A little run down and the parking lot was not in great shape and seemed like maybe it's not the best neighbourhood. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was average.

This property was okay…. You can tell they are trying hard to update it and make some changes but it’s not quite there yet. A few issues we had were with the noise. The doors are not soundproofed and the housekeeping carts create such a loud racket, honestly sounded like the hallway and door was being pounded with hail as they walked past. We were there for a wedding so needed the rest and didn’t get it. The gym is a safety hazard and injury waiting to happen. There’s precisely 5 pieces of equipment and all would not pass any safety inspections whatsoever. And lastly, we were woken up at 5am to pigeons outside our window. Maybe some bird spikes around the property would be helpful? The breakfast was okay, you got what you needed but it was a tiny room with communal seating.

The staff was fantastic, helpful, and happy to help. The parking area is in terrible shape, with lots of holes, especially around the side towards the back. The bedroom door was hard to open and needs to be repaired.

Hotel seems to be getting rundown, toilet, was wobbly ready to break off, no microwave in the room, but most of all lots of vegrant people in parking lot that look like they are going to break into yours vehicle or Rob you security guards all sitting in the front lobby, not watching in the parking lot, the parking lot is full of screws, nails, rubble, garbage, and potholes,but the free breakfast ,is good, been going there for 25 years and that will be our last stay there!!!

The room was not clean. There was food just under the bed and strings on the floor by the nightstand. It looks like someone spilled pop because it was sticky on the floor and wasnt washed up. We did not eat in the room so it wasn’t from us. I always wipe down the surfaces with a wipe and when I wiped the counter there was makeup that came up and the fridge door made the wipe black. There was also hair hanging from the bottom of the pile of towels. The breakfast had great reviews which is why we picked this hotel but the breakfast was nothing special. Good coffee but the eggs were cold.

Good area with easy access to local food places and mall. The shower was a bit dirty with previous stays hair in shower and tub. Baseboards were very dirty and need or cleaning and fresh paint. Overall was a decent stay, just needs a better cleaning.

Needs massive renovation. Not really looking clean or safe. We saw bugs in our room, on the floor, behind the bed, traces on the wall. We asked for a refund and left immediately. Not sure who are the people leaving different reviews. I believed the recent positive reviews first, but not gonna do that again, sadly.

The property is nice, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent as well. Unfortunately, I found strands of hair in both the refrigerator and bathtub in my room, which was quite unpleasant and raised concerns about the cleanliness. I reported the issue to the front desk, and to their credit, they promptly relocated me to another room. The bed was very comfortable, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a mixed experience — great service, but housekeeping could use improvement.

The room was great, but the internet was horrible. I was unable to use it during my stay. The lady that checked me out was kind, and the highlight of my stay at the hotel. There’s nothing to do at the hotel without the WiFi connection working. Loud neighbors

Very convenient location, Vivian was excellent and all the Staff were very nice. Great selection for breakfast. Internet was slow/lagging a lot of the time but they working on it. Highly recommended, was there for 4 days!

It’s quiet and in a good price range with a free breakfast which is good and changed a bit each day. Staff were friendly at front desk. Down side housekeeping was lacking on a 3 day stay on the second we had to ask for a tidy up, garbage towels recycling taken. It got done to bare minimum and recycling was left. Wifi was weak at the best of times if it would load anything.

Quiet place and nice staff. However when the key card continually stops working for your room, or other peoples within the same room and you all have to keep going down almost daily to get it reactivated (and see others having to as well) its a bit of an issue. Or a bigger issue is when you say can you recode it for room xxx they take the card, do it and hand it back. They dont ask the name on file for the room, dont ask for id just assume you are for that room and give it to you. Not safe at all in that sense knowing anyone could suddenly be in your room just by telling front desk the card stopped working

Grumpy lady at check in, smelly hallways, linen had a lingering musty smell. Had to ring a doorbell on arrival to enter. Security guard hovering around gave a sense this location might have some issues.

Cleaning staff, front door staff and after hours security were all so friendly and amazing. The breakfast staff too. Would just return based on the service. If I come back to Edmonton I would stay there in a heartbeat. Made the trip amazing. Even on a super busy weekend where they were sold out they were more then capable then accommodating early check in. They did say they couldn’t guarantee it but would do their best. Was An amazing weekend.

Dead bolt was broken and housekeeping let themselves into our room prior to checkout. Thank goodness that we had little latch on. Don’t they get a list of who has checked out? And shouldn’t they knock before coming in? Super embarrassing.

We were in town for a funeral and the manager was very accommodating regarding checking in and checking out which meant a lot to us at the time. The staff was friendly from the manager to the workers we saw doing housekeeping etc. The building was clean and neat. Thank you!

Not a very nice area, a lot of sketchy people, people sleeping hallways, security was bad, my sister in law arrived at a different time than I did and walked up to the desk to request a key and without asking for id the person at the desk gave her a key.

Property was ok. Hotel is on a busy section so sirens were heard throughout the night. Numerous less fortunate people around the property...did not feel safe in the parking lot alone. Breakfast was decent enough but there was usually a wait for hot food and waffles. Lots of seating options! Rooms were dark and floors looked clean, but socks were always dirty. Had to change rooms at 9 pm the first night when the toilet stopped working. However, the hotel is a 6-7 min easy drive to West Edmonton Mall. House cleaning always re-stocked items. Check-in/out was easy.

Like most places, there is a presence of homeless in the area but I didn’t feel unsafe. Older hotel but rooms were very nice, decently priced and quiet. Free breakfast was decent, staff at breakfast was efficient with cleaning and refilling containers. Front desk were very welcoming and efficient Would stay here again

Hotel is clean, beds comfy. Breakfast room is very large and spacious with a very good offering; it appears the space used to be a restaurant so there is lots of room and tables. Breakfast room staff are very attentive and they were constantly ensuring everything was clean and full. Impressive to be honest for a complimentary meal - exceeded expectations. Location is very close to West Edmonton Mall but a bit of a distance to downtown area. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

The breakfast was not for Vegetarian people. No fruit, no vegetables . The staff wasn't speaking english. so communication was difficult. We ate only one toast and peanut butter and a coffee. So much for breakfast included
