Clean room Comfortable King bed Parking directly outside of room Air conditioning quiet. Even though on highway rooms are positioned at back of reception area which keeps the rooms quiet and away from traffic noise. Staff greeting friendly. Close to fast food outlets as arrival was late so this was very convenient.

Swimming pool in very bad condition, rest of wood and pieces of construction thrown on the lawn, torn volleyball net, completely different from the photos. I do not recommend.

Easy parking, welcoming and attentive staff, flexible checkout with payment. Pool well looked after, located close to town but jsut out of the bursting city centre. Large area for dogs to run around, leafy areas, Will definitely stay again with my service dog :)

Pool chairs was black and mouldy and pool deem seem to me clean but I may be wrong. Great location if u are coming from Sydney and it's great place for the price it costs. Had everything that u need

We stayed in a pet friendly room for one night. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and welcoming on both arrival and departure. The room was a typical motel room, it was clean and very comfortable. So quiet too. The dog toileting area outside my room was fantastic. We would certainly stay there again. THANK YOU!!

I once stayed regularly in this property when I was travelling. The furniture and fixtures are 30 years old The mugs were dirty and there was a terrible smell in the bathroom. I was looking forward to staying here this time but definitely needs a GOOD CLEAN

Very dated and not very clean. We literally found a toe nail in the middle of the floor. The fold out couch looked so disgusting we wouldn't even sit on it. I moved it to put a chair in a better spot to watch tv and found a tub of hand cream under it along with other crap. It obviously had not been cleaned for quite a while. The front of the room outside was also a mess. Even a blower once a day would be an improvement. The room was big though and the beds were ok.

Typical rundown motor inn; the photos definitely make it look less worn out than it is. The mattress needs to be replaced and so does the couch. I wouldn't have been disappointed if it were cleaner--the shower needed a soak with cream bleach or grout cleaner, and the shower curtain needed to be tossed; we showered with sandals because we didn't want to risk fungus. Vacuuming next to the walls and under furniture needs to be done more than what appears to be an annual attempt. Showing up to a counter literally lined up with roach traps to be placed in rooms was disturbing, but maybe if their doors to the outside sealed at the bottom this wouldn't be such an issue for them. The office hours are oddly restrictive, so if you're travelling outside of 'business hours' you'll need to call ahead.

The room is quiet and spacious. I could not hear any noise from the street. The car space is also spacious and I can easily park my SUV. The room are clean and tidy. It is one of best motel I ever stays in Coff.

The property is dated but priced reasonably. Cleanliness is not as good as can be, I nearly slipped heas over heels in the shoe because the floor was slimy as soon as the water hit it. Too much soap residue either from cleaning products or not being cleaned properly, not sure which but i had to use a floor mat in the shower for safety.

Staff were lovely. Room needs a deep clean. There was a note to make sure washing up was done which is fine but nothing to wash up with. Iron and ironing board could do with updating - destroyed one of my tops. Room could also use new pillows. Plenty of room. Big tv.

But great "old-school" water pressure. I was upgraded and the very spacious room was very well kitted out, the service was excellent and, while not that close to the town centre, it is only 5 minutes away.

Average room. Internet worked for 5 minutes then failed to work at all after that. Older than it looks in photos. Unfortunately being on the main road, you can only turn in to the property from one direction and go out one direction. No option to go right, can only go left.

Great little hotel Nothing really bad to say about property just suggestions. Cleaning might need a little bit experienced person. And maybe some fans in the rooms as we need aircon on all night. The cups and plates were dirty and I needed to rewash them and kettles need to be checked regularly as us had mould in it. Couldn't use it. Kids loved it there wifi great pool was excellent the rooms was very spacious.

perfect contactless check in - late arrival and early departure on the way from CBR to BNE, and the team once again had the room ready, handled the paperwork, had the key waiting in the lockbox, and communicated everything over texts and email to maximise the effectiveness of the stay. Appreciated as always, and the new key tags are super cute.

Very happy with my overnight stay. Really appreciated the lovely lady who checked me in and noticed how tired I was from a long drive, and upgraded me to a better, quieter room at the back of the property. Her kindness meant a lot and this meant I had a great night sleep. Thank you.

Booking call customer service person at Big Windmill Motel was argumentative, didn’t take responsibility for my booking with clunky frustrating paper work process. Customer service person hung up on me leaving me having paid for room but no explanation or safe box code to retrieve room key when I arrived late night after hours. After many attempts to call back, CS person took call only to be argumentative and rude that made me feel I was the problem. Never have I ever felt so frustrated and angry with the service and dismissive attitude leaving me uncertain as to whether id have room to stay in after a long late night drive after having paid. Was also told that I was the most annoying person that she has ever had to deal with.

The property is quite old and also the staff/owner is not helpful at all. I was asked to pay extra for stay of my 3 year old kid and no bedding provided for him. Since it was last minute and didnt had any option i had to pay. I would say do not get in the trap of this place. There are other places better than this.

Top place to stop. Halfway twix Sydney and the Goldy. Makes driving no more or less than a daily commite in Sydney. It was as a bit better than expected for a good motel. Stuff for the kids to do and a great resteraunt. Quirky windmill, so its fun as is the resteraunt inside + great food. Meals I've never had before but will again. Cold beer was fantastic after a hot day on the beach. Staff mega freindly and helpful. They make a genuine effort which is much appreciated. Mum dad n 2 kids, we will stay again. Thanks

Difficult to access when coming from the north. Property itself was fine. I was only there for a night and arrived very late and left quite early. I would stay here again.
