Excellent position, parking nearby, The marble stair by the hotel entrance is very dangerous. TV channels not suited for international customers as there are too many local tvs. Breakfast and bar prices too expensive.

Helt håbløst St med et 4 stjernes hotel som har en lang stejl trappe ved indgangen. Vi havde gjort opmærksom på at min mand var handicappet men det var rimelig håbløst. Bagage og rollator og alt måtte slæbes op ad trappen ingen gjorde mine til at hjælpe til. God beliggenhed fint værelse.

Convenient and close to everything. A ramp or lift to get into the hotel would have been preferable due to luggage.

The location for this property is great if you're there for the Cathedral or arriving by train. It's a very quick walk to both. The hotel itself is neat and tidy, but my room was quite small, with a single bed, a weird pillow, and a comforter/duvet, but no extra sheet. The bathroom was also quite small. Definitely not like the one shown in the picture on the website, but everything was clean. The elevator didn't work, so I'm glad I only had one flight of stairs to haul my suitcase. Check in and Check out were good, and they were good about keeping my luggage after checkout while I toured the city. Good value for the price, I suppose.

Wir waren für eine Nacht im CityClass Hotel im Superior Doppelzimmer mit Blick auf den Dom und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr freundlich und wir konnten eine Stunde früher einchecken (14 Uhr), da das Zimmer schon fertig war. Das Zimmer hatte eine gute Größe und war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Ein Schrank war vorhanden, wurde aber nicht von uns genutzt. Das Badezimmer hatte eine Dusche und war ebenfalls modern und sauber. Die einzigen Kritikpunkte waren die nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage und der etwas kleine und langsame Fahrstuhl (mit Gepäck Platz für max. 3-4 Leute). Ein geöffnetes Fenster hat es bei den Temperaturen auch getan, aber leider war vor dem Hotel auf der Straße eine Baustelle, was dann auch dementsprechend laut war. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hat man kaum etwas gehört. Da wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind, war es nicht weiter schlimm. Ich bin mir aber sicher, dass eine Lösung gefunden worden wäre, hätte ich es an der Rezeption bemängelt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Verschiedene Sorten Brötchen, Brot, Croissants, Zwieback, ... An der Kaffeemaschine gab es Latte Macchiato und co., außerdem Orangen- oder Multivitamin Saft. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Eine Kanne Kaffee wurde uns auf den Tisch gestellt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden bei der nächsten Köln Reise bestimmt wiederkommen.

Net en goed verzorgd hotel, gelegen op een zeer gunstige locatie om Keulen te ontdekken. Klein minpuntje vonden wij de kussen deze vonden wij erg slap. Overal alleen toegang met kamerkaart, dus ongenode gasten kunnen er niet in. Makkelijk parkeren in de buurt voor € 12,50 per dag met hotelstempel. Zeker een aanrader!

Entry is up several steps - tough with luggage and there is no ramp/elevator to the reception level. Tv did nit work. Had issues with keys which stopped working daily. Great location re Dom, museums.

We had a wonderful stay at CityClass Hotel am Dom. The team was incredibly kind from the moment we arrived, and they even decorated our room for our anniversary, which made the whole experience feel really special. Our room was spotless, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed: a mini fridge, a safe and a very cozy bed. The view was simply unforgettable. Being able to see the cathedral right from our window was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was clean, tidy and well organized and the staff made us feel truly welcomed. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is well located for the station and the Dom. The rooms are modern and clean. It was good quality for the price and gave good value. There is a safe in the room and separate recycling part in the bin.

First room had a broken toilet seat and shower water escaping the shower. Asked for a room change and was given an excuse, we are full. I insisted because the room was unacceptable. There were other issues too in the room. They did change my room and upgraded me too. Thankful for the room change but the soap dispensers were both empty so had to ask for a full bottle. Their attention to room cleaning and issues is lacking. Also the shower hose is defective. Didn’t complain about it because there is only so much you can deal with while trying to take in a city. It’s a waste of the tourists valuable time. You don’t want to waste all your time with issues so I write this so maybe they’ll try harder. Also some front desk people were super nice but there was one woman at front upon check in who was not. Guilted me because I didn’t book with breakfast. Lady some people don’t want breakfast. Period. I’m thankful for those who were kind.

大聖堂の目の前で、施設は新しいです。大聖堂をぐるっと回らないといけないので、思ったより駅から近くはないです。 狭い部屋でしたが、機能的で使いやすかったです。部屋の機密性が高いのか、他の部屋のドア開け閉めの音がうるさかったです。 冷蔵庫に前の宿泊者のものが残っていて（チーズ？）、冷蔵庫を確認するようにメモを残してチップもおいておいたのに、部屋に戻ったら残ったままでがっかりしました。

Staff in dining were great along with front desk staff. Rooms were very clean and location was amazing!

Really nice hotel in a perfect city centre location, just next to the cathedral. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean and modern. Would highly recommend.

Room's view of the cathedral was beautiful, very easy to get to and perfectly situated for wandering around the city, then back to the comfort of your room to recharge

Great location, excellent staff. Wifi was spotty at best, so if you're planning on working on using wifi I'd suggest you be comfortable going to a coffee shop or chose a different place. AC never really worked in our room, luckily not too hot during our stay.

Great location. Just a few things disappointed me. On the page for the booking, the pictures showed what seemed like a rooftop there as none. During our stay the air conditioner did not work and we had to open the window, it was still hot and noisy. Other than that, it’s clean and convenient

Vi var heldige og fikk rom i øverste etasje med en kjempestor terrasse. Fantastisk utsikt rett på Kölnerdomen og utover broen. Vi ble veldig godt mottatt og hadde et fint opphold.

The property was excellent in almost all respects (room, staff, breakfast). The only shortcoming was the wifi, which was at best flaky - it was so poor that one could not watch videos.

O quarto estava limpo, o café era saboroso e a localização era boa, porem as camas sao de solteiro, e as cobertas são extremamente pequenas, as toalhas de banho de péssima qualidade, mais parecem uma lixa de tão ruim, o banheiro tambem era bem ruim. Funcionários bastante rudes, as 11:15 bateram no quarto dizendo que precisávamos deixar o quarto.

We’re on a road trip through Europe from Denmark and have stayed at four hotels before this one – and this was by far the best. I work in the hotel industry myself as a former reception/bar manager and hospitality trainer, and I have to highlight the incredible guy at reception when we arrived around 3 PM. I didn’t catch his name, but he was outstanding – welcoming, smiling, curious about our journey, and full of great recommendations. He made the small lobby feel personal and warm. We had contacted the hotel via Hotels.com in advance, and within days they confirmed we’d get a room with a great view of the Cologne Cathedral. Room 505 did not disappoint. I spent hours on the big balcony admiring the view. The room was spotless and it was a nice touch that the water bottles were cold in the fridge (often they’re left lukewarm on the desk elsewhere). Great location, great staff. Even the delivery guy greeted us kindly in the elevator. Funny detail – the same man who checked us in was also there in the morning! What a legend. At checkout, his colleague joked he’d call our bosses to help us stay one more night – a lighthearted moment that made us feel even more at home. He said we should return and ask for 505 again – though apparently, there’s an even better room? We’ll have to come back and see! Thanks for a wonderful stay – Kalle & Sofie from Denmark

With the push toward self check in and check out, the process is much more difficult and time consuming. The four employees behind the counter can easily be cut to one.

Bad attitudes by reception staff

The staff at the front desk and the maid service are the best. Very friendly staff willing to help in any way and good for an engaging conversation, thank you Daniella and David. When we visit Cologne in the future this will definitely be the first hotel we check for availability. You've earned our loyalty, job well done.

Like: Centered in the heart of the Christmas markets. Convenient and easy to get to and around. Near the Dom and a very nice property. Well maintained. Room was excellent, and housekeeping was wonderful! property is clean and neat. What I didn't like: the staff. Certain members of the front desk were excellent, others just had attitude. I don't want someone to roll their eyes at me as a tourist in a strange city when I have questions. I want the person to be attentive, helpful, and gracious. I did not add the breakfast on to my stay, but wanted to sit in the 'breakfast' area with my traveling companion who was eating breakfast. I was treated like a criminal and berated by the staff numerous times stating that I was not on the 'list' and that this was the 'breakfast' area. Really?? No kidding. I was ordering coffee however that I was paying for. This made me pretty mad. I sucked it up however, didn't say anything, and even tipped my unruly server. Not happy about this level of oppression being offered to me as a guest. I would give this staff some additional training and tools to work with on guest service and how to maintain composure.

The location is top for convenience to the Cathedral, tain station and city center

Great location and close to the Hauptbahnhof, so train travel is really easy both in and out. Close to the Alter Markt as well and great Dom views. Good staff and cleanliness and could not hear anything from outside, even during busy Christmas Market period.

We stayed here in December during Christmas market, and this hotel exceeded my expectation. Location is excellent! The room is nice & sufficient, and we were given a room with a view of the Cathedral and also over looking one of the Christmas markets. Breakfast is very good with many selections. Internet connection is also good. Staff from front desk to back kitchen are also awesome!

Location was excellent. Some noise in the evenings from Christmas Market revellers, but it was quiet by 11pm.

Great location, close to most major attractions, a bit noisy at night but you are downtown. Hotel is new, clean. Rooms a little small but good value for 1/2 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful

The hotel is situated right behind the Cathedral and a short walk from the train station. Easy walking to the old town and area felt very safe. The room was comfortable, good shower, good bed and nice breakfast.

This hotel is marketed as having many accommodations. I would double check before you stay here. They haven't had Laundry Service since COVID but continue to market as having it, and do not believe there is anything wrong with this. They blame Expedia, Expedia blames them. As a customer, you watch your money get wasted. The outside of this hotel smells like a homeless camp, probably because of the homeless that linger on the steps and beg for your money as you walk in and out. My room had multiple electrical sockets not working, they said they would come up immediately and look at the issue. They never did. The breakfast taste like US cafeteria food. The service workers were always coming up with an excuse, like "I just started here" or "you'll have to speak with someone else, they aren't here right now" or "we do not write whats on Expedia, someone else does". They had construction going on for 3 of the days we were there and it was loud and obnoxious. Nothing better in Europe than power tools and hammering. When I addressed these issues, the response was I did not follow the refunding policy so I do not get to be heard. If you are going to Cologne, there are so many other hotels to pick. I would avoid this one. This hotel does not mind tricking you out of your money.

Location was great. Comfort single room had not much comfort. Very small room for the price paid and no coffee making facilities. Breakfast is good but rather expensive for 19 euros.

Schönes modernes Zimmer. Super Lage, direkt am Dom und nicht weit vom Bahnhof. Beim Frühstück gab es leider keine/kaum veganen oder glutenfreie Alternative (vielleicht nur auf Nachfrage). Hotel eignet sich perfekt für einen Citytrip

This property was across from the Christmas market which we had come to see. Perfect fit for us. Nice bar and breakfast spot. Nice staff.
