We had an amazing time at Palacio del Inka. The Spa was a haven of relaxation, and we indulged in a soothing couples' massage while the kids explored the hotel, which we found to be very safe with Dina. Meeting Inti, the baby Alpaca in the courtyard, was a delight. The museum's exhibitions were captivating, and we were fascinated by the hotel tour and the mesmerizing Inca ritual performance. The delicious breakfast and dinner were a culinary delight, and all the staff members were incredibly kind, helpful, and truly outstanding. We can't recommend it highly enough! Thanks to Elmer and Daniel, the concierge, for helping with booking transportation, booking restaurant reservations and even getting us tickets to a soccer game.

A great property for visiting the Sacred Valley. Very central to many key sights. Felt secure without being intrusive. Service staff everywhere was exceptional in all areas of the hotel. Great experiences included to round out the stay including on site weaving, traditional music at breakfast, baby alpaca for pictures, pisco sour lessons. Highly recommended! Many Marriott hotels could learn from their example.

A cool property. Breakfast was first rate. Staff was excellent. Hotel tour and pisco sour lesson were fun experiences. Spa staff were great and went out of their way for us to have a great time, we enjoyed the water circuit. The baby alpaca in the courtyard is adorable. I would rate this property 4 stars except the room was extraordinarily tiny- too small for 2 travellers each with a suitcase. As well, the daily "destination fee" - a standard practice of Marriott properties now - is an irritant. It's obvious it's an irritant for many guests since as soon as you check in they give you "consolation coupons" while explaining the fee- but, for example, in order to redeem the spa coupon you have to spend substantially more, and you get 1 coupon per night but, if you arrive late the first night you won't be able to use the coupon and then they will give you a hard time if you try to use both the next day (not to mention, as a couple, it would not be unusual to want to go to the spa together). These "destination" or "resort" fees are disingenuous since they are mandatory and should simply be part of the room rate. Another thing of note is the hotel isn't air conditioned. Apparently air is being installed. The room wasn't hot but it gets stuffy without anything to circulate the air.

This is a wonderful hotel - well located in a good neighborhood. The hotel itself was a 500 year old Palace that was converted into a modern hotel. It has a great bar and dining facilities. I highly recommend it!

Hotels.com advertises that there is a pool on property, which would make guests assume that they have access to this amenity. Unfortunately, to my surprise we were asked to pay a fee to use their pool. We paid a lot of money to stay at this property and don’t think the cost is justifiable. The rooms are outdated. Only thing I throughly enjoyed was the buffet. Should I return to Cusco, I will stay at a different property.

Top Hotel, sehr historisches Ambiente, sehr komfortable Betten, top Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, Die Badewanne dürfte für 5 Sterne auch gern größer sein, als nur zum duschen. Frühstück ist auch nicht ganz 5 Sterne-Niveau. Das GYM ist definitiv zu klein & zu minimalistisch eingerichtet. Massage-Behandlungen einen tick zu teuer.

The hotel lacked air con in the rooms and at £300 a night no acceptable, given the altitude oxygen could have been pumped into rooms to aid that feeling, lm sure the bar would have been busier had guests felt better. The place was spotless and the ambiance was second to none. A pleasant stay but some gaps that need to be addressed for such a prestigious hotel.

This is a 2-star hotel that is masked behind a beautiful building. It does not have air conditioning, the rooms are very small and run down, many rooms have no windows, the wifi is terrible, there is no pool or anywhere to casually hang out, the towels are old, and main restaurant has poor cooking. The positives are that the building is beautiful, the location is great, the service is good, and the breakfast is great.

We booked deluxe king room, at the beginning we received a very small room with no space to open our 2 suitcases Than we upgraded our room to junior suite and add 70 usd per night After few hours we realised that there is no air conditioning in the room We packed again and move to a deluxe room for one night because all the juniors suites were booked and the day after finally we received a very nice room. Unfortunately in the evening when we wanted to take a shower we realised that the shower doesn’t work and the toilet was blocked. We were very upset with the room’s condition and it’s doesn’t suitable to 5 stars hotel Se service was excellent they always want to help but we were really disappointed and uncomfortable to move from one room to another Breakfast was amazing And the hotel very clean

We booked a deluxe king toomand the room was very small with no space to open the suitcases so we agreed with the hotel to pay additional 70 dollars per night and to upgrade to junior suite, the junior suite was with bad facilities and without any AC , unbelievable to a 5 stars luxury hotel . Bad experience Off course we change to other room-with air conditioning

Very nice room and comfortable bed. Great service and food. Due to small windows and lack of fans and ac, rooms can get very hot/stuffy. You can ask for a fan at front desk if it becomes too stuffy. Location is lovely as pretty central but not in San Blas so no hike yo and down hill needed to get to hotel. The building is an old Spanish colonial palace built upon an Inka temple and they do a tour which I recommend taking!

This is the best hotel ever! The staff is impeccable and we felt really well taken care of. They remember what you did the day before, ask you how it was, and the concierge service is amazing. If you need transportation you must hire Authoro, he drove us to different historical sites, different little quaint towns, and made our trip something we will never forget. If you are in Cusco, you MUST stay at this hotel for a trip of a lifetime!

This was an experience like no other and exceptional in every way. Staff were extremely helpful, courteous and professional. The building itself is like a museum (it actually was until the 1970s!) so expect to see genuine historical art on the walls, remnants of Inka stonework, original colonial architecture. The restaurant is excellent for breakfast lunch or dinner. We only stayed one night here for my birthday and the hotel sent up a birthday cake to the room!! I was blown away. I’ve never paid this much for a room in my life but it was 100% worth the price point. If they offer you a discounted upgrade, take it!! I’ve never been in such an opulent room and the name of the hotel is apt - Inka Palace - I felt like royalty. Handy to know: the hotel is steps from some excellent shops, ruins and restaurants. There is an ATM in the lobby and the front desk will break large notes for you. Absolutely exceptional. When I’m next in Cusco I will definitely be back! Hopefully for a longer stay!!

We stayed two nights at the hotel and although we had booked a room for three using hotels.com, and the accomodation was fully prepaid, we were charged USD252.80 additional at check out for my son's stay and "mandatory" local charges. The age of my son had somehow been incorrectly captured by the hotel.com website (only for this booking among 5 other bookings where this did not happen) but at the time of check in we had clearly been informed we will be charged only an additional USD80 for his stay for 2 nights in addition to GBP 600+ already paid at the time of booking and the USD 76.80 to be charged locally for additional services. At check out it turned out to be a charge of USD 80 per day for my son's stay and this was not clearly communicated. This was very disappointing as we had clarified this at check in and had to pay ina rush at check out. Coffee machine in the room did not work, we tried several times and it didn't even have the right plug for the power socket. Also no electric kettle for tea at night. For rooms priced ultimately at over GBP400 for night for two adults and a child, it felt very sloppy. Otherwise its a historic property, with beautiful architecture and good location. Decent breakfast and the morning cappuccino was pretty good. Staff were generally polite and courteous esp at the door, restaurant and the Rumi bar. Wouldn't recommend though because if poor communication as happened with us and not very good valey for money!

A beautiful hotel in a prime location, near shopping and dining. The staff here is the best I have ever encountered with. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I used it as a base for many hiking excursions so I didn’t get to utilize all the amenities they have . Only about a 20 minute ride to airport

We had a lovely time at this hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk to plaza de Armas where there were lots of restaurants and shopping. The best part of this hotel was the 5 month old baby Alpaca on the hotel terrace. The staff were all super friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay.

I spent only 4 nights here. This hotel is one of the best Marriott hotels I’ve been. Placio Del Inka is a very unique, charming, elegant property at a perfect location. It’s close to everywhere you want to go in downtown Cusco. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Fantastic hotel with every amenity you would hope for. The rooms are spacious and include all toiletries. Convenient for walking. The restaurant is top notch. Highly recommend staying here if you like comfort and convenience. -and the art is great too!
