Very happy with choice of hotel for first stay in johannnesburg. Food excellent. Pool was closed for one afternoon during our stay but staff arranged and took us to a neighbouring hotel to use their’s. Reinforced how good the pool area was in our hotel. Punctual shuttle to Sandton city. Hotel also on free shuttle stop for hop on/off bus

It was my worst experience shower were not functioning either extreme hot or chill water flowing while bath and parking being charged even for hotel guest . Never stay in future in this property .

The cleaner would clean and not leave any towels in the room and we had to keep asking for them. They also did not provide the one free bottle of drinking water so we ended up having to buy. The carpet in the room was dirty and not cleaned. The knob to close the window was broken so with a slight push the window would just open. The light in the closet did not automatically witch off when you closed the door so it was on through out the night which is annoying.

To be honest we expected better. With the name comes a level of expectation. You expect good up to date facilities with amazing service. We recieved amazing service from the cleaning staff, the kitchen and the drivers but the front desk staff weren\'t amazing and the facilities were dated. We called to advise we were hoping onto the Guatrain to make use of the shuttle service. The driver was not advised of our arrival and "management" don\'t brand the vehicles as per policy. This resulted in us waiting over an hour at the Guatrain to be collected. All other hotel shuttles were branded we eventually asked a driver who just happened to get out and he was the Hilton driver. He informed us he wasn\'t initially informed of our arrival. On arrival at the hotel I complained to the front desk and they seemed not to concerned. I advised we had booked with breakfast despite them saying we had not. Resolved the issue with our booking confirmation and was told all was sorted only to go to breakfast the next day to be told we had to pay for breakfast so had to once again explain. The rooms are dated. No decent ports in the room. Had to go to the business centre where I found a single USB port Mismatched cheap plastic toilet seat on a square toilet. The whole feel wasn\'t as expected. I got bitten on the first night at least 18 bites from some bug. Asked reception to have someone come spray our room while we were out the next evening. Just didn\'t live up to expectations.

As a traveller carrying electronics from other parts of the world USB ports are quite handy for hotels, but these are not available at this hotel, plus the staff can´t find solutions to this and seemed not very empathetic when it came to solve charging electronics

Na minha chegada a recepção não localizava minha reserva, depois de mais de uma hora esperando, cansada da viagem e com meu marido passando mal, informaram que haviam localizado e pediram p esperar por que não tinha quarto disponível. No dia seguinte deixaram uma carta mal educada debaixo de minha porta mandando comparecer à recepção para pegar pela hospedagem. Mais uma vez uma série de transtornos.

Det tog över en timme att få min beställning från roomservice. Vid poolen tog det 30 min att få min drink då personalen inte kunde göra den själv. Maten (utöver frukosten) var ganska smaklös och i gigantiska portioner. Skön säng och kuddar, trevlig och gullig personal.

BEST BREAKFAST BUFFET EVER!! They made to order fresh juice. The omelet chef was amazing and the hostess was the sweetest thing ever The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was beautiful. Definitely would recommend!
