Had the VIP package and it was great. Loved the breakfast area, food and drinks. Had the coffee, water and soft drinks available all day long. Pool area nice, spacious and clean. Although they were working on the roof to install solar panels it was opened which we appreciated. Rooms are nice and clean.

Amazing hotel, we booked the upgraded package and so glad we did, so much included and all such good quality. Gym and pool also very good. Great location and very comfortable room.

The hotel facilities and hospitalities were excellent. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was that it advertised that it has an onsite tennis court. Unfortunately, tennis court was recently leased to external company and they had converted into pickleball courts. Which was a downside for me.

This was in a great location that allowed me to explore the surrounding area. I got upgraded to the residence club which has it's own checkin counter on the 10th floor. I got access to an amazing breakfast and cocktail hour which was basically a dinner buffet and the food was spectacular. I didn't know that food could taste that good! After checking out, I mentioned that I was going to try to relax at a cafe to wait for my flight and the staff said I could hang around on the 10th floor or use the pool/spa while I wait for my flight. This truly went above and beyond as my flight left at 11pm. This is a great hotel and I recommend it to anyone. Definitely opt for the residence club option if you can! You won't regret it.

What a wonderful stay, great room, caring attentive service and the best club lounge we have experienced anywhere! We booked a resident club premier room and stayed on the 11th floor. With the club check-in on the 10th floor making the process personal and fast. The view from the 11th floor was great with a mixture of the city and the park opposite. Room was large and comfortable. The Gym was good too, proper set-up with weights, not just aerobic like many. Pool is tucked away in a lovely private zone and was also large and well appointed. The stand out was definitely the club lounge open at 5:30pm, terrific food and beverages included, indoor and outdoor seating options and very friendly service. Not too many Vegetarian options, but they prepared a dish from the restaurant for me . Overall fantastic. Plenty of seafood and meat if you like it. We have already booked again for August! This is the Oasis you must try.

The place was very welcoming. A lot of business folks seem like they stay there. The room was well air conditioned but could been better because of how humid it can get. The bathroom shower was definitely not cleaned before we got there. There was hair stuck on the walls of the shower and the shower was clogged which made it harder to shower with trying not to have the water overflow out as it was a stand up shower, no tub. Other than the bathroom, everything else was good. Great location to a lot of shops, food, etc. for walking everything was 7 minutes away or at the least the places we wanted to go to or a 7 minute grab ride.

The hotel was impeccably clean, and every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd like to particularly commend Ho and Thuy at the front desk, and Duy, the doorman, for their outstanding service. Their assistance was truly impressive. I used to stay at Caravelle, but after this wonderful experience, my wife and I have decided to make your hotel our preferred choice whenever we visit Vietnam, which is typically four times a year. The hotel is stunning and immaculately clean. We loved the whisper bar and singer and pianist. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The club lounge fantastic with drinks offered and wonderful food. Our experience in the seafood buffet outstanding. Cocktails were lovely. A huge thank you to the front concierge that helped me track down my passport when I accidentally left them in a cab. He was amazing and tracked it down within 20 minutes. I am forever grateful. Our house keeper also was fantastic and very attentive. Lovely welcoming place to stay and would love to come back to stay again.

All is good except the pillows are too soft. Every morning I woke up with neck pain.

Staff and service were exceptional! The crucial down point is the noise level. Soundproofing from the outside was really good, but not within the hotels. At nighttime, around 12 AM already, I can still clearly hear the noise of cleaning from other rooms, toilet flushes, door banging, and the staff talking to each other. My room was sprayed with a very strong mango scent, which is kinda too strong to be pleasant.

Stayed here many times and it has always been excellent. The windows in the room are double panes so you don’t hear any outside noise. The club level floor has amazing service and a bit more quiet.

Excellent in every way. They had the best breakfast we experienced on our 3 week trip to Vietnam. The staff were very helpful, our room was extremely comfortable. I wish we could have stayed another night. We'll definitely book with New World again.

This was my second time at New World, and I can say for certain that I have found my new home when in Saigon! Everything, and I mean everything was once again perfect. Started off great getting picked up at the airport by 2 great guys, as before. Was accommodated with an early check in easily and happily at the club level check in by another wonder fun staff named Ms Uv. Club level king room was wonderful as before. All the staff at the club level are just great people. My room as before was kept immaculate by Ms Thao. The breakfast and cocktail hour snacks (dinner really) was again amazing. Whisper Bar once again was my go to place in the evening for just great cocktails (but had lunch once and the food was fantastic), enjoyed wonderful old fashions with top notch bourbons served by the lovely Ms Kim, Mai, Trang, Tam, tram, Tuyet, and Vi Thanh. Yes I was there a lot, for a good reason. Plus great music each night was a plus. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Nice modern hotel downtown within walking distance of most attractions. Check-in was quick, as we booked a Residence Club room which has a separate reception on the 10th floor. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was available when we got there at 9:30am, which allowed us to settle in and relax after the flight. The lounge had a huge spread of food for both breakfast and the evening reception, and we found that we didn’t need to eat much other food throughout the day. The pool area and gym are well equipped and quiet for being in such a central location. The only issue that we encountered was that the staff at the Residence Club cocktail reception repeatedly asked my wife (who is ethnically Asian but grew up in Canada) for her room number, as if they thought she did not belong there. We observed and did not see this staff member asking any other guests for their room number more than once (only at the door when first entering), while my wife was asked at least four times — even while she’s eating and after we’ve already been there for an hour. It made her feel very unwelcome and certainly not the experience we would expect from a five-star property.

Good hotel at good location. Little disappoint with staff communication that made the trip less enjoyable. When booked for the room the staff did not advise that club room is not eligible for upgrade to suite. When booked for massage instead of 10:00 am they booked 10:00 pm

overpriced & staff not really friendly. Personally I don’t feel welcome here at all. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

I enjoy my stay every time I visit Ho Chi Minh City. New World hotel is my first choice. Mr Quoc help me feel like a VIP. He helped me with reservations at a local restaurant and also set me up at a barber to get my haircut. What an experience. I love New World. The waitresses Thy Linh and Ann. and management Miss Yen in the whisper lounge are always the best.

Service was excellent, will give six stars if there is an option. Dad had diarrhoea and somehow the staff remembered and cared. Experience was spoiled by rowdy neighbours, but fret not, esteemed friends at the hotel were very apologetic and allocated an alternative room, only after ensuring that it was quieter. Definitely will come back again

The service, staff, lounge area and food are 5 stars on the Residence Club Level. We have stayed many times, and it is always amazing.

The property is at a prime location downtown. They have a private driveway for taxi pick up and drop off. The food was decent. It is an older hotel, but well maintained and in good condition. Overall, a good stay for us. We will be back at this hotel if we visit Ho Chi Minh city again.

Great location, walking distance to Ben Thanh Market and Bui Vien Walking Street. The hotel staff were all great with their service. All amenities were as expected for a 5 star hotel in Vietnam.

Wonderful 5-star hotel conveniently located at the center of Saigon within walking distance to all major attractions. Services is the features of this hotel with wonderful staff whose always try their best (with smiles) to ensure our stay is comfortable. This is our 8 times in this hotel due to this reason. Looking forward to comeback next time.

Location near Ben Than Market. Viet Pho cafe is nearby and worth visiting. Hotel well maintained and front office staff are friendly.

Get VIP benefits for short stay, but not for long stay. The breakfast buffet could be improved with more variety. We stayed for 10 nights seeing slightly change in their food variety for breakfast.

My husband and I are frequent travellers, I recently stayed with my husband at Newworld hotel Saigon for 4 nights in February. I booked the club residency king room, inclusive of breakfast and club access. The club king room was nice but a bit small for what we used to. My husband surprised me with an upgraded to a Executive suite and so glad we did. It gave us the extra space we needed. The rooms are a bit dated but cleanliness and staff were amazing. They were always very attentive and nothing was too much for them. Always very friendly. The pool also needs a bit of a revamp. Breakfast was good, had everything you needed. I wish it had Vietnamese options and more tropical fruits. The club afternoon tea from 5.30pm - 8.00pm was the most impressive and amazing I've seen and we have stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world. There was so much food to chose from, they change menu every night. The staff at the club access were exceptional, especially Ho ( the club manager in the evening). I was craving for some papaya but wasn't served at the club that night so i asked the chef if it was possible to have some..... 15 minutes later i was served a large plate of papaya, i was very impressed with the service. Club access gave us late check out till 4pm ,which was aslo a bonus staying at the club level. Ho , the club manager, was able to extend our stay an extra hour till 5pm. Overall we had an wonderful experience and definitely will come back and stay at Newworld again.
