Very clean throughout, staff helpful and breakfast options good. Room was on the small side for 3 of us, especially as the only mirror near a socket or counter was in the bathroom. Luggage storage available before and after check in. Great location, only 5 mins walk to station. Snacks and drinks available to buy in reception, however it would’ve been good to have a water cooler available rather than buying plastic bottles. Overall very pleased with our stay.

accommodation and breakfast are good, everything within walking distance and otherwise with the metro, only point was that the bathroom smelled of a sewer, but this would be looked into. furthermore for the price a good hotel to stay a few days in Berlin. parking is possible in the parking basement of the hotel, only the price is quite high for a day (27 euros)

Ruhige Lage, Einkaufsmöglichkeit unter der Woche bis 24 Uhr direkt vor der Tür (auch im Hotel möglich), Parkplatz direkt im Hotel (Eigenanreise mit Auto - zwar etwas teurer aber immernoch i.O. im Vergleich), Brandenburger Tor fussläufig in 15-20 min erreichbar Potsdammer Platz in 10-15 min erreichbar. Service war in unserem Fall nett und hilfsbereit Das Frühstück war für uns gut und reichhaltig genug. Zimmer in unserem Fall etwas klein, aber das wussten wir im vorraus.

S Bahn and M41 bus conveniently within few minutes walking. Was disappointed that hotel had no refrigerators in room, no workout space, and no on-site laundry facility.

Located 10 min walking to Checkpoint Charlie. Convenient, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was impressive and plentiful! Lots of choice. Underground parking was 25$ per night. But it was convenient. Check-in went smoothly. Room was small but perfect.

Good hotel in city centre with parking underneath the hotel (pay extra but it's competitive and convenient). Great breakfast. Only issues were pillows, and a bit of a mess up when our third person in the room arrived the next day. BUT on the whole good.

Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. S-Bahn und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Trotz ausgebuchtem Hotel war es nachts extrem leise. Die Betten und Kopfkissen sind leider für unser Empfinden zu hart und die Preise für den Tiefgaragenplatz extrem teuer.

The hotel is located in a convinient area and the breakfast is decent but other than that it was not good at all. When i arrived i recieved a room that smelled completely like cigarettes. After i was moved to another room i was surprised to find a pair of underwear from a previous guest laying on the floor. When i told the feont desk it disnt seemed they care to much. I explained that this is replusive and means that the rest of the room wasnt cleaned as well so i request a full clean. After waiting in my room and no one arriving i contacted hotels.com and only after that did the hotel cleaning staff show up. The next day i put a sign on my door not to enter. When i returned from my meetings outside the hotel i was surprised to see my room had been made up and the sign was put back next to the TV. Besides this my colleague who stayed in another room recieved a wake up call at 4am for no reason at all.

We had an excellent stay. The room was clean and suited our needs. The choice of breakfast items was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day. The location is good with bus stops and U-Bahn stations nearby.

Service im Frühstücksraum war gut bis sehr gut. Rezeption war durchschnittlich, wir haben einen Tag unser Zimmer nicht gesäubert bekommen. Ich musste erst mehr oder weniger drauf hinweisen, dass wir zumindest einen kleinen Ersatz (Gutschein für ein Getränk) bekommen. Sehr positiv war das prompte Erscheinen des Hausmeisters (der im Übrigen sehr freundlich und kompetent war), als unsere Badtür klemmte.

1. The sofa bed in my room was dangerous. It had pieces of metal sticking out which hurt my sons leg. 2. The room was cold. 3. There wasn't a hot breakfast and the eggs weren't scrambled properly they were microwaved.

Zimmer sauber, Bad etwas merkwürdig mit einer Zwischentür, die entweder die Toilette oder das ganze Bad vom Rest des Raumes trennt, wobei man im ersten Fall vom Bad aus durch die transparente Duschwand beste Sicht auf die Person auf der Toilette hat, wodurch das Schließen der Tür zur Toilette absolut sinnfrei erscheint :) Ansonsten viel zu wenig Platz im Essbereich, zu Stoßzeiten sehr langsames Auffüllen und lange Warteschlangen für Heißgetränke.

Very hard / firm bed. Bathroom was small and lacked privacy if one guest needed the toilet at the same time the other guest was using the sink or shower. Parking garage and spaces are not designed for cars larger than 2 doors, let alone a mini-van.

The hotel was fine, staff very friendly, location very good - only 10 minutes walk to Potsdammer Platz. Only two issues 1) room was small - 3 of us meant no seats as only settee was used as 2nd bed, and 2) on Friday night it was very noisy outside (we were at the back of the hotel but there were groups of people laughing and drinking till 1am, so loud we had to use earplugs even with windows closed and that made the room very warm)

Good location close to Potsdamer Platz and S Bahn station. Breakfast was quite poor in terms of options and can get busy but still pastries, cereals and yogurts available. Have stayed in other Holiday Inns in Germany with a lot more options. Would have preferred a safe in room and the air con didn’t work so was hot all the time. However, would still recommend based on price and location.

Staff and facilities were excellent. For the price paid we were very happy with our rooms (2 x 2 singles). Only gripe was the air con didn't appear to work so it was very hot in bed. Hotel was in a good position, only 10-15 minute walk from Checkpoint Charlie, 5 minutes from Fuhrerbunker.

Lekker ontbijt, centrale locatie. Zeer kleine hotelkamer paste niet eens een stoel in (zoals wel op de foto stond vermeld). We hadden 3 kamers geboekt, 1 kamer paste alleen een bed in. Terwijl voor alle kamers hetzelfde was betaald. Kon geen andere kamer worden geregeld daar het hotel vol zat.

Great location! 2 things to address- we had someone smoking on our floor and we could smell it in the rooms. The women at the front were not overly friendly or helpful however there was one gentleman that was attentive and nice to look into our concerns.

Reception staff exceedingly good . Polite well mannered , gave good advise for us tourists from UK with maps taxi services . Ordered taxis promptly for local tourist places and finally to airport . Being able to leave suitcases on last day after checkout till time of later flight was excellent and very convenient for us . House keeping daily cleaning of room provided fresh linen and replaced teas and coffees . Breakfast provided variety of food . Location very suitable as a short walk took us to Potsdam platz where plent of food shops and tourist buses available . Enjoyed our 5 day stay .

Great location. When we first arrived we thought we would be too far out but you’re just a 5 minute walk from the main area. Hotel was what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn - functional, clean, lovely staff and decent breakfast. Nice coffee shops and restaurants close to hotel. It was pretty easy for train transfers from airport.

We stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express City Centre. It was the perfect base for activities all around Berlin. Easy to get to between two different subway lines. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The room was small but sufficient for three people (1 adult, 2 adult sized teens). The area was quiet. A excellent choice for exploring Berlin.

The staff and property were very nice. The subway was about a five minute walk. It was not to central to the tourist spots. Everything was a 10-30min walk. Their was a supermarket directly across the street which made it very convenient. Nice little coffee and gelato shops across the street. Nice Sushi restaurant across the street. Nice stay.

Läget var perfekt för oss som rörde oss runt Checkpoint Charlie och mot Kreutzberg. Rent och lugnt och tyst, bra sängar och fräscht på rummet. Dåligt med vattentryck i duschen och en basic frukost (ingen bacon, korv eller kokt ägg). Överlag ett bra hotell som jag rekommenderar.

For a solo sightseeing trip the hotel was good value, clean and comfortable and very convenient for access to the city's excellent public transport systems. The breakfast was very good though it often took a while to find a table.

It was amazing because I was initially allocated a small room but it was changed when I requested for a change. My request for late checkout was granted being an IHG member. The only but they don't have a chef to cook hot stuff such as Sausages nor scrambled egg.

Gutes Hotel, freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag. Im März waren wir zu Gast im Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam. Dort hat man verschiedene Frühstückszeiten um einen eventuellen Gästeandrang zu vermeiden - würden wir uns in Berlin auch wünschen. Fazit: Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende in Berlin.
