lovely hotel on the cliff front. The lift is small so we walked up the stairs each time which was good exercise to counteract the weekends indulgences

I’ve been visiting the Clifton hotel since I was a teenager, originally with my parents, and over the decades have stayed on lots of trips and mini breaks! The latest custodians have done an amazing job in both refurbishment and conserving this classic old hotel!! They give you a walk welcome and are genuinely happy to see you. The breakfast was lovely every morning, plenty of options and choices Visited the Marco Pierre White steak house in the hotel as well and the food was perfectly cooked and service was superb Well done to the new owners it truly was a pleasure to visit you, we will definitely be back very soon

The breakfast was good. I only found out as I left that as I had paid for the breakfast I could have had a free choice from the breakfast menu. It was disappointing not to be told this by staff. The water in the bedroom fridge was not replenished during my stay which I thought was very poor. Only basic PG Tips and Green Tea in room . No Earl Grey. Poor in comparison to the range of coffee . I don’t drink coffee. The restaurant is lovely in the evening but service slow.

Check in was simple and easy, Room was a lovely size with a king size bed. Bathroom was clean and tidy with a walk in shower and rainfall shower. Breakfast was good, typical buffet with hot and cold options. All the staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful.
