Das Zimmer (Modern Room) war wunderschön. Klar das Gebäude ist über 300 Jahre alt und es gibt Gebrauchsspuren. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit könnte für ein 5-Sterne Hotel etwas besser sein. Auf Hotels.com und einer weiteren Plattform wurde das Parken mit „Kostenlos“ angepriesen. Am Ende haben wir aber leider 980 Kronen (ca. 40 Euro) für zwei Tage bezahlt. Das fanden wir Mega schade. Der Spa Bereich wurde mal erneuert und macht einen sehr luxuriösen Eindruck. Allerdings sind in der Sauna alle mit Badekleidung unterwegs gewesen und es gab kein Obst oder andere kleinen Snacks. Das war etwas schade für einen Wellnessaufenthalt. Das Frühstück war groß und richtig gut. Die beiden Bars (besonders die Signature Cocktails) sind das absolute Highlight des Hotels. Die geheime Splendid Bar sollte man auf jeden Fall nach einer vorherigen Reservierung besuchen. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man nur ein kleines bisschen James Bond mag und etwas ganz außergewöhnliches erleben mag. Zu allen Signature Cocktails gibt es eine Story, wie es zu den Komponenten kam und diese Story bekommt man auch erzählt. Jeder einzelne Cocktail war eine neue Geschmackserfahrung und mehr als nur empfehlenswert. Die Gesamterscheinung des Hotels begeistert jedes Mal aufs Neue und die Lage macht ein flanieren in Karlsbad zu einem Genuss ohne auf das Auto angewiesen zu sein. Für Karlsbad ist das Grandhotel Pupp eine der absoluten Top-Adressen.

We had such a lovely stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and really nice, and the front view was just stunning. We traveled with our 6-month-old baby and our small dog, and everything was perfectly prepared for us. The baby bed was super comfortable, and the little complimentary toy was such a sweet touch. Our dog was spoiled too with a cozy bed, bowls, and even a chewing snack. We also really enjoyed the spa and pool area. The deck chairs were so comfy, and when we pushed them together, they made the perfect extra-large lounging spot for us and the baby — almost like a sofa. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Our stay at the Grandhotel Pupp was enjoyable. The staff was really nice and helpful. The atmosphere is luxurious and the breakfast and dinner were tasty with lots of choices. The only critique we have is that the spa and café seem a bit small for such a big hotel. We also had to queue for breakfast both times, again the facilities might be a bit too small for the number of rooms/guests.

What can you say? It’s a once in a lifetime experience and was excellent throughout! A few tips: - Spend the few extra dollars to stay in the “Riverside” section; it is worthwhile. - the spa is great, but be mindful that it does not have a geothermal pool - just a regular pool and a mix of saunas/steamrooms. Overall, magical and magnificent!

For a five star hotel you expect the room to be spotless but i found mould in the shower and the fridge wasn’t clean and they told me my room had a forest view there was no forest the only thing i could see is the rooms at the other side of the hotel and the hand towel were stained … and i had to walk to another reception to go to the spa … for me it was over rated.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Direkt an der Promenade. Gartenview bedeutet Hanglage. Wir hätten dies nicht gebucht, wenn dies genauer beschrieben gewesen wäre. Unser Zimmer war sehr dunkel dafür groß und neu. Der Mitarbeiter beim Check In war auch nicht sehr herzlich bei unserer Ankunft. Eher wie ein Roboter. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von der Sauberkeit der Betten. Verschmutzte Bettwäsche, verschmutzte Inletts sowie verschmutzte Matratzen. Voller Flecken. Der Bettenwechsel hat uns gut 1 Stunde Zeit gekostet. Das Bett wurde fünf mal neu bezogen. Die beiden Damen waren sehr freundlich und konnten es selbst nicht glauben, warum sämtliche „frische Bettwäsche“ auch verschmutzt war. Unglaublich für ein solches Haus mit fünf Sternen! Die Sauberkeit im Bad war oberflächlich. Haare fanden wir auch bei der Ankunft an den Fliesen. Die Duschabtrennung wurde auch während unseres Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Gesaugt/gewischt wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes auch nicht. Flusen lagen über dem gesamten Zeitraum. Das in den Bewertungen so hochgelobte Frühstück war eher standard und fand in der eigentlichen Lobby statt. Keine frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen nach Wunsch, keine Cooking Station für Waffeln oder Süßspeisen. Die Sitzplätze sind teils um das Buffet gebaut, d.h. es ist immer Trubel und nicht wirklich entspannend zu frühstücken. Um einen zweiten Cappuccino zu bekommen, mussten wir das Personal heran rufen. Von alleine kam niemand erneut fragen. Pool war ok aber klein.

Beautiful hotel. Booked a twin room in what is advertised as a forest view room. All we could see over the top of the roof of the other section of building was a few tree tops. There is no forest as the hotel backs onto a rocky cliff. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were quite firm and the pillows too soft to the point your head would would get encased in them. Buffet breakfast was included and considering the grandness of the hotel, just ok. Had the basic hot and cold options but not as much variety as other much less luxurious hotels I've stayed at. The indoor pool, spa and sauna areas are very good

We had a great time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great history that hotel might want to do a better job of presenting. Nice location but a long ways from train station. Experience would be greatly improved if hotel negotiated with taxi drivers to stop charging excessive prices and taking circuitous routes. With global warming, temperatures in Carlsbad are much warmer than in the past. Hotel would benefit from installing air conditioning in rooms. At present common areas such as restaurant have a/c but rooms do not. And there is little ventilation or air circulation.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel und ein sehr großes und geräumiges Zimmer ( modern) . Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist alles sehr sauber. Leider war es im Zimmer sehr kalt. Bei draußen unter 10 grad war die Zimmertemperatur auf 21,5 Grad eingestellt und nicht zu ändern. Sogar im Flur war es wärmer als im Zimmer. Zum Spa-Bereich ist es ein ganzes Stück zu laufen. Es könnte besser ausgeschildert sein. Sonst ist alles sauber und schön. Frühstück wird hinter der Rezeption serviert. Ein sehr schönes Ambiente aber es ist sehr schade, dass man als Gast im Nebengebäude nicht das Angebot / die Möglichkeit bekommt, das Frühstück in dem schönen Saal im Hauptgebäude einzunehmen. Es wäre auch gut, wenn man schon aus der Beschreibung erfahren würde, dass die modernen Zimmer nicht im Hauptgebäude sind und einen eigenen Eingang und eine eigene Rezeption haben. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Personal am buffet sehr nett und man bekommt direkt Kaffee angeboten, sobald man am Tisch sitzt.

Wir waren für 5 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen Hotel. An jeder Ecke spürt man den historischen Charme dieses Hauses. Auch wenn nicht alles top modern ist, so punktet das Pupp mit einem perfekten Service, beginnend mit dem Parkservice, und Räumlichkeiten die einfach traumhaft sind. Ein Dinner im Restaurant , man fühlt sich wie ein König. Alles sehr lecker zubereitet und mit perfektem Service serviert. Der Service auf dem Zimmer war schnell und alles war sehr gut. Die tägliche kleine Schokolade war immer sehr lecker. Ein Stück Pupptorte im Cafe Pupp rundet das alles gefolgt von einem abendlichen Besuch in der Bar perfekt ab.Das Hotel ist für einen Besuch in Karlsbad sicher die erste Wahl.

THE worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced. The room that they put us in looked nothing like the photos and much smaller. They insisted that this was the same price range. When I asked whether there are other rooms, the front desk staff was really reluctant, but the hotel was empty since it was on a Monday, during slow season. The second room that he took us to, was what we booked online, so the room was available this whole time! When we went back to grab our luggage from the other room, came back downstairs to front desk, the staff accused us of stealing the bath robes. I asked what bathrobes? Do you see any bathrobes on me? Plus, why the heck would I take any bathrobes? We’re staying here for two nights and we’re just moving from one room to another? We also had staff escorting us this whole time. It was an awful accusation and we didn’t receive any apology. We were stuck in the elevator for about 5 minutes. We banged on the door, but no one answered. The elevator could take us up and down but the door wouldn’t open. We took the elevator back down to lobby, banged on the door, finally the staff came and opened for us. Again, absolutely 0 apology. In fact, during our two day stay, we were never acknowledged by the staff when we walked by front desk. We booked massages and facials for two days. The massage was awful, honestly the worst. So I called to cancel the facial for the next day. They still charged me even though I cancelled within 24 hours.

Concierge is useless so if you value bookings being made on time, best to do it yourself. The bar manager a.k.a the supposedly "best bartender" has let it go to his head and is probably the rudest person we have ever encountered in all our travels. Go to Becher\'s Bar with caution - completely overrated. Overall the hotel is nice, especially the lobby bar but the rooms are in dire need of a refresh. Make sure you book Riverside room as these are the only ones in the main building.

Wonderful old hotel with modern spa, pool, and sauna facilities. Our Superior Room was a good size with a view over the courtyard and down the Main Street of Karlovy Vary. Staff were very helpful - English was well understood, as was Czech, Russian and Polish - and the buffet breakfast was plentiful with ample choice. Valet parking was easy. But mainly, the hotel is stately and the lobbies, corridors, restaurants and bars are bars are beautifully decorated and well maintained.

Fantastic building and atmosphere! We had a wonderful stay and loved to discover bits of the hotel's long and impressive history. Abundant breakfast until 11. Stylish and pleasant pool. Altogether great value for money. The old part of Karlovy Vary is very beautiful, too. The hotel is located right at the end of the pedestrian zone with all its beautiful buildings and shopping opportunities.

Der Spa Bereich wurde mal erneuert und macht einen sehr luxuriösen Eindruck. Allerdings sind in der Sauna alle mit Badekleidung unterwegs gewesen und es gab kein Obst oder andere kleinen Snacks. Das war etwas schade für einen Wellnessaufenthalt. Das Frühstück war groß und richtig gut. Die beiden Bars (besonders die Signature Cocktails) sind das absolute Highlight des Hotels. Die geheime Splendid Bar sollte man auf jeden Fall nach einer vorherigen Reservierung besuchen. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man nur ein kleines bisschen James Bond mag und etwas ganz außergewöhnliches erleben mag. Zu allen Signature Cocktails gibt es eine Story, wie es zu den Komponenten kam und diese Story bekommt man auch erzählt. Jeder einzelne Cocktail war eine neue Geschmackserfahrung und mehr als nur empfehlenswert. Die Gesamterscheinung des Hotels begeistert jedes Mal aufs Neue und die Lage macht ein flanieren in Karlsbad zu einem Genuss ohne auf das Auto angewiesen zu sein. Für Karlsbad ist das Grandhotel Pupp eine der absoluten Top-Adressen.

Our stay at the Grandhotel Pupp was enjoyable. The staff was really nice and helpful. The atmosphere is luxurious and the breakfast and dinner were tasty with lots of choices. The only critique we have is that the spa and café seem a bit small for such a big hotel. We also had to queue for breakfast both times, again the facilities might be a bit too small for the number of rooms/guests.

Such a beautiful town and everything is walkable. The hotel restaurant was booked our first night for dinner, so the front desk helped us book another equally amazing restaurant for dinner. The spa/hot tubs were lovely, though we weren't able to schedule any services. Lunch at the main restaurant was a highlight **expensive but worth it! The room was well appointed with comfy bedding and pillows - plus a chocolate! And now I need to go back!!

Zimmer und Lage sind top. Alle Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber das Frühstück ist eine Katastrophe und eines 5 Sterne Hotels nicht würdig. Das Essen vom roomservice war auch eher unterdurchschnittlich .

Das hatte meine Erwartungen übertroffen! Der Service war A . Nettes Personal, Zimmer, Ausstattung und alles. Besonders hervorzuheben war der Wellnessbereich, die Becher's bar und die Mahlzeiten (v.a Frühstück) Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis auf jeden Fall!
