The room was 35C when I arrived at 8 pm. I asked to be able to use the pool, one of the main reasons that I choose this hotel, but I was told it closes already at 8pm and doesent open until 11 am. Its supposed to be 39C tomorrow, so by the time it opens it will already be too hot to use it. I had to go for a walk to calm down, but by the time I was back the room wa still way to hot, due to weak airconditioner. The shower is very old, and falls appart when you try to use it and the place looks run down. It needs a major renovation!

Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. Rooftop pool is a true delight if you’re visiting during the Argentine summer. Staff was uniformly excellent- friendly and helpful. The only slight ding (and it’s slight!) is that in both bedrooms in our room, the only electrical outlet was on the wall opposite the bed so if you need your phone charging next to you on the nightstand better bring a 12 foot cable… other than that, perfect.

The hotel was decent but during our stay electricity was out for several days. The backup generators were inadequate so the hotel shut down the air conditioning in the rooms. For at least two nights, it was very difficult to sleep in the heat and super high humidity without air-conditioning. There were several hours during the night when we did not have electricity at all.

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, aber entspricht keinem 5-Sterne-Haus in Deutschland. Die Dichtungen der Duschwand waren teilweise nicht mehr vorhanden, sodass das Bad unter Wasser stand. Der Zustand des Fitnessstudios war katastrophal und entsprach keinesfalls den Bildern auf der Webseite. Nicht ein Technogym Gerät, ein Multifunktionsgerät, welches nicht funktionierte und die Hantel waren zur Hälfte nicht vorhanden. Das Frühstück war gut, der Kaffee nicht so. Das Personal war bemüht und meistens auch sehr freundlich. Die Lage und die Umgebung waren für unsere Vorgaben perfekt. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier nicht ganz, aber wir hatten dennoch eine gute Zeit.

I love the location, it is fantastic area. They gave me a room that didn't have WiFi, I troubleshoot with techsupport on the phone, when we couldn't get connect The Tech guy told he would call front desk to try something else and then call me back within 10 minutes. He never called me back and never called the Front Desk Also, one night I took a shower around 11pm, when I went to use the blow-dryer, it was not working. The front desk told me they would send me a hair dryer within 10 minutes, but they never did. When I called the front desk to inquire it around Midnight, they would not answer the phone. One time I left the phone ring for 13 minutes, and a person from the hotel next door ended picking up the phone, and he told me that he would let the manager know that my hotel front desk were not picking up the phone even though the lobby was empty. I also encountered the bath tub full of ants( I have pictures) they were coming from a hole between the wall tiles. The gym machines had all the upholstery ripped and dirty( I have pictures of it)

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was very nice. Not this time. Our room was #818. When we arrived, we noticed the safe was not working so we called the front desk. Someone came immediately and fixed it. Then we found out the toilet handle and television did not work. The toilet was quickly fixed but after reporting two more times, the television was never fixed. I guess it wasn’t considered a priority. The room was clean. Good strong shower with nice hot water. Bed mattress was very old and lumpy and the sheets did not smell freshly cleaned. Front desk was absolutely not helpful. I asked if they sold stamps and was told no. Then I asked if I could mail post cards and the receptionist rudely replied, “no we do not have that kind of service and the post office is closed so you cannot mail anything.” A vendor outside advised us where we could buy postage and mail our postcards (a block away). It’s sad a “5 star” hotel provided such poor service. Not the hotel I remember from my last visit. Also, two other ladies who were on our cruise were mugged near the hotel and they advised the staff didn’t offer any kind of assistance when notified or offered to contact police. I probably will stay at another hotel in the future.

Ótimo estadia! Meu quarto era uma súite, muito espaçosa, limpa e organizada. Achei a cama macia, roupa de cama e toalhas excelentes. Quarto com todas as comodidades, como kit de amenidades, guarda-roupas e cofre. Secador de cabelo profissional. Wifi muito bom, café da manhã excelente, com muitas opções. O hotel é extremamente bem localizado na região do centro, bem próximos de grandes atrações, ao lado da Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Catedral. Recomendo!

Amazing. A quick rest between cruise ship and airplane. Was checked in super early and staff were great. Sent up complimentary macaroons to our room . At the pool I ordered a beer and when we went to check out. I said that would be on my bill. Wrong! It was complimentary also.

The building is old and has little maintenance (our AC barely worked) but the real dealbreaker was staff’s attitude. I found one of the towels provided was awfully dirty (it had blood stains!) and tried calling reception to receive new towels with no luck. I went to reception and staff received the towel as if that was completely normal, they promised to send a new set of towels and even after 2 reminders did not…

This is a great hotel with a fabulous location by the Plaza de Mayo. The only thing we had a problem with was electrical access in the bedroom of our suite to plug in our cpap machines, but they immediately took care of that with an extension cord and power strip - very easy fix! They came and brought us bottles of water and beautiful chocolates and macrons on our first evening as well. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Loved our stay at the NH City Buenos Aires. Our room was comfortable, and the view from the rooftop is amazing. We loved the location as well, right by Plaza Mayor, and enjoyed walking from the hotel to restaurants, tango lessons, shows, and milongas. We had a wonderful time and would happily return.

Vi havde et rigtig dejligt familieværelse. To pænt store rum en suite med et fint badeværelse også. For os var forplejningen dog ret undervældende, og det trækker ned. Vi spiste i baren den ene aften og her var dele af burgerbollerne stadig frosne ved servering lige som det øvrige fyld var meget middelmådigt. Morgenmadsrestauranten var tilsvarende uimponerende. Der var kun lyst toastbrød - og ingen bacon, stegte svampe, baked beans eller andre standard items for et hotel i denne klasse. Kvaliteten af det, der var på buffeten, var heller ikke uovertruffen.
