The staffs are very kind!! And Convenient location and transportation But I couldn't see out the window because the exterior of the building was under construction, and I couldn't sleep because people were making noise until past midnight.

The first room given to us had a horrible view of workers painting the back of the hotel. We complained and they gave us a better room at the front of the hotel. The bathroom had quite new fittings but the shower door was not very good.

Die bei Expedia gezeigten Zimmer/ Bilder entsprechen nicht der Realität. Einen so dreckigen Teppichboden habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Unsere Kinder haben sich geekelt den Teppich mit Socken zu betreten. Das Mobiliar heruntergekommen. Gegen alt habe ich nichts aber gegen Verwahrlosung schon. Bad: Schimmel, von der Wand halb herunterhängende Handtuchhalter, Einfach nur schlimm. Das Baugerüst vor dem Hotel und die zugeklebten Fenster sind nirgends erwähnt. Aufzug mindestens 3 Tage defekt. Obwohl ich zuvor angerufen hatte und mir ein renoviertes Zimmer zugesagt wurde, kam man diesem Versprechen nicht nach. Der Rezeptionist wusste genau wovon ich redete und zuckte immerzu mit den Schultern. Wir kamen wohl zu spät an; da sich eine andere Familie über dasselbe Zimmer zuvor beschwert hatte und man denen "unser" reserviertes Zimmer gegeben hatte. Man könne nichts für uns tun. Frühstück hat man mir kostenlos angeboten aber esse ich in einer solchen Bleibe, deren Zimmer so vor Dreck strotzen? Nein, sicher nicht. Ein solches Zimmer hätte man nicht vermieten dürfen. Könnte eigentlich eine recht charmante Bleibe sein aber die Hotelfühung/ Eigentümer haben es nicht drauf. Ich würde sagen, ruft vorher an aber auch darauf wäre kein Verlass. It is an ild hotel but the bathroom has been updated, No A/C, so be aware during summer time. Lift is small only fits 4 people without luggages. Close to supermarkets and restaurants and walking distance to subway and tram stations.

Das Hotel ist eine Baustelle, das wurde im Vorfeld nicht mitgeteilt. Fenster von außen verklebt, Gerüst davor und morgens Baulärm sowie Personen vor dem Fenster. Die Teppiche in den Fluren und Zimmern sehr fleckig - haben ihre beste Zeit weit überschritten! Keine Deckenlampen im Zimmer - zum Arbeiten an dem Schreibtisch ist die Tischlampe und die Stehlampe am Bett ungeeignet. Ansonsten schönes altes Bürgerhaus mit hohen Decken, geschnitzten Türen und historischem Treppenhaus. Umgebung gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber gute Anbindung an den Nahverkehr.

Good location close to the subway and not far from from Berlin Hbf. The staff were helpful and the room was clean. There was building work outside but that didn’t bother us to much. The room and the hallways were old and in need of some renovation. There was no air condition and the fridge didn’t work. The price of the room was good.

Room was clean, staff were exceptional, and location is great. It is an older building with lots of character. Tram and bus are right out front. 4 tram stops from the hauptbahnhof. Great neighborhood with a park and Biergarten right across the street. Will definitely stay here again.

L hotel etait en travaix lors de notre sejour. Nous n avons pas ete prevenu lirs de la reservation. Nos fenetres souvraient sur les echafaudages et etaient pleines de coulures de peinture. Le menage n a apas ete correctement fait avant notre arrive. Nous avons trouve in sac sous un lit et une chaussette sous le radiateurs

-keine Klimaanlage, Zimmer glich einer Sauna -Babybett kostet 15€ pro Nacht -Aufzug nur über Treppen erreichbar, nicht barrierefrei -es wurde in 4 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht einmal gesaugt - an einem Tag gab es kein warmes Wasser, wir hatten unseren 10 Monate alten Sohn dabei und draußen hatte es 35 Grad. Dem Personal war es schlichweg egal, wir hatten uns 2x beschwert, interessierte niemanden -alles wirklich in die Jahre gekommen

Freundliches Personal. Sehr bequemes Bett. Teppich sollte in naher Zukunft gewechselt werden, da zu viele Flecken. Hotel sehr gut mit ÖPNV erreichbar. Viele Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Stedet er nedslidt. Gulvtæpperne er plettede og klistre, og vores værelse var beskidt. Rengøring havde fx overset en chokoladebar på gulvet fra de tidligere gæster. Værelset var varmt og den bordventilator der var i rummet larmede og var derfor ikke til den store hjælp, hvis man også ville sove i nogenlunde ro. Bruseren i badet kunne kun sidde i en fast position, hvis man kilede den fast op imod loftet. Personalet var venlige, hvilket er det eneste plus hotellet kan få. Kan på ingen måder anbefale stedet.

I don't think I can offer a negative enough review of this location. The room we were promised was completely different from what we were shown. The place was filthy, noisy, smelled of smoke, and the air conditioning was non-existent. Windows were broken, paint was chipping off, floor was stained, and the bed looked awful. There was no other additional room to offer us. In exchange. We had to petition Expedia to prevent payment. We checked out immediately, and checked ourselves into another hotel which was vastly superior.

Hotel is old and in bad shape. My room was very warm and there was no aircon. Breakfast did definitely not deliver on what was promised on the website. Service was good and people were nice.
Hotel is old and in bad shape. My room was very warm and there was no aircon. Breakfast did definitely not deliver on what was promised on the website. Service was good and people were nice.

Although it may look good from the pictures, it's not. The room was awful, the bed's were uncomfortable and the decor was from the 1940's. It was clean though. No kettle in the room and the view from the room was scaffolding, as the forgot to tell us about the building work that was going on, from 7am in the morning i may add. The bunkbeds nearly fell apart and there was no air con, please don't stay here, it's not worth it

The room was big and clean. The hotel is close to the metro station and the neighborhood is very nice with a lot of restaurants and bars. One of the children's bed was squeaking. The hotel exterior is being renovated but the rooms could use renovating also, as they seem a bit old and stale.

This is a beautiful old building in need of a lot of restoration work which it is currently getting. Aye, there's the rub: construction workers woke us up at 7:00 am most mornings doing this work. We had no idea that this was going to be a thing until we checked in, yet even then the warning was work would commence at 8:00 am. LIES. The good thing is that when I complained they comped us free breakfast for every morning we were there. I was ok with that since we didn't go all the way to Germany to sleep anyway. But a few more winks would have been nice.

The guy who did the check in hasn’t been kind, he asked the payment as first before to assign the rooms and give us all the necessary information. The rooms had old furnitures, the Roma didn’t look like the pics in the website

The location is very good. The building is old and beautiful. The room was nice and clean however we had no vue. The windows were covered. The first receptionist didn't speak a word of German. But he was very friendly though. The second receptionist spoke English but charged us for leaving our luggage in the reception! We were checking out and wanted to spend the day in Berlin. That was very unfriendly and greedy!

I can honestly say, it felt anything but an upgrade. The room was old and worn down, with no working lights or air conditioning. The hotel itself is very old. The rooms look like they haven't even been renovated for a long time, and everything looked old. Since it was a hostel, despite getting a private room, it was very loud and you can hear everything. The front desk staff was not friendly either. Bathroom was clean. I liked the neighborhood!

Positives: The location was very nice, lots of restaurants and cafe's nearby. Short distance to U-bahn station. Spaceous room. Negative: We reserved a room through Expedia, which was advertised with 4 individual beds. However, we got a room with two beds one wobbly bunk bed. Fully booked, so no possibility to change room. The personnel told that it would be needed to contact them directly to guarantee a "wish" for individual beds. One of us slept on the couch for one week. The breakfast was OK, but quite high price. With the same price we could find superb quality breakfast in the nearby cafe.

古い建物をホテルにしたらしく、とても雰囲気がよかったです。中心街から離れていますが、近くには小さいショッピングモール、dm(ドイツのマツキヨ)があります。トラムの駅もそこそこ近く、アクセスが悪いわけではないです。シャワーの水圧も弱いわけではなく、清潔感あり、寝室、洗面所、トイレがドアで区切られているのが個人的には気に入りました。ドイツに来慣れていて、駅前ホテル以外を探している方などにはおすすめじゃないでしょうか。

Our room was big and there was enough space for all suitcases during our 3-week trip which felt like a relief after many tiny hotel rooms. The location is great, a few bus stations from Central Station, even a night bus connection and U very close. Totally recommend because this hotel is good value for price.

El hotel estuvo bien, la habitación era espaciosa, camas cómodas y bastante nuevas. Es recomendable, lo volveríamos a elegir. Good location close to the subway and not far from from Berlin Hbf. The staff were helpful and the room was clean. There was building work outside but that didn’t bother us to much. The room and the hallways were old and in need of some renovation. There was no air condition and the fridge didn’t work. The price of the room was good.

Das Hotel befindet sich unmittelbar vis-a-vis des Kleinen(!) Tiergartens in Moabit. Ich mag diese Gegend abseits der Touristenströme, die trotzdem fußläufig zum (großen) Tiergarten und (notfalls) auch zum Hauptbahnhof bzw S-Bhf Bellevue liegt und einen sehr klassischen Berliner Charme hat. Das Haus wurde gerade renoviert, einiges war noch etwas unfertig. Das Zimmer war vor allem morgens sehr laut 1. wegen Bauarbeiten im Innenhof - und weil es 2. ausgerechnet an dem Gang im Erdgeschoss lag, in dem abreisende Gäste schon früh morgens ihr Gepäck deponieren konnten. Leider gibt es derzeit Bauarbeiten an der Fassade. Es wurde am Morgen laut. Des Weiteren war ich von der Auswahl des Frühstücksbüfetts enttäuscht. Wer 16,50 € für viele Tütenprodukte bezahlt, möchte nicht für einen Cafe Crema extra bezahlen.

The hotel is old and poorly maintained; the carpets are in terrible condition, and the shower screen was unhinged.
