The staff were excellent here and the hotel was good value for the high star rating for the property. There however were a few issues. The shower floor was always overflowing outside onto the carpet after a short shower. The sauna was out of order for our entire stay. The spa was also not in operation for the duration of the trip. The hotel was perhaps a bit out of the way of the main attraction in Brussels.

An oddly placed property that worked well for our visit to WSL. The layout of the hotel is strange with numerous hallways that don't connect .... we seemed to constantly be transiting through the bar lobby. The weirdest thing is that they have a very large swimming pool but NO TOWELS provided. We found we had to go to the front check-in desk to pick up towels. (No sign was displayed in the pool area no staff member told us about the towel pick-up when we asked about pool hours). Our room was spacious but towels were not fully replaced. Our worst experience was a total LOSS OF POWER on FRIDAY afternoon/evening. We were going out and did not have power for the hair dryer. NO APOLOGY whatsoever from the staff. When we checked out and they asked how our stay was, we mentioned the Friday night disaster and their response was "some construction was going on". At $300 /night we expected some apology and/or reduction on the bill. The breakfast was a bit disappointing no fresh eggs were available. When the one an donly coffee machine stoppped (on 2 different mornings), the staff seemed at a loss as to how to resolve it ... the manager came simply emptied the lower bin. Staff training could definitely be improved. Unless you need to be in WSL, I would stay elsewhere.

The cleaner we had (black guy, forgot his name), he's amazing. He's gone over and beyond to make our stay a comfortable stay and ppl on my floor said the same thing. He deserves a raise 👍 However no sauna available for whole trip, it's ridiculous, I paid for sauna use and got nothing.

Everything was perfect except the sauna was out of service, we specifically picked this hotel for the sauna and the whole week, no sauna, so I don't know why I bothered. But the staff are amazing, cleaning staff were awesome, and it was a nice stay!

I have attended a conference in Brussels. The conference hotel was full, therefore I booked for the first time in the Tangla Hotel. I had a comfortable stay over the three days. My standard room was absolutely clean and I had everything I need for a stay (WIFI, desk, comfortable bed and a clean shower. I used the spa area and the sauna, it was perfect for my needs. I can't say anything about breakfast and restaurant, because I didn't use it. I would definitely come back to the Tangla Hotel, when I'm in Brussels. Thanks a lot for everybody (visible and not visible) at the Tangla Hotel, who made my stay comfortable.

Morgenmaden næsten kun kinesisk, personale i restauranten virkede uengageret og var ikke gode til at fylde op. Møbler på værelse og i restaurant meget slidte, porcelæn havde skår. Hotellet ligger perfekt for toget til Bruxelles, kun 10 minutters gang til stationen.

Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas abseits, jedoch ist die Verkehrsanbindung zufriedenstellend. Insgesamt macht das Hotel einen ordentlichen Eindruck, das Personal ist freundlich und die Zimmergröße ausreichend. Leider lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig, was bei genauerem Hinsehen deutlich wird – etwas, das man lieber vermeiden möchte. Auch der Speisesaal ist nicht besonders sauber, zudem laut und wenig einladend. Das Frühstück bietet zwar eine ausreichende Auswahl, doch die Qualität der Speisen entspricht nicht dem, was man von einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde. Drei Sterne wären realistischer und angemessen. Ich kann das Hotel daher nicht empfehlen.

Overall et dejligt hotel, Jeg synes vi fik meget for pengene. Meget venligt og imødekommende personale. Lækker morgenmadsbuffet med stort og varieret udvalg. Hotellet virker en smule slidt i form af, at ting, der var i stykker, ikke bliver fikset. F. eks havde vi booket et værelse med badekar, men bundproppen sluttede ikke tæt, så karbad blev der ikke noget af. Værelset som helhed var lækkert.

Hotellet siger selv de er et 5 stjernet hotel. Men efter mine mange ophold gennem rigtig mange år rundt omkring i verden, er dette hotel maksimalt 3 stjernet. Dørene til værelserne smækker i med et kæmpe BRAG som vækker alle inden for 5 værelser til hver side, så man kan først sove ordentligt når alle har besluttet sig for at gå i seng. Rengøringen er meget mangelfuld. Kun en gang kunne jeg se de havde gjort mit toilet rent(spor i toilet) Restauranterne er elendige,Vi fik burgere som blev sendt retur fordi de var kolde, efter 2 timers venten fik vi nye som OGSÅ var kolde. Da vi brokkede os over ventetiden fik vi at vide at vi måtte vente fordi vi havde sendt vores mad retur og var placeret helt bagerst i køen. Ved et andet besøg i den anden restaurant fik vi kolde ris, og tjeneren rystede på hovedet af os da vi bad om at få varme ris. Igen tog det tid, hvorfor vi måtte fortælle tjeneneren at vi ønskede vores ris hurtigt ellers ville reste af maden jo blive kold. Til dette mødte han os med hovedrysten.... utrolig uhøflig og dårlig betjening. Desuden bestilte vi 2 chokolade fondang, tjeneren kom tilbage og meddelte at vi kun kunne få en...? øhhh nå.. Jamen jeg fik så den ene der var tilbage, men det havde INTET at gøre med chokolade fondang. Det jeg fik var en chokolade muffin med lidt is oven på. Så alt i alt er både hotel OG restauranterne ALT for dyre i forhold til den kvalitet man får, og med mindre deres priser bliver halveret, har jeg været på dette hotel for sidste gang

very well maintained hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. the restaurants were good and the bar had nice hot and cold drinks options. the staff were always smiling, and very nice and helpful, especially Jennifer. the hotel is conveniently also located close to the university and hospital, so it can be ideal if you have frequent trips there, although it can be quite expensive.

Totally honest review. We waited for 2 hours on a 3pm check in on a Sunday when we’d booked an executive suite for four days, can you even believe this?? Upon arriving at the hotel, we were told that our room is not ready to go and have a free drink in the restaurant. We were not allowed Champayne. Complained and they finally gave it to us. Finally got the key at 5 pm so waited an extra two hours. Bearing in mind my partner had surgery the next day at 5 am. The duty manager is an absolute disgrace! He came down, looking scruffy in jumper,jeans and trainers we could not believe it. He didn’t have a care in the world on his phone, avoiding the situation. My girlfriend saw him in the corridor out the way, when we were complaining on the phone. When I approached him, he did not shake my hand. He just looked at me. Confused didn’t offer any complimentary dinner or anything like that as a sorry. Really really bad management some of the staff were friendly and some are not friendly at all. Totally honest review. We waited for 2 hours on a 3pm check in on a Sunday when we’d booked an executive suite for four days, can you even believe this?? Upon arriving at the hotel, we were told that our room is not ready to go and have a free drink in the restaurant. We were not allowed Champayne. Complained and they finally gave it to us. Finally got the key at 5 pm so waited an extra two hours. Bearing in mind my partner had surgery the next day at 5 am. The duty manager is an absolute disgrace! He came down, looking scruffy in jumper,jeans and trainers we could not believe it. He didn’t have a care in the world on his phone, avoiding the situation. My girlfriend saw him in the corridor out the way, when we were complaining on the phone. When I approached him, he did not shake my hand. He just looked at me. Confused didn’t offer any complimentary dinner or anything like that as a sorry. Really really bad management some of the staff were friendly and some are not friendly at all. Je voyage beaucoup et je m'attendais vraiment à autre chose au vu des commentaires que j'avais lu. L'accueil très glacial et ce pendant tout le séjour vraiment on a eu l'impression de ne pas être attendu. On ne nous explique rien ni qu'il faut récupérer à la réception les serviettes et les clefs vestiaires pour la piscine aucune info c'est à nous d 'aller à la pêche aux info. Le petit déjeuner était très basics vraiment rien d'extraordinaire pas mal de poussière au niveau de la chambre nous avions 2 chambres l'une le mini bar plein l'autre chambre mini bar vide ??? Au moment du départ on me facture 2 j de parkings alors que nous n'avons pas mis la voiture au parking de l'hôtel mais à l'extérieur au delà de l'erreur qui peut arriver la personne à la réception insiste oui oui c'est noté que vous avez utilisez le parking c'est un autre membre du personnel qui est intervenu pour lui dire que c'était une erreur. Vraiment un gros travail à faire en terme d'accueil au niveau du personnel.

An oddly placed property that worked well for our visit to WSL. The layout of the hotel is strange with numerous hallways that don't connect .... we seemed to constantly be transiting through the bar lobby. The weirdest thing is that they have a very large swimming pool but NO TOWELS provided. We found we had to go to the front check-in desk to pick up towels. (No sign was displayed in the pool area no staff member told us about the towel pick-up when we asked about pool hours). Our room was spacious but towels were not fully replaced. Our worst experience was a total LOSS OF POWER on FRIDAY afternoon/evening. We were going out and did not have power for the hair dryer. NO APOLOGY whatsoever from the staff. When we checked out and they asked how our stay was, we mentioned the Friday night disaster and their response was "some construction was going on". At $300 /night we expected some apology and/or reduction on the bill. The breakfast was a bit disappointing no fresh eggs were available. When the one an donly coffee machine stoppped (on 2 different mornings), the staff seemed at a loss as to how to resolve it ... the manager came simply emptied the lower bin. Staff training could definitely be improved. Unless you need to be in WSL, I would stay elsewhere.

Morgenmaden næsten kun kinesisk, personale i restauranten virkede uengageret og var ikke gode til at fylde op. Møbler på værelse og i restaurant meget slidte, porcelæn havde skår. Hotellet ligger perfekt for toget til Bruxelles, kun 10 minutters gang til stationen.

very well maintained hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. the restaurants were good and the bar had nice hot and cold drinks options. the staff were always smiling, and very nice and helpful, especially Jennifer. the hotel is conveniently also located close to the university and hospital, so it can be ideal if you have frequent trips there, although it can be quite expensive.

the only downfall of this hotel is the lack of communication. on the bedroom tv it states last orders for restaurant is at 9.50pm. we arrived at the chinese restaurant on the ground floor and the waitress working there said kitchen closes at 9.30pm, incredibly frustrating. at one point i couldn't access my bedroom because my access card stopped working, had to travel to reception a few times to get them to sort the issue out

I was for the second time in the Tangla hotel in Brussels. The clean room was spacious, offered all what you need for business activities. People are all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a nice mix between Europe and China. I liked it very much and will come back, when have business in Brussels.

I have been going to this hotel for the past 8 years. It is sad to see that it has not been maintained at all. The carpets need upgrading, the rooms need new paint, the washrooms have rusted mirrors, and the cabinets are all chipped. This is no longer a 5-star hotel. Also, the lovely breakfast buffet now has these horrible machines that do coffee and sludge water for tea, forcing the client to get their coffee/tea but delivering badly tasting water and coffee. Why would you place two of those machines in a 5-star hotel? TThe breakfast bufeet is no onger an mazing buffett. This used to be such a good hotel, and now it is just another normal, shittified hotel. This no longer represents Chinses hospitality. Shame on you
