not cool for a booked 2 x suit top of the shelf rooms - the rooms were amazing worth the wait. Reception just need to work on their hospitality, respectfully.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights, whole duration of time the shower head was not working and after asking stuff to fix it and them supposedly fixing it-still was not working, fridge was not working till they either change or fix it, iron fell apart while being plugged in-luckily i did not got electric shock, when we came to lobby customer service and ask for partial refund or discount - they refused, they never offered us another room for all these inconveniences, and gave us cold unfriendly attitude, especially lady who said she was the manager. Hotel located in nice place and looks pretty outside, breakfast had good choices, but amenities in the room are old and non-working and some customer service employees of this hotel should not be working in hospitality industry

This hotel was fantastic once again. I discovered a few years ago and stay here every May during my annual trip to the Netherlands. The train station is across the street and within a few stops of Amsterdam Centraal and airport. Convenient cycling routes will easily take you into surrounding neighborhoods and local tourist attractions. Convenient shopping and grocery store are within steps of the hotel. As for the hotel itself, the staff is amazing and more than will to assist, the breakfast is 5 stars, rooms are very clean, lots of amenities, and is bike friendly if you bring your own bike. I will stay here when I return next May. There’s no reason to even consider staying elsewhere. I highly recommend!!!

Loved the look of the hotel and the convenience of shopping, dining and transportation. There was one gentleman who worked the front desk the day we checked out. He was extremely helpful in finding us transportation in the early morning hours when the trains and buses were not operational. We would not have made it to our next destination without him. That level of service is hard to come by. Thank you!

What a great hotel. Quirky in a prefect location. The staff could not do enough for you it was a pleasure to be there . We recently stayed in London hotels with the usual arrogance but we felt comfortable and . Clean friendly professional, my son had his 9th birthday and they gave him a hand written card , some chocolate and sweets. Highly recommended them

We arrived an earlier than the check in time and the staff held our baggage for us while we explored the area and came back at our check in time. There was an additional city fee which we paid upon arrival but it was clearly stated that was the case on the booking page. Our room was spacious. We noticed a few crumbs on the ground but nothing that bothered us all too much. The water temperature control was a little weird, the water would go from cold to boiling with only the slightest adjustment of the handle. Complimentary slippers were provided upon request. Location of the hotel is great, only a 5 minute walk to the bus / train station. Grocery store and plenty of options for food and shopping right outside the property. Staff were very helpful and friendly!

My husband and I booked at two-night stay at Zaandam's Inntel Hotel. The building is beautiful. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We included the breakfast buffet in our package. It was a delicious, convenient option for us. As travelers, we look to three important details when rating our stays: bed comfort, shower strength/temperature and location. All three were exceptional during our stay. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and clean, with comfortable sleeping conditions and shower usage. The hotel is right next to the Zaandam train station and only 2 stops away from Amsterdam Central. If you are looking for a clean hotel, right next to shopping and dining and outside the busy city nights, this place is great. There is a shopping strip right near the hotel, with bars and dining options a 5 minute walk away. They have bicycles for use and getting back and forth from Amsterdam was a 11 minute train ride. We really liked the ability to unwind at night in quiet, but having easy access to the city and all of the canals, tours and attractions.

I was initially very concerned when I booked this hotel. It looked obviously odd (fit perfectly with the area). The train was directly across the street and ran constantly to Amsterdam Central. Train was inexpensive and allowed us to be away from downtown, but close enough to quickly go each day. Highly recommend this property. Even the train to/from the airport. Close to the windmills.

Tolles Hotel! Bahnstation und Shoppingcenter direkt daneben, trotzdem sehr ruhig im Hotelzimmer. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten!

Drie jaar geleden ook geweest. Toen € 170,- betaald, nu € 230,-. Is aardige inflatie en geen zichtbare verbetering t.o.v. vorig verblijf. Onhandig dat één lift kapot is en één toilet beneden. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Lekker ontbijt. De koffie is niet goed! Kan eigenlijk niet in deze tijd met zulke goede apparaten in omloop.

Room was clean, comfortable and quiet particularly considering it was on road and train station side. Bed was two singles that were not joined together. Great location for restaurants, shops, and sightseeing. Great location for access to the airport and Amsterdam central train station.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, nur ein paar Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und am Ende einer Fußgängerzone. Einzigartiges Außendesign. Zimmer modern mit großzügigem Badezimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Overall I really enjoyed our stay my complaints were there were no plugs by bed, the breakfast was not open right at 7 we waited 10 mins and then had to leave. But what we loved about the hotel was its location - close to transportation, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast had a good variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others!
