8 night stay in an Executive room on the 3rd floor. Room was great size, felt like a mini apartment, huge bathroom, quiet at night, even though window faced the main Street. Great blackout curtains kept the room dark if I wanted to lie in - huge plus. 2 issues: there was an unidentifiable stain on the oversized cushion that decorated the bed; didn't like it, but as I didn't need/use it, I would just put it in a corner of the room. The other issue was that there was a slight smell coming from the drain in the corner of the bathroom. It was sometimes stronger than at other times, but I never smelled it when I was in the bedroom, which was far around the corner. Hotel itself is a bit dated and could do with a refurbish, but is still in GREAT shape. REALLY liked how informal the hotel feels. It is so grand and has a lot of traffic - people checking in and out and entering and leaving during the day all the time, somehow making for a less stuffy, potentially intimidating atmosphere. This might not matter to some, but did to me. While there is constant security and a strong camera presence everywhere, you don't feel like you're being constantly watched. Breakfast is continental, it's ok, no high quality protein options like other places I've stayed, but food is plentiful, there is always a free table. Gym was a little below par, had broken down machines, but some free weights. Staff was friendly. Good location.

Tiny gym with almost no equipment. No cups, no water, no tea, no coffee in the room. No hot food at the breakfast except scrampled eggs. Not even coffee machine. Worst of my stays for more than 100 dollars per night..I stayed last year in Savoy Phillipines and it was so good and luxury hotel. Thats why I expected something similar. Too bad.

Muito bom hotel. Excelente quarto, com localização central. Tinha um vazamento de agua no banheiro, que reclamei 2 vezes. Excelente cafe da manhã. A academia é pequena e tem equipamentos quebrados que não foram reparados na semana que estive hospedado, como por exemplo as 2 esteiras. O hotel emprestou 1 cartão Sube, pois foi impossivel encontrar o mesmo para compra. Muito bom atendimento. Recomendo.

Very nice decor, with very high ceilings and interesting artwork. The sit down breakfast had a variety of cold, fresh foods, but somewhat limited in hot foods (only had a hot sausage thing one morning). Gym was nice to have, but there was nothing available to wipe down the equipment after use. There were adequate power outlets in the room for all our devices! The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful in all aspects--from storing our bags, to arranging taxis, to assisting with exchanging currency to cleaning the rooms. I felt bad that we kept asking the front desk staff questions, as there was no concierge, but they always were very patient and overly helpful.

The savoy hotel is a charming and picturesque hotel that affords its guests understated comfort and relaxing luxury. The front desk staff is happy to assist with your needs and were helpful when I needed transportation, luggage storage, and room support. The bellhops were cordial and always willing to hail a cab/taxi, store luggage, and open the door for you. Room service provided adequate cleanliness and timeliness. Unfortunately, the continental breakfast was a bit of a disappointment and the lobby lounge was lackluster. During our stay we observed several customers in the lounge walkout apoplectic about the lack of service as well as scarcity of items remaining on the menu (i.e. They have several dessert items on the menu however only 2 were available during our stay). It should be noted that in Buenos Aires you are a guest and the language is Spanish; no exceptions. Having said that I encountered some communication barriers, that had I spoken Spanish better, could have resolved. This was a fairly common theme everywhere I went again Buenos Aires you'll need to learn more Spanish as English is exceedingly rare; nothing a few hand gestures cannot resolve. One other issue was our room location. I believe the room service quarters and carts were stored near our room or something as in the early morning I heard loud banging every morning and as the hotel seems older you could anyone running down the hall and having a full conversation next door.

The hotel is in a beautifully restored building in Buenos Aires that is very centrally located. The breakfast buffet was top notch and the hotel bar is beautiful and drinks were great. Our room was very comfortable and the front desk staff were very helpful with arranging transportation to the cruise terminal and airport.

Clean room, staff and service. I would rate 5 stars if the soundproofing was on point but it’s an old property so it’s understandable. Otherwise; we had an amazing stay here and would stay again. Central location, very good service. Nice water pressure, marble bathroom, bathrobe and slippers nice touch.

This hotel is quite old, built in 1910. It is well preserved however, and as you walk through it you can imagine how elegant it must have once been. It is walking distance from most of the tourist sites in Recoleta. The staff at the front desk is superb. They are knowledgeable about Buenos Aires and happily help you plan your day. We stayed in one of the premium corner rooms. Although more expensive, those rooms are enormous with high ceilings, king beds, a sofa bed and a large writing desk. It was nice having a large window access to a balcony. The bathroom has been modernized and is spacious. The breakfast buffet is extensive, but other than the fresh fruit, coffee and yogurt, was nothing special. There is sufficient seating for many guests. We would happily stay at the Savoy again.

Checkin staff was extremely friendly and allowed us to check in early. The hotel is very historic and charming. Rooms were very clean and modern. Only complaint is that we ate in the lobby bar twice where they only had 2 people working and the service was extremely slow. Meals were very good though and excellent value for the prices.

All the employees were very friendly and helpful. A discussion shout out to Daniel, the bellhop, he was sooooo good at his job. Quick to add with luggage, doors, questions, taxis, etc. The breakfast was vast and delicious and served for 3 1/2 hours! We will definitely recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Buenos Aires :)

This is a great hotel!! The hotel staff is fantastic and friendly. If you arrive well before check-in time or have a flight well after check-out time, you may use their luggage depository (a locked and watched room) free of charge which was a huge bonus for us. The hotel staff is able to communicate in English, which was very helpful for us. The bellhop Mattias is the superstar in the hotel lobby and seems to enjoy interacting with guests; he is very helpful and can provide very useful information about the area. The hotel is clean and in great condition, and the building has a very opulent and decorative architecture and style. We absolutely loved the way everything looked! The area is great - you are approximately 30 minutes walk from Florida Street or Recoleta Cemetary, and the Obelisk and Congressional buildings are even closer. The neighborhood feels safe. Cafes and restaurants aplenty. Hotel staff is able to call for a taxi and get a flat rate for you to the airport, too. We had a fantastic stay! I highly recommend this hotel.

Stuff didn't speak English. We had a quadruple room yet the housekeeper keeps giving us two set of towels. We had to keep calling the front desk for additional towels m. We stayed there for 5 nights Breakfast was the same every morning. It gets old. Location and accessibility to everything was great.

The public areas were beautiful. However the room was just ok. No mirror with a socket nearby for hairdrier/straightners. No tea/coffee in room. Average size. Nothing special. Breakfast was VERY disappointing. Nothing cooked to order. Not a great selection. Very poor quality. And the worst coffee ever. So bad, my husband took tea!
