The property couldn’t be any better situated for shopping and convenience. Food Basics is right next door and the shopping mall is less than 2 minutes drive down the road. Their are two restaurants in house, one on weekends for prime rib and other specialties, the other is a pub catering to all your lighter side meals.

A good hotel like this requires an elevator. My Wife and I are Seniors thus it is tiring to climb stairs carrying luggage. We like the hotel and now know to book a first floor room when we next visit. The “No Elevator” comment was common at breakfast. This is a very good centrally located hotel with one major requirement. Thank you for listening.

Great mattress and pillows. The room was quiet, good size. It is old but the condition of the space is good and well kept. Wishing the gym had some weights and water. Breakfast was good. We were there for 2 nights, the breakfast was the same. Not a fan of the breakfast sausages, texture was like a hotdog. Staff were very kind.

As we came for a graduation on a red eye flight we requested an early check in to shower and the person just stuck to the 3pm check in (no empathy for the situation). Workout equipment was run down and in general the place could use an upgrade.

Good-sized, clean room and all staff we interacted with were very friendly. Hearty breakfast in nice space with regular cutlery and plates which we appreciate due to eco-friendliness. Breakfast could benefit from more variety -- same sausages, scrambled eggs, home fries, breads and sides every day. We have stayed here in the past and liked the kitschy decor but this time room was quite musty and window is sealed. Could benefit from a good airing, remodel and improved ventilation. We kept the bathroom fan on continuously. Enjoyed the outdoor pool but it is looking tired -- could use some new tiles and resurfacing. Location is good as it is a 10 minute drive to downtown and lots of restaurants close by.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this Best Western. The hotel staff were very pleasant, the breakfast was wonderful, their outdoor pool was heated and very clean, the beds were soft and had lots of pillows. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel and waited and waited to be served. I am on crutches and the front desk clerk was visibly upset as I was to be on the second floor. He said he can’t change the room. I was like what would you like me to do. So with lots of huffing and puffing he found a room. The room was clean but headboards had so much dust on them it looked like years since they had been cleaned. Breakfast was another story. Cottage cheese and fruit were warm. The attendant in the restaurant was so rude. She was yelling at people and making negative comments about what food I was eating. I got up and left. (Still hungry) I would not recommend this place just to the seer rudeness of the staff.

Unfortunately, my review is too long to be placed here, so here's the TL;DR version: - Dead - and living - bugs in the room in various places - Other people's hair and body lint in the bed, bathroom and shower - Ancient decor that desperately needs an update - Filthy ceiling vents and behind furniture - Only the most obviously-visible places were cleaned (barely) + Front desk staff was amazing (Fred) Full Review on Google called "The Good, the bug and the Ugly"

Property is an older one and is quite large. It is a two story building with no elevator so challenging with luggage. Also no microwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The suite was very rustic and cosy and quite large. The bed was comfortable. The TV was challenging, limited channels and quite snowy.

room was good - clean someone STOMPING around upstairs all night and early morning - so didnt get much sleep BREAKFAST- 9am no-one in the room but breakfast choices were pitifull. no eggs, no spoons in tray, Coffee was awful, no bacon, dry ham and sausage, no orange juice few pieces of bread, not as good a stay as we had 2 weeks ago

Check went good and fast. The room is ok , for the price not too fantastic. The bed and furniture are old and dated. The bathroom needs a makeover. The fan in the bathroom grinds and the Ac is so loud when you are trying to sleep. The pool was good , but it is outside only pool. The free breakfast was ok for free , but definitely not worth paying for. Check out was quick. It was loud in the morning with people getting up.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facility was so comfortable. The hotel was very homey and welcoming with a quiet but busy pub in the lobby. And the room’s fireplace and seating area were so cozy and nice during our cold weekend in Kingston. The room was comfortable and the bathroom amenities were really well-thought out. Dual head shower, extra curtain space, shower cap and nice mild, but softly scented soaps, ample shelving for toiletries and very good lighting options. I was very comfortable here during my three night stay.

Room was definitely dated, but cosy with the electric fireplace. The tv could definitely use an upgrade, pic was very fuzzy and there was no guide. Air conditioner was annoying at night starting up every 20 minutes. Pool was clean and very nice. Staff was friendly. Disappointed that I couldn’t use my BW points because I booked the room thru Expedia.

Daytime staff were excellent, night staff woman was quite rude, and seemed like she didn't want to be bothered with the bell. Unfortunately that is part of her job being the night person? People come in late .... Hotel was extremely clean, well kept, no issues other than no microwave in the room, kind of annoying. Loved this hotel ! Would come back ! Only suggestion DO NOT USE AMEYS TAXI for out of town use. UBER and if going to ganonoque call A one taxi to bring you back. AMEY way over charges . We ended up paying double what we needed too.

Staff was friendly and pleasant as well as professional. Room including bathroom very clean and comfortable. In house dining was a big plus - food, service excellent, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was superb, only fault was the sausage and potatoes could have been warmer. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

Fred at the front desk is super knowledgeable and helpful! The chef for the morning breakfast is wonderful....those potatoes. I love the fact that your booking comes with breakfast! We use this hotel every time we see our daughter in Kingston!

Nice and clean property as well as room... it's ok for people with a vehicle but not very convenient if you have to take a cab every where. Breakfast is nice but it should be extended to 12AM especially on weekends
