The View Hotel Folkestone, a member of Radisson Individuals

A lovely bright clean room - the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The building quite run down and decor a bit dated but all very clean and tidy, A great option if staying with a dog.

The staff were all really happy and very friendly helpful on the check in desk.The bar had a nice feeling about it, again the staff were all lovely and happy to serve whatever cocktail we wanted. The main entrance and bar were well cared for and maintained,and our room was clean and large, we had a great view of the sea. The hotel was a couple of minutes walk from Leas Cliff Hall, and a picturesque walk into Folkestone high street, all very easy to get to,well situated.we got there by train,which was again easy to get to.

This older (man) staff was not very friendly, efficient, and made many mistakes. Hotel itself had absolutely no sound proof so it was noisy all night and all morning.

Excellent

The room was spacious and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, unfortunately the lift was broken during our stay, and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs, which was quite inconvenient. Also, the carpet in the room had a very strong old/musty smell that made the room feel less fresh than expected. Overall, the hotel has potential, but these issues affected our experience.
