Novotel Antwerp is one of the hotel we stay so often. Building is slightly old and location is not the best but free car parking (which is rare in Antwerp) and hotel staff are very friendly.

This was the third time I stayed at this hotel & that explains enough that I am happy with this hotel. I specially appreciate that there is good parking space & that it is free / included in the hotel room price. Also very good that food & drink options are available in the reception 24/7 if you arrive very late close to the night.

Hotellet passade bra för genomresa och hade en pool där vi kunde ägna några timmar i solen. Det finns laddare till elbil precis intill. Hotellet ligger mitt i ett industriområde så omgivningarna är inte jättekul, men med bil tar man sig enkelt till ett mysigt centrum.

Das auf den ersten Blick unscheinbare Hotel in einem Industriegebiet, hat es im Garten in sich. Eine große Grünfläche mit Bäumen und der Pool mit den Liegen laden zum verweilen ein. Ein Fußballtor und eine Tischtennisplatte sorgen für Abwechslung und die Kids waren Glück. Handtücher für den Pool, sind ebenso vorhanden, wie ein Ball und Tischtennisschläger. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstucksbuffet bietet eine super Auswahl und ist für Kinder sogar kostenlos. Wir haben das Hotel nur für einen Zwischenstop genutzt, haben aber schon überlegt uns Antwerpen mal ein paar Tage anzuschauen, denn dafür wäre das Haus auch eine gute Wahl.

Awful hotel, to be avoided. In dire need of renovation. Our room wasn't cleaned, there was food (like vomit) in the sink!!!! The lady at the front desk had to clean herself since there was no personnel in the evening. The restaurant was ok though.

We picked it for the free parking and it was easy access to both the hi way and 10 minutes to downtown. It’s a comfortable clean place with a very friendly and helpful staff and good food. It’s safe but not walkable. A bit of an industrial area but quiet, glad I had a car though.

After travelling from the UK to our first stop we were really disappointed by this hotel. We arrived at 5pm to walk into a dirty, uncleaned and unprepared room. With two small children in tow this was very inconvenient. We then had to wait for it to be made up which was over an hour. To top it off the restaurant is closed on a Sunday night so we couldn’t even eat whilst we wait. They were clearly short staffed and the guy did try his hardest to be helpful. The hotel location meant that there was not a lot around to offer. Breakfast was good though.

Reception staff were fine, housekeeping was rubbish and for the whole two nights the hotel had no hot water. We were out during the day when I was advised there was some hot water. When we arrived and when we left and the times we were in the hotel, there wasn’t even a trickle of hot water. Booked for two nights received no replacement of tea or coffee in my room for the second day. Very uncomfortable pillows and a bathroom that came out of the 1980s.

The room was old already. On the sofa you can see several black and undefined spots. The receptionist was smoking several times therfore never answering the phone. The dinner is overpriced as they know there are less restaurants in the near surroundings. Furgher the room smells as an ashtray as all the rooms are connected with the ventilation system. You can use the hotel for short stays and if you work in the near area.

Nee veel goeds te melden. Bij inchecken stond er niemand achter de balie. 10 minuten wachten. Kamer was verschrikkelijk heet en vies. Geen zeep aanwezig. Ook lager er nog lepeltjes van de vorige bewoners van de kamer. 1 handdoek te weinig. Schimmel in de douche. Kamer voelde afgeleefd. Buffet was het pannenkoeken apparaat kapot. Ook het apparaat van de huizes was kapot. Alleen met al geen fijne ervaring

We are three of us (adult x 1, 2 kids) but not enough towels, sofa bed was not ready and pillows they did not provided until we complained. And bed legs are broken also. I stayed this Novotel so many times but this one first time we got this bad quality.

I liked the friendliness of the staff and easy checkin/checkout facility. I did not like the fact that the telephone in the room was totally broken with no buttons on it and was not usable. The temperature control system was non-functional, had to open a window during winter as it was uncomfortably hot in the room for sleeping at night.

Ich habe 4 Nächte in dem Hotel verbracht. Gleich am ersten Tag musste ich eine defekte Lampe (Hauptlicht), eine verstopfte Waschmuschel, eine defekte dusche (Beim brause kopf war die dichtung defekt und das wasser kam überall raus nur nicht dort wo es sollte) und üblen Zigaretten duft melden. Die defekte Lampe war besonders gefährlich da es beim einschalten ein permanentes bruzzel Geräusch mit leichtem Elektronik geruch gab. Auf alle Fälle wurde am zweiten Tag nur die Lampe getauscht. Nach erneuter Intervention wurde die Dusche und die Verstopfung am dritten Tag behoben. Gegen den Zigaretten rauch konnten sie nichts unternehmen da die lüftung mit den anderen Zimmern verbunden sei und dadurch der Geruch von einem anderen Gast stammen würde. Entgegenkommen vom Hotel nicht zu sehen. Nichtmal ein Getränk wurde spendiert geschweige den Preis Reduktion. Das Frühstück war nicht schlecht obschon man mitunter auch im dunkeln essen musste da die neuen Angestellten die Lichtschalter nicht fanden. Einziger Vorteil des Hotels ist die gute Lage wenn man im Industriegebiet arbeiten muss. Auf Privatbesuch auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen.

Bij aankomst was er niemand bij de receptie en stond er een bordje met over 5 min terug. 5 minuten werden 15 min. Wij kregen als compensatie gratis ontbijt voor de 2 dagen.Vervolgens kregen wij de kaartjes en konden wij naar de kamer. Bij aankomst in de kamer kwamen we binnen en viel het ons al meteen op dat het raam open stond. Meerdere pogingen gedaan deze dicht te krijgen dat lukte niet. Er was een baby bij ons aanwezig dus dat is niet handig. De badkamer was zo smerig dat je daar de kriebels van kreeg. Besloten om naar een andere kamer te vragen want kamer 325 op de 3e verdieping was het niet uit te houden en zeker niet voor de 264 euro die ik betaald heb. Bij het verwisselen van de kamers specifiek nagevraagd of ons ontbijt ook bij deze kamer stond medewerkster gaf aan dat die automatisch gewijzigd was. Wij kregen een nieuwe kamer 126 deze was netter dan de 1e kamer. Wij hebben daar geslapen en in de ochtend toen wij aan het ontbijt wilden gaan werd ons verteld dat wij geen ontbijt hadden. Na wat heen en weer bellen door de keuken en receptie mochten wij gaan ontbijten. Na het ontbijt gaan douchen en de badkamer stond helemaal blank. Ik heb toen aan de medewerker doorgegeven dat ik het erg jammer vind dat alles op deze manier verloopt aangezien ik best een fors bedrag heb betaald. De medewerker wees mij erop dat als de accomodatie mij niet beviel ik ook uit kan checken en mijn geld terug zou krijgen. Ik heb een formulier ingevuld.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The reception staff were lovely. Same for the restaurant and bar staff, all very helpful and attentive. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was great.. Plenty parking too.

Not a very welcoming hotel .... during check-in 3 people behind the desk and no other customers but none of the staff interested in helping or greeting me (completely ignoring me), nobody at the breakfast and nobody again during check-out (so eventually I gave up and put the room-card in the box). Room was clean. Breakfast simple/OK. Will stay again but staff needs some customer training.

In het havengebied dit eenvoudige en goed verblijf voor 1 of 2 nachten. Men is aan het verbouwen, maar wij waren er in het weekend dus was het rustig in en om het hotel. Leuke binnentuin, kleine oase, zeer verrassend. In de omgeving is er verder niets (havengebied) daarvoor moet je naar de binnenstad rijden. Kamer was schoon en netjes. Goede bedden! We werden zeer vriendelijke ontvangen en ook weer zeer vriendelijk 'uitgezwaaid'. Ik vermoed dat dit hotel veel zakelijk wordt geboekt. Als we weer naar Antwerpen gaan (mooie stad!) zou ik zonder twijfel dit hotel weer boeken.

Leuk hotel. Erg basic en sommige dingen verouderd zoals inrichting. Toiletpapier in t zwembad. Goed Personeel. Simpele keuken. Voor gewoon een goed en simpel verblijf met weinig luxe is t prima. Oh ja, goede plek bij snelwegen en ook bij centrum Antwerpen.

We booked a room for 3 people, but there were only 2 pillows and 2 towels. We found old socks on the floor from a previous guest…. We would prefer the restaurant crew payed a little more attention to fill up the buffet during breakfast.
