Bettleuchte war ausgesteckt - die Ursache musste ich auch erst dafür finden- das Kabel ist im Bettkasten verbaut. I always enjoy staying at Hamburger Hof. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms (although on the small side) are impeccably clean. Convenient location, 2 minutes walk from the main train station. There can be street noise but nothing too serious. I’ll definitely be back, and I recommend this hotel.

I was really happy with this property. The front desk staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean and the air conditioning was cool. Plenty of bright lighting in the room and the bathroom. I had the standard twin room and yes, it was small, but it was fine with a desk and chair in addition to the bed. There was also a small refrigerator in the nightstand and a heat lamp in the bathroom. I didn't take the breakfast but it looked pretty good. Honestly, I was perfectly happy here. Very convenient to the train station (just be sure you take the correct exit from the station). My only "complaint" would be that I personally thought that the neighborhood was a little rough but I was only there for one night then took the train out the next morning so really, it was great.

Very cute hotel but, small. Although we booked for three, the room was designed for two with an added bed that was squeezed in by the window. Not suitable for families with small children, but perfect for people who are there to see the sights. Literally right across from a main train depot!

My room smelled awful. Supposed to be non-smoking but had clearly had some smokers in it. Room key didnt work. Very noisy. Big cobwebs in the corners. They took my soap and shampoo after the first night and didnt replace them. Desk staff was clueless and perpetually confused

This place was perfect for us as we were only visiting Frankfurt for a day! Had everything we needed, was clean, and also quite close and walkable to most of the things we wanted to do and see in Frankfurt, such as the New Old Town! What really was amazing here was the staff! They were polite, friendly, helpful, and were in a great mood any time that we interacted with them! Would recommend staying here just because of them, but also because the hotel is a nice place to stay if you're in Frankfurt! Thank you!

We enjoyed our time in Frankfurt at Hamburger Hof! It is uniquely located across the street from the train station with easy come, easy go convenience. It's quite central to the city center providing a good balance of the make-up of the city. The staff were kind and accommodating. Caja (sp) was especially helpful and provided exceptional customer service. He treated us like we were guests at his home. Taxis are plentiful outside the hotel so you don't have to call one. We never had to use Uber. Lastly, we especially loved the shower and wish we could take it home with us! We recommend Hamburger Hof and would return again.

My 2 night stay was relaxing and comfortable. The location across from the Main Train Station was the reason I chose this Hotel. Though there were a few homeless around, there was enough traffic so you didn't feel unsafe. Lots of walkable sights, but best choice was the Hop On Hop Off that you can carch right outside the Train Station's Main Entrance. Ticket allows you 2 slightly different tour bus routes and also a boat cruise on the Main River. Staff at Hamburger Hof were friendly and very helpful. AC and water pressure were above average and bed was comfortable. Elevator was very small, but worked well. Had breakfast 1 day and it was fine. Great service by staff also. Nice hotel, just sad the neighborhood was a tad disappointing. I would stay again.

A very convenient hotel for night stay. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and still good as before. However, would be good if they include bottled water for us in the room. The breakfast staff were not so welcoming even though the place is pretty empty. Can skip paying for breakfast and buy at nearby Macdonald at the train station next time.

Really happy with how close this hotel is to the main train station!! The hotel was clean, A/C worked great, and front desk spoke good English. Even though there are homeless people near the train station (to be expected), there are also a lot of police in the area, and I felt safe in the hotel as a solo female traveler!!

Literally across the street from the train station, with an easy walk to the Innenstadt and Altstadt and plenty of food choices nearby. The room was clean and neat. A bit noisy outside on a Saturday night, with a few sketchy characters on the street in the evening, but did not feel unsafe. An excellent place to stay for the price.

Our room for 3 was very spacious. The hotel was quiet both for indoor noise and keeping out the outdoor sounds from a very frenzied train station neighborhood. Hamburger Hof was a nice little hotel very close to the Frankfurt Main train station. The staff were very nice and helpful with local recommendations. Their breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. We had two minor issues; one, the safe in our room didn’t work and they offered to move us but we chose to stay. The other was the temperature of the room. For some reason it was difficult to get it to maintain a good temperature. As others have said, the area around the station “seemed” a bit seedy but we never felt unsafe as there were always people coming and going from the train station and the police station is directly across from the hotel. It was always very quiet at night so no problems with sleep. There is an excellent Italian restaurant and an excellent Chinese restaurant right around the corner. We enjoyed our 5 night stay here.

Excelente hotel, muy comodo con personal amable a precio aceptable. El desayuno fue completo a precio también razonable. La zona ew conveniente por su proximidad a la estación central aunque la zona luce peligrosa por sobre todo de noche, aunque yo no he tenido ningún inconveniente.
