Great location, in walking distance to most sites. Pool was disappointing, very small, not heated and mostly in the shade. The tv channels are limited and could not connect to Netflix or prime. Even the staff couldn’t get it connected.

The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed it very much and we enjoyed the room amd extra space it provided. We enjoyed the location and proximity to amenities. Pet friendliness was also a bonus. Thanks to the staff for recommendations and amazing service!!!

We loved our king bed room overlooking the lake! It was really beautiful and super comfortable. The parking garage cannot accommodate pick up trucks or anything larger, but there is parking lot across the street which fills up in the evening. Just a heads up for weary travelers.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location but not worth it considering the quality of rooms and cleanliness. For a comparable price it would’ve been worth staying in a higher quality hotel in the area. My room was messy and there was hair everywhere. I went to make coffee in the morning and there were leftovers from the people that stayed there before me. At least rinse the pot and make it convincing that it was cleaned. The bathroom condition was the worst part. It was either missed in cleaning or cleaned in 10 seconds or less. One of the towels wasn’t even folded, just tossed up on the rack. I asked to check in an hour early but was told to come back at check in. This isn’t a problem but the problem is that I waited just to come back to a dirty room? At this point it would’ve been the same if the people who stayed before me just gave me their keycard on the way out. I am disappointed for how much I paid for this hotel and for the experience I got. At least the view was nice.

The hotel is in an ideal location. Lovely view of the lake and everything was walkable. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The hotel itself is pretty basic and outdated. I got a good rate so was fine with that but if I paid a full rate (apparently a typical rate is $300+ per night) I would be disappointed.

Somewhat run down. dated building that is well kept by pleasant staff. Not a lot of soundproofing between rooms. Pleasant enough quick stay for one night and incredible location, but I'm not sure I would recommend this hotel to others.

Upon entering the room the broken antenna was on the floor subsequently no tv. Notified the front desk and they sent a cleaning staff to fix the cable that I had stated needed replacing. No tv that evening, Next morning notified front desk again and upon returning later still no tv. Notified desk again and advised no one or cable available. They finally offered an upgrade but we didn't want to lug our luggage to another room so we just accepted we will be withouta tv.

My room was large and clean. Lots of seating area and a small desk to work at. Bed was great, with just the type of hotel pillows I would 6ove to have at home. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable pricing, given the proximity to shops and restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a very positive experience at Confederation place hotel.The staff are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to accommodate the guests’ needs. The location is perfect: close to all the attractions and restaurants. Rooms are quite old but really clean. A front desk representative was very efficient at getting our room ready even earlier than expected, and was very polite and friendly. The gentleman serving breakfast was also very attentive and professional.

On the night we checked in I was trying to call the front desk to ensure I had a gluten free option for our 'to go' breakfast the next morning. It rang for about 5 minutes and I eventually gave up. As it happened the gluten free breakfast option is always available so I didn't need to speak to them. It would have been nice to get an answer though.

Great location with most of downtown Kingston within easy walking distance. The room we had was lake view, over the harbour. This hotel is definitely showing signs of age/wear and tear. While our room was okay the hotel itself needs a refresh. Parking is NOT free and cost us $45 for our 2 night stay.

Amazing area of Kingston and Islands. Hotel is older but clean and staff wonderful. Breakfast is boxed so if you don’t like that don’t go there or give your boxed breakfast to the homeless and go to great local eateries.

My cousin and I did a girl's weekend in Kingston. The location of the hotel was excellent! It was within walking distance of the many shops and restaurants along Princess Street. Also liked the fact that we were close to the harbour. The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The view from our hotel room was beautiful. Not a fan of the Bento Box for breakfast, would have liked to have some options. Overall we had a lovely stay and will recommend the hotel to others.

We chose the room as it had 3 beds. So convient for our needs. The breakfast was listed as continental but ended up being a boxed breakfast containing hard boiled eggs, cheese, a muffin and yogurt…not what we expected but no choice as they were all the same. Have never had a boxed breakfast, so was a little disappointed.
