The hotel was extremely nice. There are many useful amenities, such as the bar, dining room, gym and sauna rooms. The rooms are well appointed. They included a safe, coffee and tea bar, refrigerator, and amazing bathrooms and well organized wardrobe cabinets. More importantly however, was the staff. I cannot say enough about the front desk manager who assisted me during my stay. I know I will misspell his name, so please forgive me. His name began with a Y, I want to say his name was Ysev. He had intimated he was from Turkey. This front desk manager was just absolutely amazing!!! He was the most incredibly helpful person. He truly went above and beyond with help at the front desk. He was knowledgeable regarding he surrounding area, he was able to help me read some food labels in German, and was a really nice person. While the hotel itself is amazing, it was his personable service at the front desk from this manager that really made my stay in Frankfurt. I stay at different hotels all over Europe. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, as well as a stay in the beautiful city of Frankfurt. You will not be disappointed.

Modern, stylish hotel just steps off the main pedestrian shopping street. There’s an Aldi around the corner and it’s 10 mins walk to the old town area. The Expedia VIP treat of upgrade and free breakfast is great. Lots of hotels ask you to not have the room serviced to save the planet, but here you get 2 free drinks at the bar each day if you don’t. Also, fancy Malin & Getz shampoo etc in the bathroom.

Nice property. Close to lots of dining, and shopping. Walking distance to Romerberg and Zoo. Parking lot is across the street so not convenient when you have lots of bags. Parking lot is also tight for modern cars.

We had just 2 nights here, but this hotel is perfect. The highlights are great staff, the bar and restaurant area and foyer area, which were amazingly and tastefully decorated, in a retro style. We spent plenty of time here! Very convenient too. The online check in was great too. Highly recommended.

Bra hotell med mycket bra frukost, trevlig personal. Tyvärr fungerade inte AC:n i något av de två rummen vi hade på våning 4, trotts att jag under de två nätter vi bokat meddelade detta till receptionen vid 4 tillfällen. Blev lovad att en tekniker skulle titta på problemet men ingenting hände. Det var varmt inne i rummen, fläkten i taket fungerade men gav ingen kyla. Slog man på kylning på displayen i rummet så slocknade den hela tiden efter cirka 5 sekunder. Jag har sett flera recensioner bakåt i tiden där andra klagat på just problemet med en icke fungerande AC, troligen är det något större fel i AC-systemet så att inga eller väldigt få rum har fungerande AC. Även andra gäster jag talade med hade samma problem i sina rum. Om bara AC-problemet löses är det ett mycket trevligt hotell med bra läge och närhet till tunnelbanan.

The hotel was absolutely boiling. It was impossible to sleep. The air con does not work. And you can’t open the window due to the busy main road below. We tried 3 rooms before accepting our fate. First room the electrics kept tripping, second room the window was broken. Third room was ok. Holes in curtains and as mentioned crazy hot and very loud due to the busy main road.

Would not stay again. The hotel is a mix of new and desperately needing renovation. Our fridge did not work, the lighting in the room was ridiculous, we booked a suite because we have kids and the living room lights only turned on with the bedroom lights, so we were unable to put the kids down and relax in the other room unless we sat in complete darkness. The tvs came with Chromecast, which was cool, but didn't work (internet was too slow to render, and on the other TV it didn't work at all) The bathroom sink we very discolored and yellow. And TO TOP IT OFF the lamp in the living room was broken, and in hindsight we should have said something, but ended up finding out that the hotel charged us $200 after we left because "we broke it". Criminals.

Avani hotel's location in the old city (Altstadt) is central and next to all the big shops. Nice, modern decoration in the public areas. Staff at the reception was very accommodating. The room was spacious, neat and clean. The espresso machine with capsules was a big plus. Only the towels were a little tired/old. I also took the breakfast option (20€). Big variety but the usual hotel stuff. However, you can order eggs any style at no extra cost. No decaf espresso (only instant). Overall, good value for money, it wouldn't be my first option but I would stay again.

The property is lovely, however, the rooms do not have any temperature control. Windows can be opened but we were right over a very busy restaurant/bar that was quite lively until 2am each night. Sadly, our room got so stuffy and warm, even with outside temps in the 60s, that it made it miserable to sleep.

I recently visited several cities in Europe, this hotel was, by far, one of the best places I stayed. Staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the resources in the city. I would come back to the same hotel! The Italian lady at the bar and the Colombian lady at the counter went beyond their call of duty in insuring we knew our options! Thank you very much!

VIP benefit said continental bf for one. We were confused so we booked bf buffet for 2. We got to hotel and we received the VIP voucher stating one breakfast a day free. Still not clear what sort of bf so too bad . Apart from that hotel staff were wonderful. Early check in, nice bf and free water and apple and jelly babies at reception.

We didn’t get the room with a balcony that we reserved. That was a big disappointment as we had planned to have our dinner out there. The staff was rude about it and the next morning our toilet broke and it took hours to fix it.

This hotel has very dishonest front desk managers who lie to ensure you don’t receive any Expedia benefits/perks. I found the hotel unsafe as people constantly smoke and drink outside the hotel in the evening and leave broken glass bottles outside the hotel

The hotel is in a great central location and the room was spacious and mostly quiet. However, the experience felt mixed. We arrived at 7 pm and the room was still not ready. They were still making the beds for our kids. The room had a strange mix of old and new, with parts clearly just left as they were before and others recently updated. Both TVs in the room were not set up correctly, which was frustrating. Parking was expensive. Overall, decent stay for one night, but the service and upkeep left room for improvement.

Location is very good. Close to everything. Staff are very nice and friendly. Breakfasts are delicious! The cons: Twin beds are very small. Smaller than average. Also the air conditioning only cools the room so much. It wasn’t well ventilated and we had to run the air conditioning 24 hours a day and the room still felt warm and somewhat stuffy. There is a nightclub a couple of blocks away so if your room is at the front of the hotel, it’s very noisy at night especially on the weekends.

The beeakfast was very disapppointed. We stayed 3 nights and each day everything was the same. And nothing special like smoked salmon, other fish options, fresh pancakes or waffles. And the varaity of bread amd sqeet breads was very simple and not a lot of choices.

Room was spacious and very clean. Included a wardrobe, desk, desk chair, armchair, large bed and side tables. Window can open, which is great. The bathroom was also spacious with a rain or normal shower option. Bathrobes and slippers provided. The corridors are wide and spotless and no disruption from other guests. The breakfast was included as an Expedia VIP Access perk and was great, loads to choose from - hot food like sausages and eggs, cereals, fruits, different breads, cold meat, cheeses, pastries, cakes, and an omelette station with a chef cooking to order. Location is great - 5 mins walk from a main station that has the U and S trains. 5 mins from main shopping and 10mins from the old town square. The DFF was about 25min walk away through the old town, across the bridge and along the river - nowhere feels far when the weather is good! Would definitely stay here again.
