The location is convenient for walking around town. Plenty of restaurants and stores for shopping. Staff were excellent and always help with your luggage. We developed altitude sickness but the hotel had oxygen and an on-call doctor if needed. The breakfast is open 3a-10a. So many options, especially native foods. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel!!

They shuttled us from and to the airport. The property itself is a 15 minute walk to Plaza de Armas. The breakfast is great the restaurant also has good options. Mabel who cleaned our room everyday in our week stay did a wonderful job. Yes, i would recommend this hotel. Their staff is really nice and customer service oriented.

We had a lovely stay here. The hotel was very clean, and every staff member we met was incredibly kind and helpful. The best part is the location—you can walk to shops, restaurants, and all the main sights. Just a heads-up: there’s no air conditioning, so it might get a bit warm for some guests. Overall, a great choice for convenience and service!

The Sonesta in Cusco is a few steps away from the Plaza de Armas without the noise and crowd. It is in a safe neighborhood, and you can easily access attractions with a short walk. It is safe enough to walk outside after dark for dinner or shopping. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent, starting at 3:30. They offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport when I left which was great.

Even though the airport is only 10 min from airport. Airport shuttle service is excellent. At arrival, the driver held a sign with my name waiting for me. At departure, hotel hired a taxi to send us to airport.

The hotel was wonderful, pillows, bedding easy access, but there is this one thing could not ignore unfortunately the sewer smell from the hot tub to the sink too much too strong.

I have so many complaints It might sound made up, but sadly its all true. After seeing pictures of the hotel vs price and location I thought this was a great deal. Upon checking in I went to my room. It was a hot day out and couldn't wait to get to my room. The room they gave me had NO air conditioning. I went back downstairs and they apologized and gave me a room with air condition with NO windows. It was a step up at least. It was around 10pm so i ordered room service. I looked at the menu which had pictures and the food looked decent so i ordered. I ordered Lasagna as. they were out of pizza. The lasagna in the menu was full of color and vegetables. When the lasagna came it was a SOUP with lasagna noodles. Utterly disgusting. Non edible. So much so i took photos in disbelief and showed it to the chef next day. his face was expressionless. His collegues were embarrassed who also came to see. If that wasnt all. The room i had was a connecting room with paper thin walls. All night i heard to kids talking around 2am. The kids werent even yelling thats how thin the wall was between the rooms. Lastly if and i cant even make this up, I woke up itchy with bites all over my body, assuming the bed had bed bugs as I had no bites the day prior and when i woke up i had red bites all over me.

Well-kept hotel with a great breakfast and attentive staff. It was a bit of a walk to the main area so access to restaurants required a bit of a walk. Rooms were large and clean but could get a bit stuffy… we opened the large window for a nice breeze but at the expense of noisy traffic we overlooked the main road. Overall an enjoyable stay!

We were surprised when we arrived, an excellent value for this lovely property. Dinner and drinks were wonderful. Hotel provided 2 bottles of water per day which doesn’t seem like a big deal but it really was a much appreciated touch. No a/c however windows open, providing a very nice fresh breeze during the night. Other amenities we enjoyed were access to tv programming in English, variety of shows and news, mini fridge in the room, coffee station and a safe. Terrific value, we couldn’t believe our luck!

Modern, clean, and spacious hotel rooms, and good location in town and transportation to the airport. Food in the restaurant was good and staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our room faced the busy boulevard at the front of the hotel, and there was very loud celebratory music across the street until the wee hours (2am) which hindered our sleep. We lodged a complaint the second night, and were given a quiet room down the hall. We appreciated the staff response and our much improved sleep.

Wonderful airport pickup. They sent a man to meet me at the luggage belt who carried my luggage to a waiting van to drive me to the hotel without delay. Room was ready early. Very friendly staff. Nice location. Room comfort is average. Small room. No ventilation and noisy from both people in hallway and outside noise.

Our stay at Sonesta Cusco was excellent! The hotel is comfortable, beautifully maintained, and conveniently located just a short walk from the main square. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and very cozy—perfect for resting after exploring Cusco. The room was large with a very large bathroom as well. It did not have a walk-in shower, but more of a tub shower. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and well kept up and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with significant variety and fresh cooked options, which is an omelette station. They also had regional food for breakfast, which was fun. We ate at the restaurant twice and the food was fantastic. My only complaint was the rooms at the front of the buildings are not insulated all that well, and you could hear the noise on the street. The rooms in the front of the building did have a balcony with a view of the city, which was nice.

First of all, I’ve stayed at various hotels throughout the world. This hotel had the BEST hospitality! The staff was amazing! I have never stayed at a hotel where they greeted us by name every day! They genuinely asked how our day was and they were the nicest. Nicolas in particular was fantastic! We loved seeing and greeting him daily. He gave us fantastic pointers and recommendations! Ramiro at the front desk was also super helpful and so nice! Elliot the bartender made us delicious drinks and Miriam was our housekeeper that did our turndown service and gave us a hand written note. Thank you to everyone that helped make this an unforgettable 40th birthday trip! I hope to come back to Cusco soon. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel!

Everything was great during our stay. The attention is very personalized, they all address you by your name/last name with a smile. So the interaction with the staff was excellent, the breakfast buffet delicious and with great variety.Our room was always clean and on time.Very impressed by Sonesta Hotel Cusco, also the location was very convenient, a couple of blocks from Koricancha and a ten, 15 minutos walk to the main square. Cusco is truly a magical city and staying at Sonesta was a great experience. We will return for sure.

Wonderful service, very friendly staff and breakfast buffet was excellent!! We booked Machu Picchu tour through the hotel and the price was reasonable, bus and train ride was smooth too. I recommend to use their service to everyone!!

All the staff were very friendly, welcoming, polite and professionally dealt with the customers.Great service since we arrived till we left. When we were leaving the hotel to the airport, we asked the front desk to get a taxi, but the taxi was so late and it was getting late for our boarding. The hotel got their own shuttle car for us and took us to the airport. It was very impressive!! Highly recommended.

The location is convenient for walking around town. Plenty of restaurants and stores for shopping. Staff were excellent and always help with your luggage. We developed altitude sickness but the hotel had oxygen and an on-call doctor if needed. The breakfast is open 3a-10a. So many options, especially native foods. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel!!

What a friendly a helpful staff - and what a great location! We were able to easily walk to the historic area to see the sights, plus found a great restaurant and interesting marketplace adjacent to the hotel. We were able to get easily picked up and dropped off for our Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu tour, plus we were able to leave some of our luggage at the hotel for our return (which was very helpful since we were limited in what we could take on our tour). If you're staying in Cusco, we would definitely recommend the Sonesta Hotel!

This hotel is very close to the center of Cusco but far enough away not to be disturbed by crowds or traffic. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast had wonderful options and great availability to allow early eating for those heading out early for sacred valley hiking.

Fantastic hotel in Cusco. The staff were so helpful and pleasant that they even got us the recipe of a dish during breakfast that we loved. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Cusco. The breakfast spread was awesome that after eating we could skip lunch. For early trips they do start serving from 3 am

Do not take your business to this hotel. The beds are stiff as a plywood and god forbid you need to make your train/flight early in the morning; you will experience atrocious service for breakfast. I was forced to eat a dirty table, couldn’t get a cup of coffee and had to beg the man to come out from the back to tend to his egg station. They have a wide literal spread of food that’s meant for DINNER. What tourist wants to eat rice, soup and orange chicken for breakfast??? Please there are so many hotels in cusco they are begging for patronage. Take your hard earned money elsewhere!

Excellent place!! Rooms were nice and clean and spacious. Staff were all friendly and breakfast is out of this world, best thing, it’s included. Lots of variety to choose from, all very healthy. Even their coffee, dark roast is available. Highly recommended!!

If I could give this hotel a 10 star, I would. Again, this is just my opinion. Do what you want with this information. Upon arrival you're greeted with a welcome drink and snack. Very helpful staff. I was upgraded to an air conditioned room which was a nice surprise. Slept like a baby with their soundproof rooms. All the staff are very helpful. From check-in to check out. Might I add that their breakfast buffet and 12noon checkout is perfect for travellers with different needs. Free airport shuttle. This place is the best. My only qualm was I should've stayed here for 2 nights. I couldn't have ended my 10 day vacation any better. Muchas gracias Sonesto staff!
