Apartments am Brandenburger Tor

We enjoyed the apartment for 4 nights.. It is central to lots of sights with mant eateries close by! It was very clean, quiet and large enough not to feel cramped! Great WIFI and on cold rainy days, good choice of TV apps! The kitchen is fully functional with all you need! The shower is a bit small, but aren’t they all. The in process was great, the girls friendly. English spoken

Communication with the company was poor. Questions over payment were not clear until I checked in at the office. Turned out there should not have been any questions at all. Payment was made during checking in which was quick and easy. Apartment was more than we needed but was comfortable. Walking distance to central station and most tourist areas. Used nearby metro once due to rain. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Would stay here again.

The actual apartment is wonderful. It's an attractive spacious studio with a clever layout. Very quiet, with huge sunny windows. Excellent location for sightseeing, amenities, and transport. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Shower/tub combination. The bed is in a corner, so if two of you stay then one will have to climb over the other to get in and out of bed. Five shiny gold stars for the apartment itself! The amenities aren't as good. The elderly washing machine gets things as clean as if you hand-washed them. It leaves clothes surprisingly wet. There is only a drying rack for drying. You have to supply your own washing detergent - but who wants to buy an entire container of detergent for a short stay? Perhaps the heating was turned off for April? It was chilly in the studio, esp at night. I was provided with 1 tiny soap and 2 loo rolls for an 11 night stay. No change of sheets, no cleaning. When I requested more supplies, they said yes, but I had to make the trek to the office to pick them up. Communications were inexcusably bad. I normally never need to email hosts. But I needed to write to them to check what consumables were provided, to highlight an overcharge, and to say the washing machine was not working. They never replied to any of these. But they did without any warning send a washing machine repair person! Would I stay again? Yes. The property itself is great. Sort out the management processes and the laundry facilities, and it would be 5 stars.

The apartment was spacious and clean. Also near lots of restaurants and places to see. But the check-in was very stressful if you will be late.The instructions said to contact the property which I did. Send the necessary informations like passport. Filled the online informations. Send email 3 times and even follow up thru phone 3 times also. I was told that I will receive the code for the key a day before I arrive but did not receive at all even I was fully paid before coming. Will come here I don’t think so.
