Lack of proper parking arrangements for some rooms, specifically room 35. Effectively I had to park in the general visitors car park distant from the room. Given the wet weather at the time and the lack of a covered walkway to that car park it was inconvenient.

Great to have food and drinks available on the doorstep. Great service in the food area and good staff. Pool and area could do with a big upgrade, steps in pool not ladders as old and shaky. gardens, etc need renewing.

We loved our family stay, the rooms definitely need some new beds and refurbished but it's a beautiful property, and wonderful dining options. Unfortunately, the pool was closed the whole time we were there for cleaning (48 hours), so the kids were disappointed about that. Overall loved our stay and would stay here again.

Stayed overnight and stayed in one of the newly renovated room. Firstly, the lady who checked us in was very friendly and polite. The room was modern, clean and bed was super comfortable. Shower had a great rain shower head with great pressure and hot water. Having the hotel next door was perfect for a quite drink and dinner.

Inside the unit was spacious and very clean. Outside untidy. Over hanging dead branches, cobwebs around the door. Issues with the internet, and very poor television reception. Unable to watch the TV at all. Location is great and the facilities are good. Lovely swimming pool.

Room service non existent, take out rubbish and leave tbags was all that was done daily. Bed not made for 4 days, and then only when I asked for it to be made, but not made after that. Had to ask to have floor vacumed on 2nd day of 7 day stay, as debris in bed after walking on carpet in socks. A lot of garden debris outside room, no door mat to wipe off excess dirt, so tracking it inside. No room service at all on Sundays....was only told when I asked for Tbags. On informing staff of issues, very lack lustre to make amends, just excuses. Do not make bed or clean bathroom. When I go on a holiday these are the things I look forward to NOT having to do. A budget deal with very limited service. A toaster in room would be helpfel as no breakfast service offered at all. Room slept 3 people, but only 1 chair in room, visitors had to sit on beds. I realise the place is undergoing renovations and my room was one that had been updated, but lacking in basics. Overall not my best holiday stay. Will give this place a miss next time, can not recommend it at all.

accommodation is very dated and not value for money. experience started with entry door which had weather damage and was mouldy on the exterior. Main Room was moderately clean, but toilet had squashed mossies on wall and some toilet paper had been left in the bowl.

CONS: Housekeeping/hygene. -Surfaces were not wiped down, found dust on bench tops -Top of the Air Con units are absolutely covered in dust, felt like i should of turned it off to avoid my family from getting sick -Extra blankets in the cupboards smelt like stale wet dogs or something similar, dont think its been washed for awhile Parking. -Limited parking, there would be times when parking was available due to others taking our spot T.V. - T.V had sound but zero Picture to see PROS: Beds. -Cleaners came in during half way through our stay to make beds - Double bed was really comfy and well made -Kids loved the bunk beds -Good location for convenience

I was sent a text the morning of arrival to complete an online check in to save time on arrival, when I arrived none of the information I provided was on the documentation. The reception service was friendly but not efficient. Internet super slow, the shower drain was full of hair. Great food and friendly service at bistro.

The room was okay for the price. There was lots of mould and soap scum in the shower and the hot water kept fluctuating between super hot and freezing cold depending who else was using water in our room block. We only got 1 washer provided for a 4 person room. We weren’t able to order room service to our room as it was the “budget rooms” which seemed a bit unfair. The staff were nice though. And the towels/pillows/bedding was nice and soft and comfortable.

Lovely complex and staff. The rooms were newly decorated and beds were comfortable. Very convenient position but we were in a room across from reception and bottle shop and were awakened by noise both mornings. The first morning was the delivery truck for bottle shop, second morning sounded like rubbish truck. I understand jobs need doing but maybe not near rooms. We were also near a carpark area. The hotel is having renovations so couldn't get a cocktail and no low set table and chairs. There was some bench seating outside. I was a bit disappointed in the food too but my friends enjoyed theirs the day before. Maybe a room by the lake next time and wait for renovations to be finished at the Bistro.

Stayed here as somewhat central to where I. Ended to be for the weekend. My room was right at the back, there is no Wi-Fi accessible there and mobile coverage for me was patchy. Room is definitely more for those wanting a motel room, lots of construction workers stay here.

One female manager was very rude and very unprofessional. Rooms were too noisy. Every night I had either dogs barking, music or crying baby. Not going back. Getting a nights refund through Expedia was a major drama. Won't be using that again either.

The staff in all areas are polite helpful and friendly. The meals are delicious and beautifully presented and prepared, the dining room staff are friendly, helpful and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable the beds were comfortable and good pillow choice. It has beautiful grounds and is very peaceful.

The staff if you find them are amazing. but it was so hard to find anybody to chick me in as I arrived at 7 Pm .. the phone number of the security on the door is very wrong or the guy answer doesn't know anything, he tried to send me 20min away from the place to talk to someone, which is radicals. the water in the shower was not easy to fix the temperature. In front of my room was 2 big pins for garbage having a lot of little cockroach. Generally speaking I hate my stay there.

It was a lovely stay. Walking distance to Pier and beaches as well as Botanical garden. Only downfall would be there was rubbish lying around on the grounds, however that is not the Hotels fault, it is just people who are too lazy to bin their rubbish. Otherwise we had a nice peaceful time.

Room has been recently renovated. Was lovely and clean and modern. Bistro was great and fantastic value. Only thing I can fault them on was the outdoor patio needed a sweep and I assume it will be next on the list for a makeover.

We liked the gardens We didn’t like that we when we asked about eating at the restaurant we were told it could be along wait as they have a wedding on Told me best to go somewhere else to eat tonight Also when we arrived from along trip we asked reception if I could use the toilet we got told no a wedding was on The toilets in the pokies area were dirty and needed a good clean Overall very ordinary, could be so much nicer Broken glass on a table and ground in outside area near pokies No lighting outside our room number 32 so dark and right at the back of the property I would be scared if not being with someone else
