Badezimmer war nicht richtig sauber. Sehr hellhörig die Zimmer. 24 Stunden Self-Kiosk am Eingang, da fehlte Nix. Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung. Ansonsten großzügiger Eingangsbereich wo man mal verweilen konnte mit bequemen Sofas

Okay, lets be clear, we booked this on Hotels. Com as a hotel, THIS IS NOT A HOTEL ITS A HOSTEL. The list on Hotels. Com is totally misleading as are the photographs. I am sure 20 years ago this was a top hotel, it has now been bought by a company, who appear to operate hostels and thats exactly what you get. The hotel is in very poor condition and desperate for an upgrade. The room we booked for a family of 3 was large, the bathroom was clean as were the bed sheets, but the furnishings and fittings were in very poor condition as was the bathroom. The room had a fridge, a kettle without cups, tea,coffee or milk. The door lock didn't work but had a suplementary chain and the TV didnt work. Our bed sheets were left on the bed which we queried, but having booked a family room we were expected to make our own bed. Parking is 25 euros a night. The area around the hotel is close to Gare de nord. This area is quite a distance from the center. The metro station at Gare de nord can be reached in about 10 minutes walking. The metro takes about 12minutes. The area around the station and the hotel is not the best and this is publicised locally. The station is littered with homeless people and drug users and petty crime is rife. We were advised not to walk back from the metro to the hotel after dark by metro staff, unfortunately we were late and this made for a very uncomfortable walk back to the hotel. The staff are not knowledgeable about the area, and lack politeness.

This is a good hotel for northern Brussels. It's a 5 min walk to Gare Nord station and 10 min from Rogier metro. There is an excellent Belgian restaurant across the front lobby named Sez and Miele and a grocery store directly behind. Great enclosed garden for tea/coffee/drinks wiht drinks. Beds were comfortable. Shower head was weak and there is a gym in basement which is good

The president Brussels hotel is a lovely hotel with a great reception area, rooms are a little outdated, but well furnished and very clean. The gym was 24hr and seemed to be will equipped. Found some staff to be a little rude, we arrived before our check-in and wanted to drop our bags of and the receptionist laughed at us and was quite rude not sure if something was lost in translation but we did manage to drop our bags off and all was well. Area around the hotel was a little dirty but is in a good location with plenty of transport link nearby, is around a 30 min walk to the city centre.

For us as a family it was a great location. Quiet. Only a 5 minute walk to the travel hub (trains:trams:buses). A 15 minute walk to a large selection of restaurants. Kids loved playing pool and table tennis! Only down side was our bathroom had a number of dark hairs (we’re all fair) and there was a bit of minor wear and tear. A little dated too but that’s not a big deal. Our beds were lovely and comfy tho! So great sleep was had. Breakfasts were good and the staff we interacted with were nice. Last comment: staff phones were very dominant which wasn’t good.

Hotel oogt zeer netjes. Ontbijt is top geregeld. Fitness ruimte is dik in orde. De kamers zijn helaas in iets mindere staat dan men zou verwachten. De badkamer gedateerd en een föhn die het niet doet. Ook staat de badkamer verwarming aan die je zelf niet uit kunt zetten, waardoor het in de kamer wel aan de warme kant is. Bedden waren wel erg lekker. Niet hard en niet te zacht.

Had a lovely stay here with our young baby. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is very well kept. The parking was easy to access even with a higher vehicle and the hotel is well situated with easy access to the tram into the center

Extremely disappointing experience. My first room reeked of cigarette smoke, and it was only after I insisted that the receptionist reluctantly offered an alternative — no initiative whatsoever. Despite requesting housekeeping via the QR code, my room was never cleaned and the towels were never changed. Basic standards of cleanliness and service were completely ignored.

I read a lot of reviews before staying here and hoped my experience would be better, but a few issues did come up. I stayed in November and the location was decent—about a 30-minute walk to the Grand Palace and next to a police station in the financial district. When I arrived, I checked the bed and found hair on the sheets. Reception said they would try to send someone, and if not, they’d change them themselves. About 10 minutes later, someone tried to enter my room. I opened the door expecting staff or my friends, but it was another guest who had been assigned the same room. I’d already unpacked, so he left, but it was unsettling. Reception did come up and replace the sheets afterwards. The bathroom in my room—and my friends’—had visible mould stains at the top, which looked like they’d been cleaned but not fully removed. On my second day, my room key stopped working and I had to get it reactivated after breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was very limited compared to cheaper hotels I’ve stayed in. My friends didn’t have major issues, and the hotel is okay for a short stay. Just note that if you want new towels or room cleaning, you have to request it in advance, otherwise it won’t be done. There was also some mould around the windows.

Die Unterkunft war leider sehr schmutzig, die Möbel waren beschädigt und an der Decke war Schimmel. Wir hatten für 3 Tage gebucht aber die Unterkunft noch am Ankunftstag wieder verlassen. A&O hostels verweigert leider jede Rückzahlung oder Erstattung und reagiert auch nicht auf Emails. Dringend von abzuraten. Der ganze Betrieb ist auf Abzocke basiert. Die Fotos im Internet haben nichts mit der Wirklichkeit zu tun.

The hotel is very good, spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable, the room was spotless, and the shower was excellent. However, the breakfast was very disappointing and not worth paying for. The reception staff deserves 4 stars.

In die Jahre gekommen und leider sehr dreckig- fremde Haare im Bett an den Handtüchern, leere Flaschen vom Vorgänger im Schrank, es wurde nicht sauber gemacht morgens. Die Gegend ist nicht wirklich einladend und das Auto Draußen stehen zu lassen war keine Option. Das Personal unten war aber sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Hotel muito bom! Cama boa, banheiro bom, quarto espaçoso, o mais espaçoso de toda a viagem. Foi conveniente para mim pois fica bem próximo da estação notrte e ao lado dos pontos de embarque e desembarque da Flixbus.

The room was nice and big with a comfortable bed. It's an easy walk from the Brussels-Nord train station. There was no air conditioning, but fortunately there was a fan and I could open the windows. However, the smell of someone smoking outside came through and it was very noisy. It's close to a police station, so there were car/van doors slamming and loud talking until nearly 11:45pm. I did ask to change rooms, but they didn't have any of the same type available, so I would have to pay more for another room. I would suggest you avoid any room near the end of the hallway. At lease one of the power outlets didn't work and it could use better lighting as it was too dim to read after dark. There was also no shower curtain which seemed odd. The staff were all very polite.

This hotel is two hotels in one. The first has a range of comfortable rooms (Executive room) with all the room amenities you would expect from a hotel of this price. The second is a low budget hotel (Standard room) which does not include a fridge, air con or any of the basic things you would expect. The difference is about €30 a night. I was first booked into the Standard room, which was very disappointing and well below par. Because of the exceptionally hot weather, after the first night I questioned the air con situation but was told I would needed to upgraded to the executive room to get air con. I did this and have to say the executive room was much better. I don't think they make these differences clear in the description, but there is no way the standard rooms are 4 star. Other than this the hotel was clean and staff friendly, only other thing is it's a little out the way with not much going on around the hotel.

Staff was friendly. Room was incredibly spacious. It was quite convenient that the toilet was separated by a physical door from the shower and sink. Quite a lot of choices for breakfast. Unfortunately, even though there are quite some good points the hotel suffers from deteriorating conditions. It looks as if it had better days. The bathroom's floor was chipping away (it was painted?). The toilet's handle would quite easily get stuck and result in a lot of wasted water. To our surprise, when we arrived into the room it was already in that state (who knows for how long had it already been wasting water!). Furniture showed considerable wear, for example the closet doors were crooked. Then, it is a considerable walk to the train station, which happens to be in construction. Not the hotel's fault but not a nice experience to use the station to get to the city's center.

The hotel wasnt far from the Brussels north railway station and the trams were also within walking distance. Our room was at the front of the hotel and unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise going on up to nearly midnight. The air conditioning had been turned off as it was now classed as being cold outside and when we complained it was too warm we were told we could open a window which wasnt ideal due to the noise outside making it hard to get to sleep after a long day out in the city seeing the sights. The house maid only left the minimum tea/coffee/milk refill so if you wanted a drink when you came in and one in the morning there was not sufficient supplies to do so but the front of house staff brought some to our room when we requested some extra.
The hotel wasnt far from the Brussels north railway station and the trams were also within walking distance. Our room was at the front of the hotel and unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise going on up to nearly midnight. The air conditioning had been turned off as it was now classed as being cold outside and when we complained it was too warm we were told we could open a window which wasnt ideal due to the noise outside making it hard to get to sleep after a long day out in the city seeing the sights. The house maid only left the minimum tea/coffee/milk refill so if you wanted a drink when you came in and one in the morning there was not sufficient supplies to do so but the front of house staff brought some to our room when we requested some extra.

A localização não é tão próxima do centro, mas é praticamente em frente ao ponto do Flixbus e fica pertinho da estação Noord, ideal para fazer os passeios nas cidades vizinhas (fomos em Bruges, Gant, Antuérpia e Leuven). O café da manhã é bem básico, não valeu muito à pena o que pagamos. Funcionários simpáticos e prestativos! Valeu muito à pena escolher essa estadia para nossa visita a Bruxelas!

The check in process was not a good experience at all. The staff had to change the key cards 3 times for a successful entry to the room. We had to shuffle between the reception and first floor thrice at 11pm. One of the beds were not made. When asked the staff said that they are not bound to make it ready and it’s upto the customers to make it. One of the bunk beds did not have the bed spread either. The AC was not working in the adjoining room. When asked the staff said they would not switch on till June !!! But the ac was working in the main room.

I would never stay at a property managed by this company again. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. My room wasn’t ready at check-in time, and no one seemed to care. When I finally entered the room, it was dirty, with a lot of dust, and the pillows were old and completely flat. I went to the front desk to ask for extra pillows, but the staff member told me that was impossible. If something happens, there is no one you can talk to who is willing or able to help. There is no management available, and the staff lack basic problem-solving skills. Overall, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Overall good experience but the front desk agent was very rude and bland in accommodating me with luggage storage. Made an issue out of it, did not provide me with a coffee recommendation in the area, and showed me no attention after giving me the tag to put the luggage on to which I left with my luggage and walked around with my bag. Very rude.

Checkout was a nightmare. They had charged a small bar bill to the wrong room and refused to accept they made a mistake. Front desk staff was argumentative and in the end refused to remove the incorrect charge. Since it was a small amount and we were in a hurry to leave we let it go. Good customer service would have just removed the incorrect charge.

An interesting hotel with large rooms with breakfast included at a reasonable cost. Close to the city and station. Next to several blocks of flats which made the area look a bit rough late at night but probably safe. Large rooms with good bathroom but otherwise the rooms were very bare with not even a plastic glass for water and no tea or coffee. It gave the impression of having been a more luxurious hotel in the past.

The president Brussels hotel is a lovely hotel with a great reception area, rooms are a little outdated, but well furnished and very clean. The gym was 24hr and seemed to be will equipped. Found some staff to be a little rude, we arrived before our check-in and wanted to drop our bags of and the receptionist laughed at us and was quite rude not sure if something was lost in translation but we did manage to drop our bags off and all was well. Area around the hotel was a little dirty but is in a good location with plenty of transport link nearby, is around a 30 min walk to the city centre.

This hotel is delightful and cozy. The small shop offering drinks and snacks is a brilliant addition. The receptionists, all three of whom I interacted with, were exceptionally kind and attentive. However, please note that it's a 30-40 minute walk to Grand Place, and a taxi ride will cost around €15-20 ,given the weather during our stay, relying on taxis was necessary, which isn't a reflection on the hotel but something to be mindful of if you choose to stay here.

Zimmer sehr sauber und modern, bequemes Bett, leider im obersten Stock kein Fenster zu öffnen, aber Klimaanlage vorhanden. We had a hiccup on arrival that was fixed the next day. We could not get comfortable in the hot room until we got a fan, apparently the central air caters to the coolness. Menu in the restaurant should change up not have the same old choices everyday.

The hotel is very good, spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable, the room was spotless, and the shower was excellent. However, the breakfast was very disappointing and not worth paying for. The reception staff deserves 4 stars.

Det er hvad det er et youth hostel der engang var et flot hotel men er slidt Masser af larm på gangen også efter 22 men store værelser dog er der meget støj fra badeværelset og en seng der er sten hård Et kvarter med masser af trafik og et mindre heldigt omdømme men lige ved siden af en politi station så ikke meget ballade Vildt kedelig morgenmad mere er der ikke at sige

The hotel was nice and welcoming. Our room had all the basic necessities and was comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast had a large selection of hot and cold continental choices. I had a hot breakfast each day as I am coeliac. I was a bit disappointed being told at check-in that the restaurant does have GF options to find when asking if there was any GF bread at breakfast for toast, non of the staff were able to answer. When asking at reception later in the day (not to disturb staff during breakfast service) I was informed the hotel does not have GF bread options, the disappointment being the mixed information. It wasn’t too much of an inconvenience as we did lots of research into restaurants/cafes in Brussles city centre that had GF waffles and crepes which were perfect for snacks and lunch!

Btw the lobby bar didn’t have a wine opener for us to enjoy our French wine in our room before we left. I had to walk to the Standard to get the bottle opened, which was awkward. Not penalizing them for that but odd.

There was a long delay at check in due to only one member of staff on reception. Staff were very friendly but clearly under staffed. The decor of the hotel looked very tired with heavily stained carpets and sofas. the breakfast was very basic, a selection of cereals and cold meet and cheese.
