It is good for the price, but you get what you pay for. The location was convenient, it was centrally located, but very busy and crowded. The staff was very nice and accommodating and gave great recommendations for things to do and dining. The room was small but comfortable. It did get warm and the fan that was provided did not help much. Parking is not free. You have to park around the corner in an underground garage. It is very tight and hard to maneuver in or out of it. Parking cost is €10 for 24 hrs with hotel stamp.

Super zentral gelegen, besser geht es kaum. Alles zu Fuß oder per Tram gut erreichbar. Ruhig, doppelte Fenster, daher dring nichts von draußen rein. Abstriche muss man bei der Sauberkeit und beim Frühstück machen, besser ohne buchen und ins Café gehen. Für einen kurzen Trip nach Liegé allerdings super geeignet, wenn die Erkundung der City im Vordergrund steht. Parken ist ebenfall super im darunter gelegenen Parkhaus für 10€ pro Tag (Stand 2025) mit abgestempleter Parkkarte.

Het hotel ligt midden in het centrum. En vanuit hier kun je overal naartoe lopen. Er is 24 uur receptie. Wat fijn is. Parkeren kan in de Opéra garage en kost 10 euro voor ibis gasten. Prima geslapen. En ik raad het hotel dan ook zeker aan.

Hervorragende Lage im Stadtzentrum. Alles fußläufig problemlos erreichbar. Sehr ruhig. Parkplatz im Parkhaus mit dem Aufzug erreichbar und mit 10,- am Tag günstig. Hotel insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Keine Möglichkeit zum Lüften da sich Fenster nicht öffnen lassen. Für eine Städtetour aber empfehlenswert.

Booked this hotel specifically as they offered parking which was important for us traveling on 4 motorbikes.... We needed only 1 parking spot but were told motorbikes were not allowed and we had to go to a car park some minutes away which cost us €15 PER MOTORBIKE, despite us taking up 1 parking space...... What started out as a great value hotel truned out to cost us significantly more! Worst thing was, the hotel parking lot held around 200 parking sapces and during our time there only about 50 were occupied!!!!!

Hotel OK - Perfect location. The hotel is a basic Ibis like all the others, that's the good thing about the chain, in general the same standard as anywhere else. The room is small, but clean and meets the needs for bathing and sleeping. The bed is good, the pillow is a little small but ok. The hotel's differential is the location, which is simply the best possible, and the parking is in the basement of the hotel and costs only 10 EUR per day.

To whom this may concern, I stayed the past weekend (December 19th/20th) with my wife and daughter at ibis Liège Centre Opéra, room 517, while visiting the Christmas Market. I am writing to formally express my disappointment and shock regarding the condition of the bathroom in our room. As shown in the attached photos I took during our stay, the bathroom was in a completely unacceptable state. There was a persistent rotten drain smell throughout our stay, which was already unpleasant enough. However, every time we took a shower, the bathtub leaked brown water all over the bathroom floor. This was not only disgusting, but also extremely disappointing, especially given that we were travelling as a family. This is absolutely not the standard we expected when booking an ibis hotel. The situation made our stay very uncomfortable and left us with a very poor impression of your establishment. I am extremely disappointed by this experience and will think twice before booking at ibis again in the future. I would appreciate your feedback on this matter. Kind regards, P. du Plessis

E’ un classico Ibis, un po’ al di sotto della media. Le stanze sono veramente piccole. La moquette della stanza e quella dei corridoi sono veramente molto macchiate. Cortesi ed efficienti gli addetti alla reception, ottima la colazione servita in un ampio locale. Problematico il raggiungimento del Parking Opera, con cui la struttura è convenzionata, a causa dei lavori in corso e delle isole pedonali

Equipe de réception et de petit-déjeuner extrêmement pro et accueillante. J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner très varié et bien tenu (l'un de mes meilleurs petits-déjeuners en ibis, il y avait même des concombres et des tomates). La chambre 518 était spacieuse, bien agencée et avec une vue dégagée. En revanche je vous conseille de demander une chambre de l'autre côté avec des fenêtres qui s'ouvrent. Comme le stipule la description, il n'y a pas d'air conditionné (mais un ventilateur), cependant pour la température comme pour l'aération il est agréable de pouvoir ouvrir.

Equipe de réception et de petit-déjeuner extrêmement pro et accueillante. J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner très varié et bien tenu (l'un de mes meilleurs petits-déjeuners en ibis, il y avait même des concombres et des tomates). Stayed for the 3rd time for attending BL marathon. The only tings we did not like is that the windows do not open and it was warm and ’no air’ in the room. Reception borrowed us a small cooler! The bed is crammed in a corner so little difficult get in snd out and the bed legs were a bit loose and shaky. Did not try the 15 euro breakfast down in the basement.

Great location and lovely staff, but the hotel is a bit tired. Good size room and comfortable bed, but windows didn't open and no aircon, so rather stuffy - used the portable fan. Refurb bathroom has shower over rather high sided bath. Hotel is fine for a couple of nights.

Hotel is located very central. That is ab big advantage. The room was quite small, less comfort. Unfortunately after a warm day we had above 26 Celsius during the night. No aircon or windows to open.

De kamers zijn erg klein als je met kinderen bent. Bij de receptie zeiden ze dat parkeren €10 per dag zou zijn. Zijn geen hele dag geweest en moesten €18 betalen. Badkamer ook erg klein en zeer vervelende instsap in bad voor ouderen.

Super zentral gelegen, besser geht es kaum. Alles zu Fuß oder per Tram gut erreichbar. Ruhig, doppelte Fenster, daher dring nichts von draußen rein. Für einen kurzen Trip nach Liegé allerdings super geeignet, wenn die Erkundung der City im Vordergrund steht. Parken ist ebenfall super im darunter gelegenen Parkhaus für 10€ pro Tag (Stand 2025) mit abgestempleter Parkkarte.

Since Inlast stayed here two years ago there has been an upgrade to the rooms, which is to be welcomed. Central location and perfect for going to the opera house, which is literally next door.

Hervorragende Lage im Stadtzentrum. Alles fußläufig problemlos erreichbar. Sehr ruhig. Parkplatz im Parkhaus mit dem Aufzug erreichbar und mit 10,- am Tag günstig. Hotel insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Keine Möglichkeit zum Lüften da sich Fenster nicht öffnen lassen. Für eine Städtetour aber empfehlenswert.

Hotel ligt in centrum, bushaltes voor de deur, kerstmarkt begint aan de overkant in zijstraat, betaald parkeren onder hotel, simpel maar goed ontbijtbuffet, snelle incheck, vriendelijk personeel en spreken Frans en Engels. Enige nadeel is dat de kamer erg warm is en geen raam open kon en geen airco Helaas heel veel wegwerkzaamheden in Luik toen wij er waren Perfect hotel voor 1 of 2 nachten

Equipe de réception et de petit-déjeuner extrêmement pro et accueillante. J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner très varié et bien tenu (l'un de mes meilleurs petits-déjeuners en ibis, il y avait même des concombres et des tomates). La chambre 518 était spacieuse, bien agencée et avec une vue dégagée. En revanche je vous conseille de demander une chambre de l'autre côté avec des fenêtres qui s'ouvrent. Comme le stipule la description, il n'y a pas d'air conditionné (mais un ventilateur), cependant pour la température comme pour l'aération il est agréable de pouvoir ouvrir.

Staff were welcoming and friendly Room was small, carpet was filthy. The bed was uncomfortable there were two thin, unsecured single mattress toppers which moved apart through the night leaving an uncomfortable gap. The pillows were poor quality. Room was hot, window opened, but couldn't leave it open as it gave access to the room via the fire escape. The whole building was tired and tatty. €2.50 for hot water for a drink is totally unreasonable. The stay was not worth the money.

Tout était parfait. Il faisait particulièrement chaud ce weekend (13/06 au 15/06/2025) à l'extérieur, mais, malgré le fait que les chambres ne soient pas climatisées, avec le ventilateur qui est disponible dans la chambre et grâce à la bienveillance du personnel qui a fermé les rideaux des baies vitrées pour éviter que le soleil ne réchauffe la pièce, la température était tout à fait acceptable. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien. La chambre était très propre.

Chambre petite, mais confortable. Accueil, et petit déjeuner très bien. Petit regret sur le prix des boissons chaudes à la machine, 3 € pour un chocolat dans un gobelet, 2,50 € pour de l'eau chaude, c'est un poil exagéré.

La moquette de la chambre était sale , on ne peut ouvrir les fenêtres , il faisait trop chaud. Le petit dejeuner est basique , à9h il n'y avait plus de viennoiseries , pains ... Le personnel par contre à l'accueil est sympathique .

Frühstück war nicht gut, weil die Brötchen und Brot waren viel zu staubtrocken dass man gleich als Paniermehl draus machen kann. Waffeln hat ein sehr komisches Geschmack. Wir haben alles liegen gelassen und gleich beim Bäcker um die Ecke ein Frisch belegte Baguette gegessen der war richtig gut belegt als im Hotel. 12 € pro Person für das Frühstück NICHT zu empfehlen ‼️

We came to the hotel and got the room. The toilet was clogged. It was fixed while we went into the city. The room was ok, but very warm. We turned to the heat, but it didn’t help. We couldn’t open the windows. The toilet was making noise. The breakfast was good but the breakfast room was very tiny and people was standing waiting for seating. All in all ok. Location perfect and parking easy.
