Showing with a kids present would not have worked, nor if I was traveling with friends. Breakfast spread was good, best part of the stay. Appalling experience, to open hotel with basically only a receptionist, no kitchen, no bar, no meals, to tell guests if you want to eat there is a resturant down the road, which happened to be closed. I was booked in for 3 nights but checked out after one and moved to the Marriott. I traveled for 25 years all over the world for business and the mine site camps I stay are are better the what you provide. Last time I ever stay in a Hilton Hotel

It was a comfortable stay. We didn’t realise it was in a business district and as it was a bank holiday it was pretty dead around. Ate in the hotel along with one other guest! Friendly service. Breakfast excellent but 27€ per person was extremely expensive as was parking in an uncovered car park for over 20€. We could hear planes in the evening and early morning but nevertheless slept well.

In der Hotelbeschreibung ist eine Klimaanlage genannt. Ich war im August dort, das Zimmer war extrem warm und die Klimaanlage war ohne Funktion. Ein Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen, weil es draußen zu laut war. Auf meine Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurde mir geantwortet, dass die Klimaanlage grundsätzlich im ganzen Haus nicht im Betrieb ist (!!!). Eine Leistung eindeutig zu beschreiben und dann nicht anzubieten ist meiner Meinung nach leider eine Mogelpackung.

Really clean smart hotel. I actually loved the atrium lift and the funky bathroom shower layout in the bedroom. The staff are terse but helpful. If you are staying to attend something big at the EF Stadium the taxi situation needs managing. There is normally a taxi at the door but this won't cover a big concert and the drivers are reluctant to get tangled up at the other end. Walk or Uber. Also, they closed the bar early after the gig we went to, which was odd, so no drink when you get back from the show. Normally it's open until 12. Overall, very happy with our stay.

It would have been nice to either opn a window or be able to have the air conditioning on to be able to get some airflow in the room. Then room was very hot to the point were i was sweating and it was very stale air in the room. I was able to only tilt rhe window down slightly but even that wasnt enough to cool dow the room. All in all the rest of the stay was great. The staff was very friendly and parking was plentiful.

Late check in around 10 pm. Got to the room, found 2 bags in the chairs, called the receptiondesk, he answered: Oh my gosh, i’m sorry. I will send someone to get the bags. The bags was picked up quickly. We went to bed, thinking everything now was okay. But at 2:20 am, two english guys where in our room, or should I say their room? The english guys went to the receptiondesk and we tried getting back to sleep - not easy. Next morning I told the receptiondesk about our experience and the abrupted sleep, and that we where not happy. She was sorry, but pointed out that the problem was because of system breakdown last night. As a customer I dont care about system failure - I care about getting my sleep when we have booked and paid for the room more than half a year ago. To compensate, she offered free parking for the night - which we ALREADY had..! Not a great experience.

Beim Check-In gab es eine Schlange mit ca. 1 Std. Wartezeit. Die telefonische Verständigung mit dem Hotel war auch schwierig (sprachliche Barrieren, aber auch Telefonnummern, die nicht gestimmt haben bzw. ständige Weiterleitungen.). Obwohl wir angemerkt haben, dass wir mit dem PKW anreisen - keine Info, wohin man ausweichen kann (Hotelparkplätze stark begrenzt - das absolute Chaos rings um das Hotel; teils mit Abschleppdienst). Wir haben gegenüber geparkt - am WE geschlossen (konnten nicht ohne Hausmeister ans Auto). Sind dann nachts abgereist ohne einzuchecken (wir konnten mittags nicht länger in der Warteschlange stehen, da wir auf eine berufliche Verstaltung mussten). Das Zimmer konnte nicht mehr storniert werden. Der Betrag wurde der Kreditkarte einfach belastet - keine Benachrichtigung. Nun rennen wir einer Rechnung, die wir benötigen hinterher. Wieder das Spiel mit der telefonischen Erreichbarkeit etc. Sorry, aber für ein Business Hotel geht das einfach alles gar nicht.

e have stayed many times at different DoubleTree by Hilton hotels and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, our recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Frankfurt was a major disappointment. First of all, when we checked in, we received no information about the floor our room was on, breakfast details, or internet access. We were simply handed a bottle of water and a cookie. The room itself was missing several essentials: only one pillow per person, which was uncomfortable when trying to sit up in bed; no soap in the bathroom; and no extras like cotton pads, ear swabs, or slippers. We had to call reception twice just to get soap and slippers delivered. The next day, when we returned to the room, it had not been cleaned, and there was no water provided. We called reception twice again, but no one answered. We ended up spending the entire night without water. The main reason we choose DoubleTree by Hilton is because of the excellent service we’ve experienced in the past. Sadly, this time the service fell far short of expectations. The only positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast.

There was a double billing issue, despite my repeated notifications to the staff at both check-in and check-out that I had prepaid through Expedia. More concerning are the unauthorized charges. At check-in, a 50-euro deposit was temporarily charged, for which I received a receipt. However, my credit card was charged a higher amount without my consent and without a receipt. My brother was forced to sleep in with me and my partner because the room he'd booked and paid for was sold to someone else. It was a disaster that could have been flagged when I tried to check in for him earlier in the day. But instead it was picked up near midnight when he arrived. The check in agent Ishmael was fantastic, but didn't have a hope of finding a solution as his manager provided him with no help over the phone. Terrible experience. The hotel was clean and easily accessible by train, 15 minutes from the city centre. Glass walls divide the room from the bathroom which obviously didnt work for us. Please thank Ishmael for being a silver lining amongst terrible greed by the hotel's sales team.

The position of the hotel is not good ( at least for me) . In the middle of a complex of hotels and offices. Long trip ( 40 mins - walk to train - get train etc) to Centre of frankfurt. Then possitionof the hotel put me off staying here again.

Disappointing. Front desk staff were disinterested and even rude when I checked out. Ordered paster from the restaurant, after a very long time it arrived cold, sent it back and after another long wait they reheated in the oven! Awful. Sent back and didn’t bother any more. Far too many great hotels in Frankfurt to bother with this one.
