The first night we got there we went to the pool, it was extremely dirty. There was what looked like excrement in the hot tub and black dirt all around the outside of it. The pool floor felt mouldy and slippery. The front desk staff that booked me in and I felt with were all rude. The one nice person was the lady who checked us out. Tried to ask multiple staff for towels, they never came. Nobody answered the guest service line either. Upstairs smelt like dog urine, elevators were slow and only one worked. Rooms dirty and old. It was just nasty.

Full hotel and no where to park somehow. Parking under the hotel is available at a fee and that was full. So full was the parking that people were blocking people in and still had to park somewhere else. Time to manage your parking lot.

My hotel room keys didn’t work on at least three occasions, the air smelled like beer (next to a labatt beer factory), you get complementary ear plugs because of the train going by at all hours. If you like curry there’s an amazing Indian restaurant. Everything was dirty, outdated, and scuffed. Front desk service was not great but maintenance was very helpful. Bathtub faucet was so old and grimy could barely turn it from hot to cold.

Dirty room, the lampshades looked like they had blood and other nasty stuff on it. The grass around the property had dog poop EVERYWHERE. And the door to our room only worked with one key card upside down only.

These rooms need a serious upgrade. For how expensive the rooms are they are not worth it. Toilet & shower is as old as my parents & the bed & pillows were so hard & uncomfortable. Worst sleep I ever had.

The room layout and facilities are very good. It’s super clean and comfortable. The room is towards the back and there is a railway with trains passing during the night. Not suggesting those people have sleeping issues or make sure the room facing to a quiet direction.

I arrived at 5:00 AM for check-in and waited 20 minutes for the receptionist, who had posted a sign indicating a 5-minute return. I called the lobby during this wait; she emerged from a room, seemingly awakened by the call, and requested a $50 deposit. Although I had cash and a debit visa but she said only a credit cards were accepted, and she refused to refund my $600 prepayment. This place is a trash zero customer service, i will never come back to the place again and i will never recommend to anyone

We enjoyed staying at the hotel but was quite surprised by the $50 early check in fee. When we booked the hotel in June we had mentioned possibly checking in earlier and they responded back with please call the day of arrival to see if we can accommodate, no mention of the early check in fee. Once our flight landed, we called the hotel to see if an early check in was possible and the front desk said yes, 1pm it would be ready, still no mention of the early check in fee. We arrived at the hotel around 9am to leave our bags and go site seeing and we were told our room was ready but again, no mention of an early check in fee. It wasn’t until we checked our credit card that we noticed the charge. Wasn’t impressed with the charge when no there was absolutely no mention of it, not even once, with all the times we communicated about an early check in. I felt sneaky and we weren’t impressed.

poorly trained staff could not figure out how to add a second room to an online reservation. One of the clerks very rude to me over her frustration and inability to make an in person reservation for 4 days. She booked it for 1 night only. we had the manager fix it the next day. Retrain your staff and teach customer service!

We stay here often. Reasonably priced and great breakfast restaurant separate from the Indian Cuisine restaurant, which is a bit rich and spicy… but nice to have a restaurant in the hotel.

The included breakfast was from a special menu at the restaurant. Black and white, half-size and few choices should have warned me. The "scrambled egg" was a flat glass-like sheet of overcooked, not-scrambled egg folded in quarters. The "hash browns" was room temperature, white and tasteless. I don\'t recommend this hotel if you are looking for an included breakfast.

Very BAD experience at Ricky’s Breakfast restaurant. We got in and seated but unfortunately was not served our breakfast as expected. Not until I complained that one couple with one kid got in after us & was on our right side was served first then they finished their food and another lady got in and was seated on our left side was served ahead of us again and finished her food. Think about how long we were sitting there before we were being served. This is tantamount to negligence and discrimination. Too bad!

Good, clean hotel and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff let us check in a half hour early. There is a nice Italian restaurant a short walk away for dinner, and the attached Ricky's was very good for breakfast.

We had booked two rooms: one accessible, and one regular. It would have been nicer if they had been closer together rather than 4 floors apart. The rooms were both nice. The bed in the regular room was very high so if mobility is a concern, I recommend the accessible rooms. I don't recommend paying extra for the breakfast; it's at the adjoining Ricky's and you can only choose from a limited menu.

It is really easy to access when you drive in from the south. Ricky's Grill had great breakfasts and Ricky's staff are warm, very professional, and give great service. The room was adequate but could use an updated desk chair. Good swimming pool. I liked it and would use it again if the occasion requires a South Edmonton hotel.

Room was smaller than expected for a king room. Bathroom was tiny with a very low toilet and small bathtub, needing an upgrade. Bed was comfortable and tv was basic with no Netflix or ability to stream. Staff were extremely pleasant especially the front desk lady that checked us in. Restaurant staff didn’t seem too happy to take our order for room service. Hot tub was down, but pool open. Not sure I’d book here again, but it was average and extras will cost you.
